This newly renovated 2 bedroom/bath condo is beautifully situated on the 4 th hole of the San Jose del Cabo - Mayan Palace Golf course, just across the street from a beautiful stretch of white sand beach. This main floor unit can accommodate 2 to 5 people (one bedroom or two), The unit is tastefully decorated in traditional Mexican style but with many modern amenities like wireless Internet, Sat TV, free LD phone, mini-split AC, newly renovated kitchen and bath w. new Maytag washer. The complex has 2 pools, one with restaurant-bar and several palapas and 2 tennis courts.
San Jose del Cabo is the 'quieter and picturesque ' colonial sister to 'touristy' Cabo San Lucas. It is a quaint town with many wonderful restaurants and shops and is only a 20 minute walk away from the condo. With the Sea of Cortez a short walk across the beach and a panoramic view of the golf course, this is a wonderful place to relax and rejuvenate.
It is also within an easy 5 minute walk to the new Mega Shopping Center and Mall with many restaurants, bars and miniature golf. No car required here!
World class golfing at Palmilla, Querencia, Cabo del Sol and Puerto Los Cabos is within a few minutes drive. Surfing is a walk down the beach and snorkeling a 10 minute drive. Deep sea fishing charter boats, of any size, now run out of the new Puerto Los Cabos marina within a few minutes drive. Whale watching and surf casting fishing can be enjoyed from the beach in front of the Condo.

The location is great, easy walking to Beach, Estuary and Mega.Love the pools and restaurant at pool#1 The accomadations were great, beds very comfortable with the foam toppers.Updated kitchen with all new appliances and all necessary utensils. We love the multiple decks so you can always find sun or shade. Love the heated pool and the friendly people. We will definately come again.Did you find this review helpful? Location was perfect for us close to the mega and close to downtown. Buses were easy to travel on. We were happy with the place. My wife thought it could use some updates, but it had everything we needed. Kitchen supplies were a bit lacking knives were dull with no way to sharpen ect. Overall we would be happy to stay again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.
Owner response: Unfortunately this guest failed to see or use the knife sharpening steel that is contained in the knife block; this could have been used to sharpen the knives while he was cleaning the 100 lbs of tuna he was preparing for freezing and shipping home. All of the kitchen supplies and appliances including the knives are of high quality so I feel their criticism is unjustified.

Thank you for the rental of your property, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in San Jose, and in particular enjoyed the Las Misiones Condo Complex as a whole; its a wonderful community on its own. About the owner: My wife and I have been coming down to the Baja for the last 15 years and find it the perfect escape from the cold rainy weather we experience during winter months of the year in the Pacific Northwest.
Why the Owner Chose Las Misiones del San Jose:
My wife and I were looking for a large 2 bedroom condo that was centrally located in Los Cabos and within walking distance to the beach, shopping and San Jose town center. We found it at Misiones de San Jose. We have seen the area grow dramatically since we first came down to Cabo in 1990 but the area around our retains its natural beauty and colonial charm. We welcome people to come down and explore the area around San Jose and enjoy all it has to offer.

We love being able to walk across the street and go for long quiet walks on the beautiful unspoiled beach and then stopping by the Mega store on the way home to pick up few fresh food items for lunch or dinner.
