So glad we were able to stay at Kaleana's Garden Cottage this weekend in Bend. The location is great. The house is two blocks from some wonderful restaurants and super bakery and is less than a mile walk to downtown --which was great for this weekend since it was packed for the Summerfest ---so no parking hassles. The gardens, pond and back deck were beautiful. The welcome basket was a nice surprise and we felt welcomed by the owners even though they were not there. The house is well maintained and clean and was as nice as the photos. Everyone commented on the soft sheets and linens. We will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I rented this cottage for a vacation get-away for our 2 year-old, my mom and us. This cottage has so much character! And there was a little something for all of us. The sweetest and most charming master suite upstairs, decorated in shabby chic/antiques, was perfect for my mom. My daughter found the Coy pond in the backyard just off the patio to be fascinating. There is a great little room off the main bedroom downstairs, the perfect size for our daughter to sleep in (bring your own port-a-crib). The kitchen was fully-stocked, complete with complimentary coffee. The biggest surprise, in addition to the wonderful gift basket, was how close this cottage is to everything. The park, complete with a boat, swings, tunnels, and slides is literally around the corner (two short blocks down Milwaukee). For breakfast, Mother's Day morning, we ate at the Westside Bakery, six blocks away. It is perfect for families with small children. The place is decorated with vintage toys with a working model train circles the restaurant while you eat. Kaleana's Cottage was perfect for our family! You can tell this home was lived in and loved. Note: While we believe this cottage worked for our family, there are a few steps and stairs in the house that may be challenging for super small children or older seniors. We brought our own port-a-crib and booster seat.

This rental is right around the corner from the best coffee in Bend- Backporch Roasters; a great bakery- Nancy P's and the Newport Market. It's also walking distance from a great playgound, Drake Park and downtown. It has a nice backyard and the upstairs bedroom is beautiful. The owners are nice enough to leave a gift basket with all kinds of great goodies and both regular and decaf coffee beans.

We had a family wedding in Bend and were looking for a place to stay for our family of four. I just "happened upon" Kaleana's Cottage on the internet and was so pleased that I did! Doyle and Karen are wonderful to work with and are so accommodating. The house just "felt like home" to us and we had a great time. We love all the "quaintness" of the house and yet it has all the modern conveniences that we are used to. The backyard is the perfect retreat to relax and enjoy a glass of iced tea and a good book! Thanks again! -The Day Family

This is a very clean, comfortable house with a pretty backyard including a nice waterfall feature that will lull you to sleep at night. We stayed for 3 nights but wished that we could have stayed much longer. The house has lots of character, is roomy, and you will truly feel like you are home. The owners provide a welcome basket with crackers and wine which is a nice touch. It's a very short walk to downtown Bend and the river.

We had family visiting from out of state for the holidays and stayed in the cottage before Christmas. It was a perfect place for us. All of the rooms were nice and it was great to have seperate bathrooms with the bedrooms for everyone. We also received a very nice gift basket when we arrived. It is a pet friendly place as well and our dog enjoyed the homey feel. It is a great location, close to our favorite breakfast place. I would definately stay again.

What a comfortable, lovely place to stay and you've thought of every detail. We come to Bend frequently and we hope to make this our "home" away from home. And thanks for being dog friendly. Our dogs were so happy to be included.

We enjoyed our stay in Bend. Your home is lovely and was so close to downtown. Our boys rode their bikes every chance they got, even to the the candy store Powell's and Goodys! Your gardens are very beautiful and well cared for too! Thank you and we hope to be back next summer.

Great place, Great neighborhood, Great town,Great stay, Our family has enjoyed walks to the park, wiffle ball on the baseball field, and watching people go by the house on their bikes. Our private retreat in the back, shared only with the fishes, had been relaxing. We rafted part of the Deschutes river too. Well be back!
