We had a really good time at "A Wee Teepee"!! The photos do not do the place justice at all. My only complaint would be the scary driveway LOL (once you go down it once you'll be fine not as bad as it looks)! Great for a couples getaway would loved to have a few more days to just hang out at cabin. Very cozy and romantic! Would recommend to couples or small family!

Love this cabin, it was perfect for me and my boyfriend. It was very intimate and cozy. The fireplace, the hot tub and spiral staircase had to be our favorite things in the cabin. We only got to stay one night of our two night get away. There was an issue with the hot water heater and we had to be moved to "Away From It All" cabin. The owner was wonderful in dealing with the issue. The description of the property was spot on, the phots portrayed it well, it was well maintained and clean. I would definately recommend this property to others and I would stay with these owners again. We really enjoyed the Dixie Stampede the night we stayed at this cabin. We stayed the night here on 1-28-12

First Family Vacation

It was a little chilly, but nice and Sunny. We lounged around, played board games (thanks for having them here), make a gingerbread House, porch swing...great for relaxing, Hot tub, ate and ate, went to the aquarium. We really enjoyed spending time with our little one (2 months old) Thank you for providing the Pack n play... one less thing to bring.

Spent two days with our girls and then took them home and spent two days alone. (Glad we were close enough to do this) Went shopping at Tangers, Ate out, Wonder works, Titanic & Gift shops. Went to Cades Cove. (we see something new every time we go)Saw 2 beautiful fat racoons that came to the door of the cabin wanting food. Fritos & Popcorn....We really enjoyed them.. We recommend the Wee Teepee Cabin. Enjoyed spending time together and watching our girls enjoy playing games here @ Wee Teepee

We were married 6 months ago in Pigeon Forge and came for Darin's Birthday. The fall weather was very nice. We mostly just relaxed and enjoyed each others company. We did go back to the wedding chapel were we wer married. We saw the first night of the Dixie Stampede Christmas show. We really enjoyed the Hot tub and the Fireplace!!! Love this cabin. WOW!!

The weather was perfect! We went to Tangers Outlet, Cupids, Huck Finns Catfish, Wonder works, walked aroung Gatlnburg & Hillbilly Golf. We really enjoyed hanging out at the cabin and enjoyed the quiet & the HOT TUB! We kinda kept to ourselves and enjoyed cooking at the cabin and each others company. Great place to Honeymoon!

We came for our Honeymoon! We hiked Mt Conte & Clingman's Dome, drove to Cherokee, go carts, a little shopping and enjoyed resting after the wedding stress. Mt. Conte is super strenuous, but the view is amazing & it is so rewarding! This was a great cabin! We loved the Hot tub & saved a lot of $ cokking here for ourselves.

We went to Cherokee, Santa Land, Gatlinburg, Aquarium, Star Car Museum and at at the Hard Rock Cafe. Enjoyed Dollywood, the track and shopping. So glad we were able to locate the new owners. It was hot and humid, but it was hotter at home... Hiked Abrahms Falls, Cades Cove, spent a day in Gatlinburg, Went Horseback riding, Shopped, ziplines, Old Mill, Dixie Stampede, Ober Gatlinburg, Pancake House and relaxed in the Hot tub in the evenings. We enjoyed seeing bears at Cades cove and returning to a clean cabin & Hot Tubbing at night!

THIS CABIN WAS PERFECT**** The weather was perfect. Warm & Sunny. We ate at Bullfish, Applebarn, Fudd-Ruckers, Mad Dog's Creamery, Uncle Buck's Grill, visited Cades cove, Wonderworks and spent way to much money at Bass Pro shop...Special Highlights were seeing a momma bear with 3 cubs at Cades Cove and celebrating the beginning of our lives together.

