  We rented the unit after spending a week in Maui. The facility is immaculate. Landscaping, pools, and unit itself pristine. We were pleased to find an elevator to take up our things to the second floor. After running around Maui, we enjoyed to peace and quite, looking out over the golf course. Besides having the best weather on the Big Island, the area is very safe and private. We took a day to drive on the "Saddle Rd over to Hilo, (great drive) and visited Volcano House and Jagger Museum. A nice lunch at Pesto in Hilo topped off a perfect day. . Other day trips included Kona Coffee plantations, Place of Refuge Historical Park, snorkling in A'Bay, and golf. The adjacent resorts offer big resort amenities, but the condo offers upscale experience and privacy. Oversize kitchen and appliances invite you to eat in. We loved the Viking BBQ on the deck overlooking golf course..

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, sightseeing.

  Location, Location, Location Cleanliness Location Property condition Tina M recommends this vacation rental Very beautiful unit with all the amenities. It's fun to sit on the lanai and watch the golfers. Comfy beds. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. The pool got a little noisy with some rowdy kids but we just went to the beach instead! 4 days

  Overall, we had a nice stay at Waikoloa L-23. We stayed ten days and it would have been nice if they gave us more toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner and kleenex. Manager Responded on 1/9/2012 Thanks so much for your feedback. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay. As we state in our confirmation email and instructions, we provide a "starter pack" of toiletries and paper goods. Once you are comfortably settled, you are on your own to ascertain whether or not you need more for the duration of your stay. Unlike a hotel, we do not provide ongoing refills. This may be one of the down sides of renting a condo, but we hope that the many conveniences outweigh this small inconvenience. Renting a place that is yours alone, complete with room to spread out, kitchen, privacy, in-house laundry facilities, etc., is very different than paying premium price for a compact hotel room. 10 days

  We want you to know how much we appreciated your help with the arrangements for our vacation on the Big Island. We are still talking about the wonderful time we had during our stay at the Waikoloa Beach Villa L23, November 14-19, 2011. We enjoyed everything about the accommodations; very clean and comfortable. The pool was in close proximity to our unit. We were pleased to have all the necessary supplies for our comfort. Shopping areas were conveniently located within walking distance. When we saw the picture of the lanai with the grill and all, we hoped it would look “something like that”, and it was even better than we hoped! Thank you again and be assured we will recommend your services to our family and friends. 5 days

  January 2010 This was our second visit to Hawaii (Kona area), we have yet to be disappointed. This was our first stay at the resorts and we met up with 4 other couples staying in them as well for the first time. We would highly recommend this location; be-it the drive to Kona is a little far, the scenery makes it worth while. The shops in the resort area are excellent. The report is VERY clean, every where. We are coming back again probably next year, we will stay at the resort once again.

  The Condo was so nice. The grounds are lush and well maintained. The Climate is perfect 80 every day no clouds we did not even need air conditioner with the nice breeze. It perfect location to explore the north end of the island . We spent 16 days doing various hikes and finding secret beaches. Dec. - March is ideal as the Humpback Whales are here from Alaska having there Calf's. We were so lucky to see a mom and a baby . We all so saw 2 whales breaching at the same time from the shore line Very amazing!! Food is expensive in Hawaii so eating out ever night with 4 people can be very costly. Staying in the condo we cooked many fine meals but had a choice to do so verses a hotel. Waikola has many fine restaurants and we did visit a few and the food was suburb.I would Highly recommend these condos they are so nice really makes you feel like you are in paradise. The winter the surf can be very rough they close the beaches The condo has a beautiful pool with a nice hot tub so nice to enjoy and change from the ocean. Planning a trip to the Big Island I would recommend you staying here. The staff has much Aloha to offer and could not be more helpful. I hope to stay here again.
