This cozy and spacious (1111 sq. feet) condo has been remodeled and has brand new beautiful hardwood floors on the main floor. The master bedroom has a Kingsize Sleep Number Bed and the guest bedroom has a Queen bed with its own bathroom. The upstairs loft has one twin and a bunkbed (twin xl over queen). The bunkbed that is brand new and custom made is sturdy enough to hold adults. The bottom queen has a new Spring Air memory foam mattress. This room has a TV and a Playstation (that also works for DVDs). The two main bedrooms also have their own TVs and one has a built-in DVD. The living room features a flat screen TV as well as a DVD player.
The full kitchen has all needed amenities, including microwave, toaster, coffee pot, coffee grinder, blender etc.
This place is extremely family friendly with lots of toys, books, DVDs, a pack-n-play, toddler mattress, high chair, booster seat, and an optional gate for the staircase. Everything is stored in a closet and can be used for your convenience.
The patio is facing a common green area perfect for outdoor play. The complex has a heated pool, a hot tub, a sauna, and changing room open year-round. There are also BBQ grills and a volleyball court next to the pool area.
The location is very close to the ski area (less than one mile), yet it is found in a quiet wooded area with lots of open green spaces. The condo is within minutes to everything including skiing, biking, golfing, sailing, fishing, horseback riding, and many other activities (depending on season). The shuttle that runs every 20 minutes year round is available for your convenience. It is also within easy driving distance to 5 other major resorts: Arapahoe basin, Loveland, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, and Vail.

Why the Owner Chose Flying Dutchman
Keystone is the best family ski resort in the area. The slopes are wide and nicely groomed, yet they have enough black and blue runs to keep us happy too. There is also tubing, nordic skiiing, snowshoing, and ice skating (on Keystone Lake). In the summer you can rent paddle boats on the lake. There is also bike rental in the same place. There are also a lot of other activitites nearby, including golf, fly-fishing, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, sailing, and windsurfing. There is a spa close to the condominium and the conference center in Keystone is only a few minutes away.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The condominium complex (Flying Dutchman) is only a few minutes to the slopes, still it is in a very quiet location just by Snake River. The complex has plenty of green space, it has a nice pool area, volleyball court and barbecue grills. There is a free shuttle that stops right outside and will come year-round to take you to the slopes or the shops, restaurants, and conference center.
The condo itself is spacious with two good-sized bedrooms and a loft with additional beds that is open, but still very private. The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining table is large enough for a big party of people. One of the best features that makes this condo special is the entry mud room. There are two benches and plenty of storage with little cubbies for everyone. There is also a private patio that leads out to a green space.
Mountain House is located between Keystone Village and River Run Village, at the base of Dercum Mountain. The Argentine Lift and Peru Express provide access to the A51 Terrain Park for a little more challenge and fun, while you also have access to the Discovery, Poma and Magic carpets in the one of the largest learning areas of the mountain. With a ski school and children’s center, rental shops, retail shops, dining, youth zone with arcade, and lift ticket office, Mountain House has everything you’ll need right there. Shuttle service is provided to West Keystone (Flying Dutchman, Wild Irishman, etc).

We are originally from Sweden and moved to Colorado in 2006 for work. We love skiing and we go up to the mountains as often as we can. Since we have two little girls it is a lot easier if you have your own place and the youngest girl stays with one of us in the condo. We bought a large condo so we would have room for friends and relatives. We love Keystone and the other ski resorts that are nearby. We enjoy the place just as much in the summer, it is so peaceful up there and still there are many things going on in the summer. With all the hiking, biking, fishing, and sailing opportunities nearby there is plenty to do even for a family with small kids.

We had a great time staying here. The spiral staircase is not great for kids but overall the place had everything we wanted. Great location. Beautiful area. Very well maintiained property. All furnature was in good condition and place was very clean.
Owner response:Thanks for your review! We are looking into making the spiral staircase more kid friendly. In the meantime we have a gate that can be placed a few steps up. It is stored in the walk-in closet in the queen bedroom.

This condo was great for our family. Very nicely furnished and we really appreciated the child-friendly items available for use--made our packing much lighter!! The spiral staircase to the loft made us a little nervous with our young daughter, just because the balusters are quite far apart. No accidents though! The complex in general is very pleasant and we enjoyed using the pool. Thank you so much for your hospitality and we look forward to coming again.

I stayed in this condo with five girlfriends and we all loved it! We especially liked the exceedingly well-equipped kitchen that allowed us to cook fabulous dinners in the evenings after spending the day at the slopes. The whole place was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the free shuttle to the slopes. A perfect condo for a girls’ weekend or a family weekend!

This is a wonderful condo, perfect for one or two families or a medium-sized group. Our group had six adults and three small children, and we all ate and slept very comfortably and didn't feel cramped at all. The place is beautiful, with new hardwood floors, a very private-feeling loft, several TVs, and nice furniture. The building's amenities are excellent--huge hot tub and sauna, free shuttle, close to evertything. Families with children will find the assortment of children's gear (high chair, booster, safety gate, baby/toddler beds, Playstation, toys, books, etc.) to be very useful. This rental is a real value! I recommend it highly.

I have been renting condos in the mountains of Colorado for a few years now. This has been the most well maintained condo I have rented. It caters more toward the adult/family crowd that would appreciate nicer ammenities. Some of my favorite features were the gas fireplace, the Sleep Number bed, and the flat screen TVs. The place was very cozy and I looked forward to coming home and relaxing on the couch by the fire and watching a movie after skiing. Overall, this has been probably the nicest condo I have stayed in and I am slightly worried that by writing a good review it will make it harder for me to reserve this place in the future...