It was cool and windy the first two days, then was sunny and 60 -70 the second 2 days. We ate way to much!! Went to Ober Gatlinburg, rode the tram, rode the Alpine Slide, shopped at Tangers, go carts and played may rounds of mini golf. So nice to come back to the "Wee Teepee" and relax in the Hot Tub at the end of the day!! Recommend the Apple Farmhouse, Cades Cove, Knife works and the Bass Pro Shop. Really enjoyed spending time with the family. Thanks for having us at the "Wee Teepee"

We Honeymooned! - Ate a lot of cake...lol Enjoyed the Dixie Stampede, Bennet's -great salad bar, Tony Roma's - Best ribs ever!! We enjoyed spending time together before going back to school and work and starting our life together. We love the cabin. It was very cozy. It rained at night. We spent the last 2 days in the cabin. We flew in from Florida. The weather went from Cold & Hail and in the 30's the beginning of the week to hot and in the 80's by the end of the week. We spent most of our time in the Great Smoky Mtn Park. Enjoyed everything about the mountains. Cades Cove is a must see. Enjoyed the scenery & the quietness of the cabin. The Hot Tub was G.S.M.N.P.

Fav Moment- being back in the same chalet we came to on our Honeymoon - 10 years ago! Tony Roma's is good and also would recomment the Old Mill Restaurant. Enjoyed the Titanic Museum. It was very cold and there was snow on the ground. We ate at a lot of great places!! Enjoyed shopping in Gatlinburg and relaxing in the Hot Tub!! Henry's Steakhouse in Gatlinburg is very good. Ask for the seats overlooking the creek. Busted my Louisiana Born Behind in the snow...haha We watched the playoffs and we made it up Ski Mountain in Gatlinburg in the snow!

My husband and I came here for our wedding anniverary and loved it!!! We had never been so it was a lot of fun.. We didn't spend to much time at the cabin because we were out exploring around Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but when we were at the cabin it was very peaceful!! Everything was very clean and neat when we arrived. The ONLY bad thing that I could think of was the water smelled like boiled eggs...but it wasn't a big deal so we made no complaints..and i know that kinda stuff happens sometimes maybe in the process of cleaning it or something I am not sure...but it wasn't a big deal at all!! We are already talking about wanting to go back for a much longer visit...and when we do...this will def. be a cabin we will try to get first...

Owner response:Dealing with Well water in the mountains can be a challange. Since your stay, we have added a water softener, a water filtration system and an aerator in the well. Much needed Relaxation

The weather was great! Our last night, loved listening to the rain...light shower. We did most of our eating in the cabin and went on several picnic's. Loved hiking and made it to the top of Grotto Falls. Favorite moments included enjoying a glass of wine while swinging outside and enjoying it being silent. We will be back! Thanks!

This cabin is perfect! It is the first time we stayed in one and we will definitely be back. The location is awesome: it is secluded and quiet and nestled in the trees, yet only 5 minutes away from P. Forge and anything you need. We think it is perfect size for for 2, but 4 may be a little tight (you should be really comfortable with the other 2 if you go as couples). Hot tub was amazing, grill awesome, decks everywhere, bed was as comfortable as home - it has everything you need. Everything. Raccoon friends are a treat. Even reading the guest book was enjoyable (everybody loves the raccoons!) You can trust the pics, descriptions and everything posted about this cabin by the owners. Again - we will be back! Our stay was 9/30/10 - 10/4/10. Husband and wife trip - only our second one without our now 20 year old! Thank you for having a very reasonably priced place for people to enjoy. It is worth it!

It's nice to get away and just be together. Thankful that the Racoon's must be on Vacation too! lol We really enjoyed our stay. Staying in a cabin was a first for our daughter. She was shocked that we were "out in the sticks" who Know's???Guess whe's a city girl too!! We had much fun here. When you need a vacation, there's "Wee Teepee" Thanks for sharing your cabin. We loved playing all the games that you have stashed! It's like you guys have thought of everything!!

All the people in this area are so nice and just so helpful. We went to many attractions and places to eat. What could be better than being on vacation and not having to work for a whole week! We wanted to get out of Ohio for awhile with the girls. We did some sight seeing, Cades cove, Cherokee village, wonder works, golfing, magic show, mirror maze, race cars, and lots of shopping! We really enjoyed just driving thru the mountains. It was nice to be out of Ohio with the family. They had a very nice time. It was their first trip to Tennessee. We will be back soon!

