My wife and three small children and I just ended a great 20 day stay in this property! The location of the apartment, the size and accomidations were just perfect. The owner was easy to work with, and if we needed anything, they were ready to furnish it... The apartment was clean, the appliances were new, and the view was spectacular, dome of the rock and mountain of olives was a great back drop... Although there was no parking attached to the property, we had two lots which were very close and easy. The property was in walking distance of the Kotel (wall), the old city, the Mechane Yehuda, the trainline, the bus stops infront of the building, and there is a great play ground for children behind the the building. We had a great time and look forward to renting from this owner again!

The location is fantastic--only about a 5 minute walk to the "New Gate" for the Old City. Lots of good restaurants within 10 minute walk and just a 5 minute walk to the light rail. (The light rail stops within walking distance of Yad Vashem, among many other places). Wonderful apartment amenities--WIFI in the apartment works great (unlike some other places where I have stayed) and the washer and dryer worked perfectly. Very nice bathrooms and well equipped with soap, toilet paper, paper towels, iron, ironing board, and hair dryer. Our family of four stayed for 9 nights and the spaciousness of the living room and dining area were much appreciated. The owner was extremely helpful in answering my questions throughout our planning for the trip and very hospitable. Wonderful value for the location and amenities.

Great location (15 minute walk to the Kotel, 5 minutes to Yafo, Ben Yehuda and the Mamilla mall.) All was as advertised and photographed. Excellent facilities and heating. The owner was wonderful to deal with, both before and during our visit. I would recommend renting the apartment and hope to do so again on our next visit.

The apartment is in an older building, but well rehabbed and very clean. Having not only a washing machine but also a dryer was a real luxury, and a big benefit in a Jerusalem winter (when things can take a while to dry on the line). The bathrooms were first-rate, as were the furnishings. The location is very convenient to the city center and Old City -- both in easy walking distance. The neighbors, though they speak little English, were lovely. Highly recommended.

MY WIFE AND I AND MY 12 YEAR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER JUST RETURNED FROM SPENDING 2 1/2 WEEKS IN THIS APARTMENT. WE FOUND IT TO BE EXACTLY AS ADVERTISED AND THE PICTURES WERE TOTALLY ACCURATE. THE APT. LOCATION IS FABULOUS! IT IS AN EASY WALK (10-15 MINUTES) TO THE JAFFA GATE AND THE KOTTEL, BEN YEHUDA STREET, AND MEAH SHEARIM. WE WERE ABLE TO WALK TO MOST PLACES AND DID NOT NEED A TAXI OR BUS. WE FOUND THE APARTMENT VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. THE LANDLORD WAS VERY RESPONSIVE TO OUR E-MAILS BEFORE OUR TRIP. SHE WAS VERY HELPFUL AND PLEASANTDURING AND AFTER OUR TRIP. SHE RETURNED OUR SECURITY DEPOSIT PROMTLY. YOU CAN PARK ON THE STREET FROM 6PM TO 8AM FOR NO CHARGE, AND THERE IS A PARKING LOT CLOSE BY THAT IS NOT EXPENSIVE. I WOULD DEFINITLY RECOMMEND STAYING IN THIS APARTMENT, AND IN FACT, PLAN ON STAYING THERE AGAIN ON OUR NEXT TRIP.

When looking for an apartment to stay in Jerusalem for our family of five (2 adults, 3 children) for two weeks in July 2011, we were looking for a "home away from home". This apartment has everything we needed. The location is amazing (5 minute walk to the Jaffa Gate, Mamilla Mall, Yaffa Street, Ben Yehuda St. - 10 minutes to King David Hotel, 15 to the Kotel). We loved having our own nice, clean, fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances (with everything you need), two bathrooms, Air conditioning and full washer and dryer (very efficient and fast too!)! All we did was buy the groceries we needed for our families. Cookies and Juice were waiting for us upon our arrival at the apartment - great after so many hours of traveling abroad. We had something to drink and snack on! The pictures posted are exactly what the apartment looks like. The owner responds to all of your questions (and more) quickly! She makes the process very easy, safe, and comfortable. The building is not new but the apartment is fully renovated and has all the modern amenities you need including WIFI! We rented a car the second week of our stay and parked it on the streets next to the buidling. There is a parking lot nearby. During our stay, friends came to visit and loved it as well. We recommended it to other friends in the USA who also quickly rented it after we left. We have stayed in many apartments throughout the world and this rates as one of the top ones! After a day of touring, driving or walking around Israel, we came to our "home away from home" to rest and get ready for the next day. Upon our return to Israel in the future, we will be staying here again! We look forward to that!

