We took this vacation / 30th wedding anniversary to relax and get away. It couldn't have been better. The privacy and view could not be beat. Thank you for a place to put your feet up and just forget the outside world. And you could not get much more and the rates were very resonable. We will always think of this cabin when we come back to Gatlinburg.
Owner response:Thank you so much! We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay at Moose Tracks. Please visit us again soon. Rebecca

We stayed 1/27 thru 1/29. A surprise birthday party for my boyfriend. The weather was great during our stay. We hiked in the park on Saturday... what fun! Dined at Alamo Saturday night. We loved the layout of the cabin. Perfect for couples.. getaway weekend. Would definately recommend this place. The owners were friendly and worked with me through the reservation process.

Great Views, good location, very clean Our family enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It is very clean and the views are impressive. This is our first visit to the smoky mountain and we loved it. We went on Christmas week, not snow in the area those days (like in almost the rest of the country) but you still have options, we went to Cataloochee, less than 50 miles very close to the I-40 and our kids enjoyed the snow and ski for the first time ( also in Cataloochee they have tubing). Ober Gatlinburg also have other attractions even if there are not snow, like skate.. The cabin is very close to a main street. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are very, very close with many attractions and restaurants. We hope to return soon. Thanks Rebecca!!!!

We picked Moose Tracks from internet, not knowing what we would get for a "honeymoon" house, We could not have picked a better place to stay. It has more than enough room for 2 people & very clean. Bathrooms are very spacious, the Bedroom in the loft area is great. Nice Hot Tub on main floor deck, and Sauna in lower area, with shower. We never used the game room or Sauna area, as we spent too much time in town doing other things. We are a bit older, and enjoyed touring during day and realxing in Hot Tub at night. There are darkening blinds in each room which make it easy to sleep in or wake to nice mountain air! Not much of a view, but in the fall & winter, the view is probably better with no leaves. Loved the drive up the winding road. Easy to find. The only problem we had was there were a few lights out throughout the house and there were no light bulbs to put in. There was a BEAR that kept eating the trash 2 doors behind us! it didn't bother us, as we got pics, but if you stay, make sure to lock up your trash in the containers provided! If I ever get the chance, I will stay here again!
Owner response:So glad you enjoyed your Honeymoon at Moose Tracks. Would love to have you visit again. Had I known you needed some light bulbs I would have brought them by myself as we live here and always happy to assist our guests with anything you might need while visiting in our cabins. Rebecca

My husband I stayed for 4 nights and it was wonderful. I could have stayed longer. It was minutes from downtown Gatlinburg ( a great place if you have children.) It was minutes into the Smokey Mountain National Park. The hiking was fabulous. The pictures that describe the cabin are just what it looks like. The place was clean and neat. The kitchen, was equipped with what you would need to a make a meal. There are 3 porches to use and sit outside and enjoy the scenery. I would definitely stay again. Hopefully we will be able to come back next year during October and enjoy the fall colors. I highly recommend this cabin.
Owner response:So glad that you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you again next year! Rebecca

My boyfriend and I stayed here just for the weekend, and needless to say, it was breathtaking. The pictures were very accurate, but believe me, everything is so much more beautiful in person. The cabin was easy to find. It was very clean inside and out. The hot tub worked fine and was also very clean. The bed was so comfortable that I wanted to take it home with me. The location was perfect. It's about a 5 min. drive to downtown Gatlinburg. I would highly recommend Moose Tracks to anyone, And I will definitely come back.
Owner response:So glad that you enjoyed your stay at Moose Tracks. We have tried very hard to make our cabin comfortable for our guests. Look forward to you visiting again soon! Rebecca

My husband and I just returned from Gatlinberg where we went for a much needed vacation. Downtown was a typical tourist attraction requiring lots of walking. Unique shops lined the main road and we had a lot of fun and bought lots of goodies to bring home. Posed for an old fashioned picture with my husband which I had always wanted to do! By far, without question or any possible doubt, the highlight of our trip was our cabin called "MooseTracks". The pictures on line do not do it justice. Nestled in the mountains, the scenery is breathtaking and the amenities are PERFECT for a relaxing getaway from the routine. We cooked many of our meals in the well equipped kitchen, relaxed and unwound in the hot tub, played pool and I even learned how to play air hockey! A personal highlight for me was the sauna which is what originally sold me on the cabin because there are not many places where you can find this cleansing amenity and I loved it! This was nature at its finest in the Smokey mountains wrapped up in luxury! We can't wait to return and are even thinking about returning in the winter so we can see the beauty of the winter. It is not a bad drive from Florida ... but it is the closest thing to heaven we have found!!

We stayed at Moose Tracks for 4 nights and did not want our little getaway to end. It was the perfect cabin with everything the listing describes. It had snowed several inches before we arrived, so everything was white and beautiful, with a great view of the mountains. Rebecca, the owner, was very friendly and helpful, giving us the safest directions to the cabin since the roads were snowy. We drove to downtown Gatlinburg, the National Park, and to Ober Gatlinburg to ski, all in close distance. We tried a couple of times and couldn't get the dry sauna to work, but we didn't mind since there was a hot tub with a great view. We recommend Ober Gatlinburg for an adventure, and both Bubba Gump's and The Brass Grill to eat. We were very happy with our stay at Moose Tracks and hope to visit again in the future.
Owner response:I am so happy that you enjoyed your stay at Moose Tracks. The snow was beautiful wasn't it? Sorry you had trouble with the sauna, it has a reset button and had I known we could have resolved it right away... Please come and visit us again! Rebecca

We enjoyed the cabin so much we hope to return next year. It is a great place to stay. Well kept and clean. My only regrets is I only had 4 days to stay. Would love to just stay in cabin and not go sight seeing next time. Great view
Owner response:We look forward to you visiting us again next year.... Thanks again for choosing Moose Tracks for your Smoky Mountain vacation. Rebecca
