Great location & lovely cottage

My husband and I were coming off a long time of working straight and needed a getaway for some much needed rest and relaxation. We found this cottage on Vrbo and were right away drawn to how close it was to town but still with a private patio and ambiance. We checked in with our beloved pug (yes they really are dog friendly!). It exceeded our exceptions. The cottage was beautifully decorated and the owners popped over with a bottle of wine to welcome us. The area is amazing, The shaw festival has some top notch plays, the wineries (especially Pellar Estates) has some very memorable wine & meals, LOVED Stratus winery for a day trip, very cool place. Throughly enjoyed the bike trail for long walks with the dog. The best part? Being able to wake up every morning and walk into town, grab a cup of coffee and walk down to the waterfront park. Renewal at it's best!

We spent an absolutely lovely week at the cottage in July and could have easily stayed another. It is charming, spotless and comfortable and has everything you might need for a stay, including wonderful hosts. It is just a block from main street so you would think that it would be busier but it was perfect - a great spot from which to plan our trips down the Niagara Parkway, jaunts to Fort George, local wineries, shopping, restaurants, and golf at the Niagara Golf Course. And it's hard to beat the sounds of the caleches casually making their way down the street on a summer's eve. Can't wait to return!

My husband, daughter and I spent a wonderful weekend at this hidden little gem. This beautifully decorated cottage felt like home the second we walked through the door. The cottage had all the conveniences you could want, not to mention that it was a hop, skip and a jump away from the main street where within minutes we were exploring cute cafes, wine shops and unique stores. The highlight for us, though, was enjoying a nice glass of wine in the cottage, snuggled by the wood buring fire. We will definitely be returning for more relaxing weekend getaways at this beautiful home. Thank you!

Perfect Vacation at the Town Cottage

My family and I stayed at the town cottage for four nights and it was amazing! We felt comfortable the second we walked in the door. It is such a cute place and ideal for a relaxing get-a-way. The pictures of this cottage are great, but it is even better in person. It is modern, incredibly clean, and affordable. We cooked in three nights and went out for a nice dinner our last night. Everything we needed was there for us. The owners were wonderful and offered great advice. We visited wineries one day, which were beautiful and close to the cottage. We visited the breathtaking falls and took an adventurous ride on the maid of the mist the next day. We rented bikes and rode through the beautiful town and even visited Fort George. The lovely walk into town is no more than 5 minutes, which made shopping and ice cream trips very convenient. My family and I would recommend this cottage to anyone. We were more than pleased with our trip and could not have been happier with the Town Cottage.

Wonderful Home-Like Setting Full of Convenience!

My mother and I enjoyed a wondeful stay at the Town Cottage. At 86 my mother has some mobility issues and the accommodations on one floor and the beautiful patio for relaxing really suited our needs. All the Niagaa-on-the-Lake amenities, including the shows, were in easy walking distance. We both enjoyed the home-like setting and the convenience of making our own meals - not that we didn't enjoy all of the decadent offerings of Niagara including a wonderful meal at the River Bend Inn. There was lots of helpful information on hand which helped up plan our days. I would highly recommend the Town Cottage for anyone who is looking for the town at their doorstep but a bit of a home-like sanctuary to relax.

My friend and I stayed at the Town Cottage for four days, and had a great experience. The place is neat and stylish, and has just the things you'd like to have for a short stay. We especially enjoyed the enclosed patio where we used the gas grill and ate meals on the outdoor table. The place is one block from the main street and two from the water. It's totally quiet in a lovely residential neighborhood. The owners live very close by and were quite helpful without being at all intrusive. We'd come back, and will, without hesitation.

My husband and I stayed at The Cottage on April 3rd and 4th---a glorious Easter weekend.We have been to NOTL many times and staying at The Cottage was a new experience. We loved it---extremely clean;appliances and bedding and towels were all of good quality and it had all the extras such as ironing board,iron, coffee maker etc.It felt like "home " each time we returned from our adventures. We took many enjoyable walks and saw the first play of the season, Harvey, which was light and enjoyable. We appreciated Tony's suggestions for restaurants and went to Tony Deluca's Country restaurant in the Shopper's Drug Mart Mall,close byl on Highway 55. We have eaten at his nearby resraurant The Olde Winery and we were just as pleased with his new one. Also we toured many winieries and again followed Tony's suggestion of Ravine Winiery---the onion soup was wonderful and we purchased coffee, bread and cheese. Town Cottage

The town cottage is adorable. The description is completely accurate and the photos do not do it justice. The cottage was extrememly clean and well kept. The location is awesome - walking just steps to the quaint European village of Niagara on the Lake and the the little shops, pubs and restaurants. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to enjoy a weekend or week away. We loved the Angel Inn (great food) and the Irish Harp (great music); and of course the many wineries in the area. We'll definately return.
