ABOUT OUR UNIT:
Our condominium (37-B) has an ocean view and overlooks the garden and the West Maui Mountains.
The renovation includes new fixtures and lighting, glass block showers with all new tile, Granite counters in the bathrooms and kitchen and upgraded furnishings throughout. Although the unit has air conditioning, trade winds gently cool the condo to keep you comfortable. The condo is spacious and airy with new travertine floors inside and on the Lanai. The kitchen is fully equipped. A NEW KING SIZE BED with all new linens installed in the Autumn of 2008. A washer/dryer is included in the unit. The very generous parking lot is unassigned and within 20' of the front door just behind the privacy wall and garden. Since our recent remodel, we have added a queen size sofa bed. Our unit is now suitable for a maximum of four adults or two adults and two children.
Use your Wi-Fi device or our new PC. The HIGH SPEED INTERNET CONNECTION, WIFI and cable modem is prepaid by the owner, no additional charge! Just log in daily.
You may enjoy your morning coffee on the lanai or in the dining area overlooking Northwest Maui and Maalea Bay next to the new picture window that was installed in the Fall of 2008. This unit is centrally located-just a short walk to the world-renowned beaches of South Maui featured in all the top travel guides. This upscale property is located in beautiful, sunny South Maui, just south of Kihei. This development sits directly on Keawakapu Beach across the bay from the island of Kahoolave and the famous snorkeling destination of Molokini. The complex is set on 20 acres of lush tropical gardens three small intimate swimming pools and one large pool at the beach. Wake up to the sound of Hawaiian birds and enjoy the tropical landscape. Ekahi is located at the gateway to the entire Wailea/Makena area of Maui. The main pool area was recently renovated with new stone decking. Lounge chairs are furnished around the pools and security is on duty every night.

Private Beach Access, Three Swimming Pools, Paddle tennis court, Shuffleboard, Large pool pavilion with complete kitchen and amenities. Women’s and men's restrooms with showers are at the main pool. Keawakapu Beach is just through the private gate at the pool pavilion and there are many other beaches nearby. The snorkeling is world class where you can enjoy tropical fish, sea turtles and lava formations in the warm water at the edge of the white sand beach. The tiny island of Molokini, a premier dive and snorkel location, is not far offshore; excursions are easy to arrange through any activity desk. December thru March is whale season, and you will enjoy watching these majestic and playful creatures that swim very close to shore. We bought our Hawaii home at Ekahi quite simply because, after traveling to Hawaii for many years, we found Wailea, and Ekahi in particular, is the best property and the best location in the islands.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Our condominium is in an area that receives an average of about seven inches of rain per year. One of the very best swimming beaches is 10 feet past the property's main pool gate. Maui's best restaurants and shopping are just minutes from Ekahi. The airport, department store, hardware, discount stores are a just a fifteen minute drive away. Lahaina, which is very popular with tourists, is thirty minutes away. Wailea is near the end of the road at the southern part of the island, therefore traffic is never a problem.

We are natives of Southern California where we spent a lot of time at the beach as we love the ocean. We have traveled to many places around the world but we have always returned to Hawaii. We know that Wailea in southern Maui has the very best beaches for swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving. The scenery is "Eye Candy" wherever you look. We have been returning to Hawaii for many years, as it is the very best place to spend a vacation.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property. The condo is very nice and spacious--Bob and Ann have all the extras such as boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs and toys, and coolers that add to a great vacation experience without the added expense. The grounds of the Ekahi Village are beautiful, and we loved spending time at the beach, pool, and pavilion.

Great size, clean, and close to beach. The beach is a few minutes walk and is extremely nice. Close to shops in Wailea too. Walking distance to a couple of restaurants too.

We enjoyed our visit because the condo was very comfortable and the furnishing were lovely. Very close to one of the quite pools and a short distance from the big pool. We also enjoyed having the keyed entrance into the big pool area to use the lavatory/hot showers and keep our belongings there while at the beach.

What an amazing trip! We snorkeled, surfed, kayaked, hiked, ate great food, and watched 2 weeks worth of the best sunsets imaginable. The condo is a short walk to a perfect white sandy beach with everything you would want, great snorkeling, room to play around, and it isn't crowded. There are paths to take walks right along the beach all the way to the end of Wailea. The condo so beautiful, and the owners have made a book that will give you great ideas of how to best explore the island. Thanks so much for being a part of the best trip ever, and we hope to make it back soon!

My elderly parents and I stayed at Ann and Bob's unit 37b in Wailea Ekahi. Let me spell out some of the nice touch in this unit. A huge flat panel HDTV. King size bed. A fold out sofa bed. The outdoor patio with tables were perfect for early morning breakfast. My mom definitely enjoyed the large kitchen. The 2 large bathrooms were more than enough for 3 of us. Bob couldn't have been more helpful with our stay. Go stay in this condo instead of staying at large hotels . The Wailea hotels are nice but you certainly don't get to have the freedom that you would with a private condo.

Condo on ground level, with everything needed to enjoy your vacation; towels, beach chairs, coolers, snorkling mask and fins, blankets, etc. Beautiful lanai with BBQ facing the ocean, which is within walking distance. condo property is on ocean, with quiet pools and a larger family pool, with great views of the nightly sunset. Full kitchen, with dining room, as well as a stackable washer/dryer. Wailea, Makena and Kihei area of Maui, known as the south coast. Much quieter than the west coast, but close enough to visit LaHaina, aquarium, and all of the other wonderful attractions. Lots of restaurants (from inexpensive to expensive, and everything in between) and shopping within a short drive. Close to both the Up Country (Mountain and volcano), as well as the north east area of the island (Paia, Kula for example).

We just returned from a wonderful week in Maui and cannot say enough positive comments about staying in this condo. It was so comfortable, it was like staying with family. Every need was met as the owners are very thoughtful and attentive to detail regarding their guest's comfort, and very easy to work with. They did everything they said they would and more. The accomodatations were top notch, beautifully decorated, and peaceful. The location was great! We would not hesitate to recommend this gem, and hope to return on our next visit to Maui.