Nice apartment well located close to the Jaffa, New and Damascus Gates of Jerusalem’s Old City. The host Ann is a pleasure to deal with and provides detailed notes on accessing the apartment. No parking on site but inexpensive parking area is close by. A good location from which to explore Jerusalem and other nearby places of interest.

This apartment is very well situated just one block above the Jaffa Gate to the old city. The photos of this apartment are true - it is exactly as pictured. The owner was dedicated to ensuring our stay was as planned and expected. I would not hesitate to recommend staying in this building - the neighbours were friendly and it was wonderful to watch the children coming and going in costumes during Purim. The view was beautiful from the balcony and the many sounds of Jerusalem could clearly be heard - such as the various calls to prayer. Taxi drivers and excursion busses were all familiar with the street the building was on so coming and going was not complicated by having to provide directions in unfamiliar languages. Look no further - if you are coming to Jerusalem - stay here!
Owner response:I am so happy when tenants enjoy their stay in our apartment. The location is really wonderful and when i see how people appreciate it I feel very good. We put alot of effort into making the apartment comfortable and attractive. i spend alot of time answering emails and inquiries. It is very gratifying when people write positive comments and recommend the apartment..

Good chairs, comfortable bed, in nice neighborhood apartment. Central location in Jerusalem, in a walking distance of the old city and close by Ben Yehuda/Zion square shopping area. no better place to experience living in Jerusalem. Kind landlord has given us good help to have a comfortable stay.

My wife and I spent 1 week at this property in Sept 2010 and found it to be just as advertised. The apt was clean and the appearance is just as the photos show on the listing. The apt is well and comfortably furnished. The bed was comfortable (priority for the wife) and the owners went out of their way to ensure all needs would be met upon arrival. They even contact you shortly after arrival to ensure all is well and to offer assistnace if needed. The apt is located in the orthodox area and although we are just everyday Americans we were very comfortable. The neighbors were polite (although not talkative). We felt at ease walking through the neighborhood in the evenings. The view from the balcony is of the Dome of the Rock. The balcony is small with verily room for two to sit however, we found this adequate as we were out and about except for evenings. The apt. is centrally located and is walking distance to the Old City, Great restaurants, mamilla mall, Ben Yahuda street & the Mahuda Market (liitle lengthy but worth the effort). We found a post office close by for money exchange and sim card for the cell phone. We would definately stay here again and recommended to anyone who visits Jerusalem.

This was a perfect place for us and another couple. We are in our late 60s and wanted a comfortable, home-like atmosphere for our two-week trip to Israel and this apartment with two bedrooms/2 baths/washer and dryer/and full kitchen outfitted with the most modern appliances was just made for our needs. The owner was extremely helpful and the apartment was immaculate. It was wonderfully located within easy walking distance to the old city (closest to Jaffa Gate), to Jaffa Road and the Ben Yehudah activity, and the upscale Mamilla Mall with its beautiful shops and variety of restaurants. And for those times when we didn't want to walk, there were frequent taxis we could hail. If you rent a car for any length of time, there is a reasonably priced parking lot nearby, although there is a big hill to climb. Our advice is don't rent a car; take taxis. And our advice about this apartment: don't stay in a hotel....stay here!

We stayed in this rental property for 11 days, and could not have been happier! The location is perfect - close walking distance to both the Old City and the famous Ben Yehudah Street shopping and night life center, as well as easily accessible to bus lines, restaurants, cafes and anything else your heart could desire. There is a nice little grocery store just down the street, with a fresh produce stand next door, where you can pick up just about anything you need for cooking meals in the apartment's full kitchen, which is complete with dishes, utensils, nice pots and pans, and staples and seasonings of every sort. The building is showing its age, but the apartment is very clean and nicelyrennnovated and tastefully decorated with every amenity you could need, including all linens and a washer and dryer. The beds are comfortable, the master bathroom jacuzzi tub for two is awesome, and the apartment is fully air conditioned and heated. This property is a really great value, and one of the best deals in Jerusalem! The owner is gracious, helpful and easy to work with, and our stay was very blessed. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend this property to anyone who wants to spend time in Jerusalem!

This apartment was everything I hoped it would be and more. Beautifully refurnished and tastefully decorated, with excellent air conditioning and a great shower/jacuzzi. It felt immediately like home. Really close to the Old City (and, when you learn a few shortcuts, even closer!), as well as the other areas cited in the description by the owner. The owner, Ann, is wonderful -- helpful, honest, and nice. I remember reading this ad before my trip and thinking "This sounds too good to be true." But it's true. A wonderful rental experience that I recommend fully and heartily.

