  We arrive in San Juan on 4/27/2013 and with wonderful directions that Holy had emailed to us that were right on and no difficulties getting to the apartment even though it was dark out side. Holly was very accommodating when requesting locations and driving directions. The apartment is just like she posts clean and very spacious. It was even nice having a clothes line out side for drying clothes and having a sink out side was so handy to have to rinse feet off of sand from the beaches. The kitchen has enough items to cook almost any meal and having a full size refrigerator was great and we were able to make enough ice everyday for our cooler and drink bottles. It was also very convent to have coolers to take to the beach and not have to bring one with us in our luggage. We went to four different beaches near by and there was enough variety in the different beaches to make everyone happy. You could snorkel, boogie board or hunt down sea shells. We took the opportunity to go to Tropical Trails horse back riding which is 5 minutes down the road. The horses there are well cared for and the ride out on the beach was magnificent. The horses are well mannered and cleaned and well fed. There are plenty of stores near by to purchase necessities or pharmacies to purchase anything from crutches to air casts. (inside joke) Renting from Holly and Tom is well worth the visit to the west side of the island. Holly is always there to make your stay memorable, Go ahead and send her a email for a vacation of relaxation.

  I was lucky enough to enjoy my second trip to Aguadilla this past March. On my first trip down I had the opportunity to meet Tom and Holly and I've got two words...Great people! My second trip I chose to rent the apt and was very pleased. They were awesome hosts and were very helpful with ideas about where to go and what sights to see. The beaches are so close it was a quick drive and your basking in the sun! The nice private yard was perfect to relax in the shade after a long day at Jobos. Thank you Tom & Holly! I cant wait to come back!

  We arrived to Piso del Sol a few days before new years eve 2012, and we could not of gotten a better arrival: great hosts who are willing to help with anything and everything, perfect weather, two solid swells over the week period and a perfect apartment to stay in! This apartment is from 5 minutes drive to the closest beach, and about 25 minutes drive to the furthest beach, so basically it is right in the middle of where you want to be! The apartment was perfect, everything functions, the beds are awesome, there is plenty of cooking equipment and the whole place is super clean. Outside of the apartment is great as well, there is a BBQ, a lovely deck, outside hose / shower as well as chairs, eskys, snorkels and mask and other things you can borrow and use at the beach. It is fully equipped. This place is perfect for groups between 2 - 6 people, from young surfers to families to older people. It caters for everyone. I cannot speak highly enough of this apartment and it's owners, Holly and Tom (who are awesome), this is the only place I will stay on my next trips to Puerto Rico, and I recommend it to everyone!   First and foremost, the price of staying in Holly's condo was affordable for us as college students . My boyfriend Mic and I would like to take time to thank Holly for her hospitality. The place we stayed in was very cozy and definitely calm then for a bit we did almost not want to go out. Holly's condo has everything. My boyfriend and I cooked our food with Holly's outdoor grill 3 consecutive nights. 2-3 beaches are nearby and we tend to go to Crashboat Beach--17 minutes away from Holly's condo.

  We just returned from our first vacation in Puerto Rico. It was wonderful! We traveled around the island and then landed at this little apartment for the last few days. We loved the area with it's beautiful beaches. The apartment was perfect for the 2 of us. We left the kids at home but would love to return and bring them! The apartment was very well equipped. Holly and Tom were very friendly, welcoming and VERY helpful in giving us tips and directions. We truly got so much more out of our stay in the area because of her knowledge of the area and willingness to share. The apartment was VERY clean! We didn't cook much but the kitchen is well equipped if you want to. As a couple people have mentioned, there is a nearby airport and the jet in the night woke us. The fans definitely helped block out the night noises. It was nice and cool and the lack of air conditioning wasn't a big deal at all - it actually feels fresh to have the windows open. The breeze is wonderful! We had a relaxing, wonderful stay here!

  My husband and I just returned from probably the best vacation we have ever taken as empty- nesters! Holly & Tom's apartment is everything advertised and MUCH more. It is clean, spacious (only 2 of us but would comfortably fit a family of 6) and well furnished. Very nice to have fully equipped kitchen and bathroom amenities provided....great home-like touches. No a/c necessary at this time of year, day or night...cool tropical nightly breeze required a light cover for sleep. The well-manicured large yard with indigenous flora and fauna, great deck with barbecue, table with plenty of seating and fruit trees was truly amazing. We were close to several beautiful beaches, shopping, grocery store, restaurants and golf course. Holly has a binder of attractions/restaurants, a list of accurate and clear directions for many local spots and info about the apartment. She is quite an organized host! Having all beach equipment at your disposal is an added plus when traveling. We walked most mornings before leaving for our fun-filled days. The neighborhood is quiet (other than family dogs in yards greeting you) and safe with many friendly neighbors. This apartment was PERFECT to return to after a full day! Holly and Tom are just great people...friendly and available to help with any aspect of your stay/vacation. We would most definitely recommend PisoDelSol as a vacation rental!!!

  the place was cute, very clean and we felt at home. The yard was great with picnic area and grill and clothesline for towels and bathing suits. It was nice after coming in on a 3AM flight to wake up the next morning to have some basics kitchen and bath supplies provided. We enjoyed having some extras that we don't normally get in PR... beach chairs, coolers, snorkeling equipment. If you are a light sleeper I suggest using the box fans provided ....blowing fans helped block out noise at night. Holly was an gracious host and you can't beat having the option of laundry service.

  Holly was super hospitable! We had a great time staying at this apartment. The whole no a/c thing was not an issue because there was a nice sea breeze. It was very peaceful and really close to all the beaches in aguadilla and isabela. The econo was 2 min down the road. Holly also has a notebook full of local directions on how to get to the beaches and waterfalls in the area. We had an excellent stay at piso del sol!

  Finally I am making the time to write some well deserved reviews about Piso Del Sol in Aguadilla/Isabela. I must say that this place is a lot more than what is described on the listing, specially when you add the genuine love by Holly, who cares enough to call us beforehand about arrival/check in time, where to buy our groceries and the best directions. I must mention that I share my great life/times with an OCD wife that is obsessed with smells, color coodination and cleanliness, this was the perfect setting for her( hussshhhh!! I even caught her walking barefooted around the unit...lmao!!!). Seriously, the property is very well kept, clean, beautiful and affordable. Holly was always available to answer any questions about what to do, where to buy tips and great advise to help you avoid wasting valuable vacation time. The restaurants in the area are all great and inexpensive, specially Happy Bellies by Jobos Beach, Brisas del Atlantico and Jimmy's Pizza on the main road to Gate 5. God willing, we are going back to Puerto Rico in a couple of years and we will definitely make our way back to Piso Del Sol.   I just got back from a two weeks vacation in Puerto Rico, I stay at Piso Del Sol I met Holly a really nice person I couldn't meet Tom he was in the states but Holly was really helpful and friendly, I just got back yesterday and Im already thinking of going back to Puerto Rico if I go back I would like to stay again at Piso Del Sol the apartment was clean it was a nice place to stay a quiet area sometimes theres a plane that make a loud noise cause the house is close to the airport in Borinquen but is just one plane and that dont bother me, I can deal with it, there no A/C in the apartment but to sleep I was comfortable with fans and in the morning there was cool breeze coming thru the windows, I will definetely recommend this Property to anybody I went with my Mom to Puerto Rico and she like the apartments cause she had a kitchen and clean and she told me that Holly was real nice Person she couldnt talk to Holly Mom dont know english but she could tell how friendly Holly was I got to give Holly a 5 star rating terrific host she makes you feel at Home
