Estrella del Mar is gated resort - secluded and tranquil. It is very, very rare to run into anyone on the beach who is not staying at the resort. The 18 hole Robert Trent Jones II golf course is consistently ranked in the top 5 in Mexico and has most tee boxes or greens within feet of the beach.

Everything is provided to make your stay as comfortable as home and both the description and photos are accurate. The condo, the grounds and the pool are immaculate and the golf course is gorgeous. We went for long walks on the beach every day and we often felt like it was a private beach. It is not in the "hotel zone" and that's what we love about it. The owner was great about answering questions ahead of time and the management on the premises will help with anything you need. It's just fabulous!"

Owner was extremely helpful answering my questions prior to arrival. Condo was nicely set up and very comfortable. Shuttle to Mazatlan takes about 40 minutes with convenient drop off/pick up times. Rent a car if you plan on late nights in town as shuttle stops at 9:30pm. Short walk up the beach to the restaurant with a nicely varied menu in case you don't feel like cooking. Would recommend taking advantage of the grocery stocking service as the nearest store is via $30 shuttle to town. Will definitely return to this property!!!! Recommended for: Tourists without a Car, Romantic Getaway, Girls Getaway, Age 55+, Families with Teenagers