The mountains here are Breath taking! Do not miss the Apple Barn. What an Experience!! Rosco the racoon performed for us---"Walk in circle & sit" I think the guests have been training him...lol He enjoys being on the porch day and night. Thank you Preskitt Family! It has definetly been a wonderful experience out here in a cabin surrounded by all this beautiful wilderness. All we see at home is alligators, it has been a nice change! My husband and I stayed at the Wee Tee Pee the last week in August to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary and to catch up on some work. The peace & serenity of the cabin, as well as the WiFi, allowed us to knock out a week's worth of work in just 2 days. The cabin was absolutely precious and exactly as described & pictured. We loved the hot tub (spotless!) - especially that it was in a nice sized screened room so we could enjoy it rain or shine. We had our coffee & breakfast our there every day, soo nice. We had a lovely candlelit dinner out on the deck one night that beat any 5-star restaurant around. We were really appreciative of the fact that the large gas grill had a nice full tank of propane, and we intended to use it more than once, just never got around to it. The owner has taken great care to decorate in the "Tee Pee" theme, and it just really added to the feeling that we were tucked away alone in the beautiful Smoky Mtns. She has also put together a very thoughtful & informative book of everything you might possibly want to know about the area. The beds (we tried both, just for kicks :) were very comfortable with plenty of big fluffy pillows. We slept until noon nearly every day we were there and that is something I've never been able to do! The kitchen was adorable and fully stocked with everything needed to prepare full meals. Jane was great ~ she made the entire booking process smooth & easy, and kindly provided us (again) with directions when we forgot to print & bring them along. We've stayed in lots of cabins in the area, but the Tee Pee stands out to us because it is every bit as nice as the others, yet the price is AMAZING - hundreds below the others! It's considered a "budget" cabin, yet it has all the amenities of the more expensive places. (We got a budget cabin once from one of the larger rental companies, & when we called about the 1/2 dozen wasp nests INSIDE the place, & the dripping ceilings, were told, "well it's a budget cabin, sorry." Basically, "too bad". This place was NOTHING like that. It was very clean, cozy, no leaks, no bugs. We try to stay in a new cabin each time we go to the mountains, but we will be back to this one. Again, for everything you get, the price just cannot be beat! The location is perfect - very easy to get anywhere you need or want to go. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this little gem to book it! We will most certainly contact Jane first when we make plans for our next getaway.

Best Place for a Vacation!

We've been to the smokies several times over the years. We love it here. It was HOT....We got to see the RACOON!! My favorite place this trip was Roaring Fork Motor Trail. Turn @ light #8 in Gatlinburg and follow the signs. It's Beautiful! Saw 2 Bear cubs at Cades Cove & several Turkey's & Deet. Enjoyed grilling out at the cabin. We used the Kabob skewers from the kitchen drawer and made steak and shrimp kabobs and a sushi platter. Yummmmy. Cabin is a great value. You will enjoy....

Racoon was here to greet us when we arrived! We enjoyed some much needed R & R at the cabin! Enjoyed the Applewood Farmhouse ad the Skylift. Great Gift shop at the top. Wonderful time....We will be back!

We enjoyed the cabin although we didn't stay in it to much - too much to see anddo. Great location to get where you wanted to go. It was my first time to the Smokies, a trip we will always remember. We saw 2 bears at the fall's which was wonderful. The last night at te cabin we had 2 racoons visit...Pretty neat!!! Loved the Hot tub

I finally got a weekend alone with the one I love with no interuptions. Nice weather for Go Karts, Ober Gatlinburg and we also ate at the Hard Rock Cafe. Perfect time!

The hot tub was fabulous. We came to reconnect and what a perfect place for that. We visited cades cove, Apple Barn and just spent a lot of time alone at the cabin. Much needed get away! Thanks!
