Why the Owner Chose Tyra IV Riverbend Lodge
After searching everywhere for the perfect property, we fell in love with both Breckenridge and the Riverbend Lodge. Breck is both our favorite mountain and favorite resort town, and the Riverbend Lodge had everything we were looking for. It is less than 50 feet from the lift, has a central location to get anywhere on the mountain easily, is a newer and upscale development, is located in a quiet area surrounded by green space, and has tremendous amenities like heated underground parking and spa access with indoor/outdoor hot tubs, sauna, and steam room. We also fell in love with our unit for the personalized and very high quality furnishings, cozy atmosphere, and private jetted Jacuzzi tub!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The Riverbend Lodge is situated uniquely to provide immediate and central access to the mountain via the Snowflake Lift and return access via either the Snowflake run or the Four OClock run. Most other properties located slopeside are more crowded high-rises, while the Riverbend Lodge is tucked away with green space surroundings and a quiet, peaceful environment. Also located at the Snowflake Lift base is a ticket window, rental shop (that gives Riverbend guests a 30% discount!), and bus stop.

My wife and I started learning to snowboard in 2007, and we quickly came to realize it was our favorite winter activity to enjoy together. After a full year of battling ski traffic on I-70, we decided there had to be a better way. Now that we have our condo, we can sleep in, catch a great day of boarding, and relax in the hot tub and hang out together - much better than getting up at 4:30AM and being stuck in traffic both ways! Unfortunately we can't stay all winter, so when we aren't there we like to share it with others. Hopefully you can enjoy it as much as we do!

Our experience at this condo was pretty stellar. We got into town before noon, but the management company was helpful in getting us checked in earlier than usual, so we only had to wander around and explore for about an hour while the cleaning crew finished up. Condo was nicely furnished, great location (you walk down the hall and out the door to the Snowflake Lift.) Building was pretty quiet, even when it got crowded during the weekend. On the "warmer" days, it was nice to walk down the street to town and not have to deal with the car. Free shuttle stop is about half a block down and is convenient if you want to start the day off at a different area. The management company doesn't provide housekeeping while you are there, but wouldn't kill them to change the towels once. Other than that, I'd say its a pretty great place to crash during your trip. This condo was fantastic for our honeymoon! We enjoyed having easy access to downtown Breck, but also feeling so comfy just hanging out in the condo. There were games to play, DVDs to watch, a jacuzzi tub to relax in...even the hot tub and sauna were only a few doors down the hallway. Everything was very clean and the decor is beautiful. We found the owners to be so helpful with answering emails quickly. We'd love to come back someday!

I can't say enough about how convenient staying at this condo was. We rented gear the night before at the rental location less then 100 ft from the front door. Got up the next morning and got on the lift which was even closer then the rental location. The condo was very well maintained and very confortable. The amenities were wonderful as well. The hot tubs were clean and not crowded. There were even nice gas grills for us to cook some steaks on. I will definitely be staying at this condo again.

We stayed at this lovely condo during our snowboarding trip in February of '09. We had a blast, the condo was so cozy and cute. The access to the lift was amazing. Literally just a few steps from the front door. We got up, got dressed, drank coffee and were on the lift. This condo should definitely be on anyone's top places to stay. We will surely be visiting again, Thanks for the wonderful stay!
