Montecito is the place to be. Great schools and property values!! It's quaint, boutique shops, great restaurants, and the friendliest local people are a few reasons we were attracted to the area. Also, from a real estate/business point of view, we knew our home would increase its value for years to come.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The house and grounds are amazing! The beautiful gourmet kitchen, top line finishes from granite to faux walls, the vanishing edge pool and spa, and the oversized rooms are comfortable and relaxing. It's a wonderful home to enjoy a family vacation, a special occasion, or a romantic get away! The outdoor seating and entertaining areas all have views of ocean, mountains, or both. You feel like you are looking out over Italy! The landscaping is meticulous and well maintained. Our guests can enjoy a stroll to the Orchard to pick tangerines, lemons, avocados, grapefruit, apples and much more. It's a wonderful place to create some everlasting memories.

My husband and I have been bringing our family to CA on vacation for many years. When we found Santa Barbara and Montecito we knew "someday" when the time was right, we would buy a home here. That time is now. We love the area, the friendly and happy people, the weather, of course, and the small town connection that is felt throughout the community. We enjoy traveling,cooking, golfing, hiking, walks on the beach, a stroll through the Village or downtown Santa Barbara, and the authentic Mexican food. Our family loves to come visit because the house is like no other house we've owned. We love to personally welcome our guests and meet their families who stay at our home. We enjoy reading their comments in the Guest Book and learning about the memories they created during their stay.

What a spectacular location-after a week we still can't believe the amazing views! In addition to just soaking up the views and sun by the pool we hiked, kayaked in the sea caves of Santa Cruz, visited a winery, and the Mission. For our two sons who are in the midst of their summer training for the upcoming cross country season Las Ventanas was a spectacular base camp to run their 80+ miles...the weather was perfect!! Thank you so much and all our best!

Our family of 12 came for a weekend that we will never forget. Gathering from Georgia, Colorado, Michigan and Wyoming, what a blessing to cook together, laugh, swim and sun together and to rejoice in the marriage of our son. Having rented several properties in Montecito over the years, nothing comes close to "Las Ventanas". It was a perfect getaway for such long travels. We enjoyed every moment of our 2 month stay and our only regret is that is has to come to an end! We felt at home here and will always have fond memories of our magical time on top of the mountains!

Our family, including our three teenagers and 10 year old, arrived at this beautiful mountainside estate under the cover of darkness, not knowing what to expect. Stepping outside the next morning, the panoramic views took our breath away. The rugged mountains, rolling hills covered with lush vegetation, and the deep blue color of the Pacific Ocean was a site we will never forget. Every direction from anywhere in the house was natural beauty. Looking down over the valley was a pair of red-tailed hawks circling above. We couldn't help but feel we'd been transported to the Mediterranean countryside. Why travel to Italy or France? Montecito's cool ocean breezes, blue skies, and natural beauty create a perfect environment to relax and recharge without the long flights. We particularly enjoyed the various habitats around the property, the jacuzzi and pool overlooking the Ocean to the cozy barbecue pit area flanked by spectacular mountain views. We felt like we were staying in our own private resort!! We definitely look forward to a return visit in the near future.

"We can't think of a better place for a family vacation than your magical Tuscan Villa on top of the world! Every experience one can imagine is possible here. Cozy talks and games by the fire, delicious soaks in the spa with a million stars overhead, walks to the citrus orchard to pick oranges for fresh-squeezed juice, amazing meals from the gourmet kitchen, warm bright days with dazzling panoramic vistas, surreal views of the fog from so high above!