We absolutely loved the apartment. It is not difficult to locate as the renter sends out very specific directions as well as pictures to help you find your way. If renting is all about location for you, then you cannot find a better property. We had short, easy walks to the Old City (2-3 blocks), to Ben Yehuda (about 5 blocks) and Mamilla Mall very near. Our view from the balcony was spectacular, as shown on the website. We found juice, honeycake and milk for us on our arrival. Having a washer/dryer was a big plus. Finally, in addition to roominess, the beds were wonderfully comfortable. You will enjoy this place!!

We stayed at the place in october 2009 for one week. We were somewhat surprised: Clean, spacious, luxury pots and pans, very nice beds and baths (jaccuzi!). And everything worked! There was no TV, but we couldn't care less. There was a perfect wireless internet connection. The payment a.s.f. and the contact with mrs Goodman went smooth and correct. We really recomment this holiday- apartment to everybody! And yes, you can sit on the balcony, have a cup of tea and look at the Temple Mount. Thanx again and shalom from the Netherlands! We stayed here in October and it was a wonderful place to stay. The location was perfect! We were within walking distance of everywhere we needed to go. We did bring a rental car and found free parking 2 blocks down the street and to the left. The greatest thing about this apt is that it really is an Oasis - very quiet, great views and very comfortable and relaxing. We would definately stay here again. The shopping down on the street with "Lifeline for the Old" was fantastic! There was a grocery down the street about 1 block away. There was a great falafal place 1/2 block down the street. We spent every evening on Ben Yehuda street, which is maybe an 8 minute walk from the apt. We were a couple of blocks away from Jaffa gate. We will definately stay here again.

I very much enjoyed staying at this beautiful apartment. It is very clean, beautifully renovated, and equipped with very modern and up-to-date amenities including a washer/dryer, walk-in shower, separate bath (with Jacuzzi!), and kosher kitchen. The apartment has great light, very nice views, and good air circulation, because it is on a higher floor in the building. There is even a small balcony off the living room which is a very pleasant place to read and relax. Arranging to stay at the apartment with the owners was very straight-forward and uncomplicated. We handled everything very efficiently by telephone and over the internet and then the owner followed up several times during my stay to make sure that everything was going well. I appreciated the follow-up very much.

Great location! The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It came with all linens, towels, shampoo, internet etc. It has a great view of old city from the salon window. It was completely equipped for the kosher traveler upon request and the management ensured that all my needs were met. Stayed for several weeks I look forward to returning, had a great stay. It is not wheel chair accessible, there is no elevator and you need to walk down an incline to get to the building steps.

We enjoyed a wonderful one-week stay in this beautiful apartment. As the listing says, it is a quick walk to the Old City, to shops and restaurants on Jaffa Street, and to the Ben Yehuda pedestrian mall; and only slightly farther to the Mahane Yehuda market. The rest of Jerusalem is easily accessible. As a group of four adults, we mostly took taxis, but buses, and the light rail line scheduled for completion in 2010, are very close by. The apartment itself is quiet, and we felt very much at home when we returned to "our" place at the end of each day.

Outstanding location!1/2 block from The Old City-Yafo Gate and the new Mamila Mall. 1/2 block from Rt 60 (highway into Yerushalayim), 1/2 block to Yafo Road, short walk to Ben Yehuda Street (busses & shopping & restaurants), 15 minute walk to Machne Yehuda. I believe public parking is across the street – we didn’t take a rental car while in Jerusalem, but did walk to the rental car agency to pick one up when leaving. Everything we wanted to see and every place we wanted to go was very close. The apartment is newly renovated inside, and very clean. We liked the combination door lock because we didn't have to worry about who had the keys! We also liked the washer & dryer, the two bathrooms (one for us and one for the children) and, especially, the view of the Temple Mount. It's hard to make a teenager happy but our son preferred this apartment over one we rented on the 10th floor of Wolfson Towers) because it is modern, comfortable, and very close to shopping and The Holy Sites. We prepared our Shabbat meals here and even made potato latkes (we were here for the Shabbos of Hanukkah). It is more spacious than a hotel room but less costly. We were delighted to find fruit juice, milk, coffee, fruit and snack foods waiting for us after our long, exhausting flight to Israel. Making the arrangements and paying for the apartment was easy. I heartily recommend this apartment!
