Hale Kamaole condominiums are in such high demand because of the great location in South Kihei, which is the sunniest and driest spot on Maui.
Besides the best weather on the Island, the complex is unique as it's not overbuilt and overrun with tourists, but has all of the amenities of the larger complexes.
There are 2 pools in the complex, and the lower pool is right outside our sliding glass door to the lanai. There is also a tennis court on property, as well as a community bar-b-que, with 5 bar-b-que stations.
The kitchen is fully equipped to cook any meal, and there are also many great restaurants within walking distance.
Directly across the street, you'll find Kamaole Beach 3, which is one of the best beaches on Maui! You can snorkel, body surf, boogie board, or just relax, all just across the street.
The Master Bedroom sleeps two with a King Size Bed, and there is also a pull-out couch that is really quite comfortable. There is a washer and dryer inside the unit, which is a huge bonus!
The unit is constantly being updated, and is very comfortable.

We had two problems with our stay here. One was the security person cleaning up the cans and bottles at 4am. We thought it must be a homeless person looking for cans for money and we were shocked to see the security guy out there making the noise. Second were the people up stairs They banged closet doors and all hours of the night and wore very noisy shoes back and forth early every morning. We joked that there were ghosts upstairs because the noise was really at all hour of the night. The unit was very clean and really well equiped. So nice to have frying pans that don't stick. Would probably rent this unit again
