Located on a private peninsula of the Golfe du Morbihan, world famous Natural Area, this family home is perfectly located for sailing and beach lovers, or golf enthusiasts. Sea access is a few steps away and a private mooring is also available in front of the house. The trail outside your door takes you down to beaches or to the coastal hike around the peninsula.
Built on two levels, the thick stone walls keep this traditional house cool all summer and cosy in the winter. This fully-furnished house features six comfortable bedrooms, in three separates area, providing privacy for two or three families. There are three bedrooms with double beds, one bedroom with two single beds and a children dormitory with four single beds. A large living and dining room features a spectacular fireplace.
Surrounding the villa, is a garden planted with pine-trees, hydrangea, palm trees, mimosas and lavender.
You are conveniently located for easy day trips to medieval towns, picturesque forts, neolithic stones alignments, tumulus, cairn, dolmen and menhirs, historic churches, marvelous rural or coastal scenery, and one- and two-rosette Michelin restaurants.
Enjoy hydrotherapy, algotherapy and physiotherapy in the best seawater therapy & Spas. Escape on a Boat trip to many charming nearby islands in the Gulf du Morbihan (Berder, Gavrinis, etc…) or in the Quiberon bay (Belle Ile, Houat, Hoedic).

T. Winn, NYC-USA : The balmy evenings were spent barbequeing on a huge hearth to open French doors with a majestic view of the boats sailing and motoring about the sea. The town nearby is straight out of a Van Gogh painting and the villagers relate to you as a welcomed visitor and acquaintance, not a tourist. I would recommend this wonderland to a group or a family and friends.

We arrived as planned and the owner was varnishing or staining outdoor furniture in the living area and this smell plus the general mustiness related to the house being closed all winter was not a pleasant start to our trip. My wife and I left the house after one night. When we complained to the owner after we left, the owner blamed us for arriving early whereas he actually had asked us if we could arrive earlier because he had an afternoon appointment elsewhere that day. The interior of the house is poorly decorated to say the least with sterile white walls, wood beams painted white, essentially no pictures on the walls, cheap living area furniture and a grass mat acting as floor covering. The owner had interior photos posted that didn't at all represent the interior as we found it. This property is waterfront but not beachfront. I wouldn't stay here again for free.Owner response: We have been listing on this web site and its predecessors for 10 years, and this is the first criticism. The writer arrived before the beginning of the rental period without any advice, during the cleaning of this big house, unpleasant situation for everyone. We welcomed the writer upon his arrival and he does not express any disappointment. The product used to protect the teak garden furniture is not a varnish but an ecologic, odor free, water based, environment free new product. The grass mat is a new organic natural seagrass floor covering, warm and convenient, according to this seaside house. Comfortable cosy quality sofas, cotton, no leather, and all double beds are brand new. He moved with his wife, no kids, to a 4 stars hotel which may provides a better lodging for old persons at a 10 times rate per person. He did not inform us of his premature departure and a week later ask for a full refund that we have not fully satisfied. This rejection may be the reason for the adverse comments. Families comes back every years and enjoys this friendly vacation house.
