Whidbey Island is the gateway to the San Juan Islands where you will experience some of the best boating in the world. You may access the north end of the Island by car across Deception Pass Bridge or travel via ferry from Mukilteo to Clinton on the South end of the Island.
The "Z" Resort will accommodate a quiet getaway or a family friendly experience. The great room design has generous living and dining space, expansive chef's kitchen with gas range/oven, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. There are 2 private bedrooms: One King size bedroom with private bath & shower and another Guest Bedroom with queen size bed and adjacent full bath with tub. The family room with water views has another queen size bed. The entry atrium has a pool & ping pong table for game time. There is a wood stove in the living room for those cool winter nights! The home is equipped with a big screen TV, DVD player and stereo system.
The home is sited on a canal lot with a private dock for moorage up to a 55 feet power or sailboat. There is an expansive wood deck with outdoor patio furniture and seating for a large group. Depending the season...you will enjoy great crabbing and clamming on the beach, fishing in the Puget Sound, wonderful walks on the Beach or just relaxing with family and friends!

I rented this house so it would be our home base while we raced WIRW in July, 2011. Although we were 10 miles from Oak Harbor, we enjoyed getting away from the big crowd and building an evening bonfire while we debriefed our daily racing experiences. Gayle was so friendly and hospitable from the initial contact and willing to answer any questions for us as this was our first experience on Whidbey Island. The property was clean and well maintained with wireless internet readily available. We truly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to rent again when we venture this far north again.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
