We are located on Saint Louis Terrance near Viking Way
This 2 bedroom, one bath home, is furnished by an interior designer in a country French decor with top of the line furniture, beds and linens, and has gleaming hardwood floors. All rooms have ocean views. Enjoy spending time with family and friends in the large living room with HDTV and a dining room which seats 8. The kitchen has another dining table for the family to enjoy a quick meal.
We provide high-speed internet access.
Two large outdoor decks provide places for romantic cocktails and dining. Pick oranges, lemons and birds of paradise in you tropical garden. Young families will enjoy secure fenced front and back yards with grassy play areas. Perfect your grilling skiils on the outdoor gas grill.
We also provide boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, umbrella, and beach towels, and a cart to wheel all you gear to the beach!
La Jolla Shores is a short walk north of La Jolla Village and one mile south of the University of California (UCSD). San Diego airport and San Diego Zoo and Sea World are a 20 minute drive away.
Caretaker carriage house is occassionally occupied.

This ocean view cottage is a perfect example of La Jolla charm. During the time my husband and I stayed here, we were visited by our family who live in La Jolla. One evening we scheduled a together time. The cottage's spacious floor plan easily handled our group. While our sons worked with the BBQ at the back deck, the rest of us adults enjoyed the upper deck with its ocean view; and the children played board games in the large living/dining room area. The cottage is clean and well-maintained by an owner who is most attentive to guests' needs. We'll come again. NOTE to Di: the calendar on this page is not working. It displays only April. It won't let me enter March 31st as our arrival time, so I've entered April 1st. Please correct.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children.

Why the Owner Chose La Jolla Shores:
This home has the best view, and location for a family beach cottage. Over the years the kids and grandkids have played on the beach, boogie boarded, surfed, body surfed, kayaked, fished and sat around the beach fire pit at night. They have loved it, we love seeing them have a good time. There are not many places in the US where you can do all this. Plus the entire neighborhood reminds us of Cote d'Azure and Monte Carlo.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Sitting on the front deck you can enjoy the beauful white water views of the La Jolla Shores Beach beach and see all the way up the coast past Torrey Pines Park and to Del Mar. You can see the surfers, and kayakers, and children playing on the beach. At night you see the city lights of UCSD campus and Scrippts Pier and the entire mountainside!! Beautiful!! From the back deck you also see the the waves breaking on the point and the caves at La Jolla Village. Inside this is a perfect home for a family with children.
The yards are lush and green all year round, with fences for security. You can pick a lemon or orange off the fruit trees in the front yard.
