The Chateau boasts a luxuriously-rustic vacation getaway for you and your family or friends with pampered sleeping accommodations for up to six persons. The extensively remodeled interior features brand new "Old Hickory" furnishings, fresh, gleaming stainless steel kitchen appliances, complete with stunning polished granite counter tops.
An ornate wrap-around staircase is accented by a massive lava rock wood-burning fireplace that lavishly extends toward the vaulted ceiling. The hearth is the perfect place for a cozy party to comfortably sit while sipping spiced cider after a gratifying day on the slopes or skating on the Sun Valley Ice Rink.
The ground floor hosts a comfortable TV room with overstuffed leather recliners to ensure your relaxation and reprieve. The first guest room is complete with two rustic Log Twin Beds that can easily be constructed to King Size. This guest room also features an adjacent bathroom with radiant heated floors, a large arched travertine-tiled rain shower, and a large vanity-style counter space with ample storage.
Up the cascading staircase you'll discover the second large guest bedroom with a King Sized Log Bed, and a brand new ensuite bathroom complete with rain shower. The upstairs master suite also boasts a King Sized Log Bed, ensuite rustic travertine tiled bathroom with radiant heated floors, rain shower, and an adjacent balcony, which upon opening releases the tranquil rushing sound of the Big Wood River while overlooking a fluttering aspen and cottonwood grove.
Past the living room's sliding glass doors, you'll find a huge deck framing the mountain scene, complete with patio furniture, an outdoor gas barbeque, and a wood-burning lava rock fire pit, perfect for entertaining, family cook-outs, and roasting fireside s'mores.
Beyond the deck outside you'll also find a charming riverside gazebo tucked along the bank. This is an ideal spot to sip steaming morning coffee or evening cocktails while inhaling the beauty of the roaring Big Wood River, trout rising, and the accompanying vertical mountainscape on the opposite bank. Deer, elk, moose, eagles, squirrels, and fox are your welcomed guests.
