The Silver Sands Outlet Mall is a vacation in it’s own right & is just across the street from Edgewater. However, with over 100 great stores to shop in you might have trouble getting it all back to your condo!! Find great shopping at Polo Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor Factory Store, Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica, Crabtree & Evelyn, Dooney & Bourke, Coach & Saks Off 5th - just to mention a few. When you need to pause for nourishment chose from Panera Bread, Cheeseburger in Paradise or Carrabba's Italian Grill.
More great shopping is to had at the Destin Commons outdoor mall , Enjoy such great stores as Abercrombie & Fitch, Ann Taylor Loft, Banana Republic, Life is Good & Maui Nix Surf Shop to list a few. Dine at the Famous Hard Rock Café, Panera Bread, Sushi Siam or Blue Point Fish Club. More than just shopping the Destin Commons Center Plaza offers a soft-play kids playground and a 49-head pop fountain. Pick up lunch from Moes & watch the kids enjoy the pop fountain! Community activities and entertainment are also held here through the year. Try out one of their newest attractions at the Village, the zip line. You will zing over the lagoon for a great view.
When I think of Grande Boulevard, great food & fun comes in mind. From Mitchells Fish Market, Tommy Bahamas', Cantina Laredo, Flemings or PF Chang's, you will have a great time dining with friends and family along this great Boulevard. If your up for more shopping... you will find Billabong, Brooks Brothers Country Club, Coldwater Creek, J. Crew-at-the-beach, Sunglass Hut, Sanctuary & J Jill.
The Harborwalk Village is one of our area's newest area's. Here you will find great sunsets in almost any direction. Enjoy lunch or dinner at Pat O' Briens or Harry T's. For a special dinner out go to Commanders Palace. I have been told it is out of the world. While you are watching the fishing fleet come in at the end of the day time seems to go at a slower relaxed pace here somehow.
Destin, Florida is known as the ”World’s Luckiest Fishing Village,” & boasts being home to the largest fishing vessel fleet in the state of Florida. Fish from the beach or boat. If you do not want to bring your boat, one of Destin’s many charter boats would love the opportunity to take you out for full or half day excursions. We loved staying here. It was the best stocked kitchen of any condo we have ever stayed in. All new good quality cookware. Everything you needed and more. The condo, building and grounds were very clean. Full size washer & dryer in unit. Great view from the balconies. Would definitely stay here again. Great location right on the beach. Pools were nice. The only downside was the bathtubs were probably the original ones when the building was built. However, they were clean, just dated.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children.

The place is impressive, the unit is splendid! The room is great, with modern designs, fresh living area and a lovely spot to loosen up and wind down. Everything you need in a home is already there. I can cook in their very spacious kitchen, which is really great! The beach and the pools are only a few steps from the condo that made our stay even more pleasurable. The restaurants, grocery stores and outlet mall are just in close proximity. It really is a perfect place to spend time with families and friends, to gaze at the sunrise and enjoy the sunset and play on the sand altogether. My kids truly loved and enjoyed our wonderful stay. We could live here for years…hehhe :) thanks so much for the amazing and superb vacation, it is worth spending indeed…love it!!! We will definitely go back to this place and lodge in this unit again :)

We had a wonderful 4-day stay in this condo unit. Building property was clean, quiet, well-maintained and close to everything---outlet mall, grocery stores, restaurants were just walking distance. This condo unit, which was newly renovated, was spacious, very clean and tastefully decorated. It had everything the listing description said. We enjoyed the breathtaking view of the ocean and swimming pools from the balcony that stretched from the living room to the master's bedroom. We are surely coming back and will stay in this unit again.

We stayed at this unit from Feb 17th to Feb 21, 2011. We love the view from our balcony, and the unit has been remodeled with new kitchen cabinet, granite countertop, bathroom cabinets, new furniture etc.... We enjoyed every minute of our time there. In the morning, the sun light from the ocean would reflect into our living room and master bedroom. It was a wonderful way to wake up in the morning. The unit is located on the 15th floor, and there are only 4 units on our floor, and it gave us a lot of privacy. The walkway to the front door has a great view of the sunset, and we love being so close to the supermarket, Silver Sands Mall and other stores. The swimming pools were great, and our 2 children aged 9 and 12 loved using the pool. This unit was great and we are coming back again.
