Neat and cozy condo,steps to free Vail Valley bus to Vail Mountain,Lionshead and Cascade. Ten short minutes to the lift. Leave your car at home or drive 1.5 miles to Vail Mountain covered parking lot.
Bright and very sunny with spectacular Vail Mountain views. Balcony, wood burning fireplace, hardwood floors and newly renovated, fully stocked kitchen. Has a comfy queen size bed, twin daybed that opens into a king and queensize sleeper sofa with extra thick matress. All beds and furnishings are brand new. Sleeps 6. Parking next to front door (both covered and uncovered).
High ceilings with amazing views of the mountain from both the living room and upstairs bedroom loft area.

The owner was unresponsive. First problem was getting the code to enter the condo. He promised to e-mail the morning of our arrival. Never came. At 3 PM check in time, after three tries calling (full mailbox) we reached him in the islands. He immediately requested we call back on another number because the call was costing him money. He finally did give us the code. Second problem was the TV did not work. Called owner and he said it did work, but to call his maintenance man. The maintenance man was totally uninterested in the situation. No response from owner or maintenance person ever so we never got TV. Third problem was the condo. They redid the floor in the living room area with wood, but when they matched the wood floor to existing tile floor in the kitchen they left an 8 inch square spot with no tile or wood and just threw in loose tile to fill the hole. It is an additional indication of the owners lack of attention to this property. He seems to be just the kind of person who should not own property because of his lack of attention to the unit and dealing with his renters. The unit was clean, but very dated, the bed comfortable, and the view as advertised. Also, as advertised, there is no internet connection, and cell service is sketchy. I would certainly recommend staying away from this property and owner if possible.

Owner response: The code was given at the time of check in as promised. Unfortunately the cable co. Switched to digital and did not inform us and we finally figured out why the TV was not working. It always worked before. The renter was there just for the weekend and despite all efforts they could not fix it till the tenant left. This is our only negative experience and it was beyond our control. The benefits of the unit speak for themselves. We are skiers and only rent when we are not using the unit Everything is top notch and have rented for 5 seasons without a negative experience Beautifully furnished,convenient location,free shuttle, low cost,very responsive owner,clean, new very comfortable bed.call me judge for yourself Dr Mal
