About the owner: Hello and welcome to our Carmel beach house. Back in 1973 I was lucky enought to win a spot in the High School All Star Jazz Band and got to play at the Monterey Jazz Festival. During a break, the band got a chance to visit Carmel, and I thought, 'man, if I ever could afford it, I would love to have a place right on the beach.' The rest, is history.
Why the Owner Chose Carmel By the Sea:
My wife, Deborah, and I love to watch our children play in the surf, make a campfire on the beach, and just listen to the waves from our upstairs bedroom. We hope you enjoy our house as much as we do.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
One Ocean is 'The' location in Carmel. Everybody in town either knows the house from our metal sculpture on our fence, or has passed by on the way to the beach. The people that rent One Ocean often can't believe how close they are to the water; especially as they drive down Ocean -- all the way to the bottom. 'You mean, this is where we are staying?'
