CALYPSO - Fully remodeled! Cute and Cozy little beach house just 15 seconds (walking) from the sugar white sands of the emerald coast! This Destin vacation rental is just a minute's drive from the silver sands outlet mall and numerous restaurants!
Floor plan - all one level -
Florida room on the front of the home with a porch swing and dining space for 4. Walk in to your living room with 47 inch Plasma and seating for 6. To your right you will find the kitchen and laundry area (stack washer and dryer)
The west end of the home contains your full hall bathroom and master bedroom w/ king bed and flat screen tv. There is a nice bunk room as well with a half bath another flat screen television. these bunks are both double size (large enough for adults)
Calypso is pet friendly so bring the pooch along for the ride! (small dogs under 35 lbs)

We had a very nice stay, and plan to come again probably next year. The young man who did the chairs and umbrellas was extremely nice and cooperative with positioning. Also this is the first time we have experienced the person staying at the beach for a lot of the day to see if there were any needs. Much better than our last experience with an employee of that company. Overall the Calypso was a nice house, just the right size for two, and we will be back!Did you find this review helpful? We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach, and Calypso had all the extras that I would not have been able to pack or remember (wine bottle opener, food chopper, etc). The staff was able to accomodate our early arrival and quickly get us a code to use for early check in. We loved having a washer/dryer unit. Only thing that would have made it better is if you had a backup hair dryer (even if just at your general office for those important forgotten items). Loved the screened in porch, when we werent on the beach we were sitting here. Close proximity to the beach and a nice quiet street. When I saw the pictures of the walkway over to the beach I didnt realize from that photo how close it was to the home. Shopping and restaurants are practically at the end of the street. The house was very clean and when someone took my beach chairs they sent someone right over to correct that problem. I would definitely recommend this home especially if you have small pets.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, families with young children, adventure seekers.
