There are three Dish Network equipped TVs with a DVDs/VCRs for your movies. Two multiple ramp boat launches are available within 2 miles and house is located on sandy beach where boat or jet skies can be landed and or anchored.
Our home in Rayburn Country Resort is located within the land of lakes and pines of East Texas. Whether your favorite outdoor experience is fishing, golfing, boating, hiking, canoing, hunting, photography, bird watching or just getting away, our home and Rayburn Country Resort is in the middle of it all! - Rayburn Country is a friendly community sharing many amenities. Nearby you will find a US Post Office, meat market, groceries, restaurants, a medical clinic, fire department, laundry facilities, tackle stores, boat rentals, and gas stations. Just a few miles away is the town of Jasper, and a little further away is Lufkin, both eager to satisfy most any of your needs.

- Handicapped Accessible (may have limitations): PLEASE REVIEW CAREFULLY - House is located on steep hill - Master bath includes grab bars in bath and toilet area - I have had my handicapped (wheelchair bound) brother in for the weekend. Assistance was needed to get him into the house. There are two steps from the driveway to a short grass area before the porch.
- Kid Friendly: The third Bedroom is Set up as Bunk room - My kids love being there.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters: 25 Years of age and must be staying in Home - No Rentals will be allowed without renting individual being present.

- Lake Sam Rayburn was created by impounding the Angelina River, creating a 114,000 acre lake that has a natural shoreline and many great fishing holes. The southern end of Lake Sam Rayburn was timbered prior to impounding and the northern end was partially timbered which has created a great fishing habitat. Should you wish to explore the other area lakes (Toledo Bend, B.A. Steinhagen) they are a short drive away. This gives the "lakes area" 336,200 acres of water, and almost 2000 miles of shoreline for you to enjoy. Rayburn Country Resort is located in the Lakes area of the Piney Woods of East Texas on the Southeast corner of Lake Sam Rayburn in Jasper County. Rayburn Country Resort operates a championship 27 hole golf course, clubhouse, lodge, seasonal pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, and sports core.
