The Hilton Head Beach Villas is one of the oldest complexes on the island and has been scrupulously maintained. It has just finished a complete exterior renovation with new paint, roofs, decking and railings. We now have a security gate which gives us peace and quiet.
Total area is 6 acres giving it a very low density with a large grassy courtyard where your family can have outdoor activities. The pool and baby pool are located here with many lounge chairs for sunbathing. A new security gate should be in place sometime in 2009 which will give even more privacy.
Our unit directly faces the ocean with two decks overlooking the beach and dunes. If you look to the south you can see the ships coming and going from Savannah.
The main floor with the living room (with TV), dining area and kitchen is three feet wider than most of the other units providing room for an island serving counter between the kitchen and dining area and more seating in the living room.
The master bedroom upstairs (also with TV) has a queen size bed and its own deck facing the beach while the second upstairs bedroom has twin beds. Both have a private bath.
The ground floor has the third bedroom with a moveable partition separating it from the family room which has a third TV, VCR and DVD player. There is also a day bed for one extra sleeper. Outside is the patio with picnic table and charcoal grill.
