Just a short drive away, Sea Colony is the perfect resort for wonderful family vacations.
Your large condominium has a wall of glass overlooking a great beach and the Atlantic. The strong morning sun and cool evening breezes, along with the dolphins and pelicans, will make the balcony your favorite place--sunrises are spectacular, moonrises are even better. Large, light-filled rooms are perfect for gatherings, a good book or movie, and games or jigsaw puzzles.
The 1/2 mile guarded private beach is seconds away, as are 5 oceanfront pools, four tennis courts, and indoor pool/fitness center. Don't miss the sandcastle building contest. You can also hop on the free tram that stops at your door for the 3 minute ride to Sea Colony West; visit the swans, swim in 6 more pools (one indoor with fitness center, and one 25-meter lap pool); also 30 more tennis courts (four indoor), shaded trails, and fishing ponds. Did you know that TENNIS MAGAZINE continues to rank Sea Colony in its list of 50 top tennis resorts?
Evenings are fabulous--stroll the long ocean-front promenade, try surf fishing, fly a kite, or take a cool dip. For a little more excitement, take a pleasant walk into the center of Bethany, perhaps for dinner or a great Philly cheese steak, to sit on a bench and "people watch", or maybe to browse the shops or the wonderful bookstore, and certainly to enjoy one of the many sunset boardwalk concerts in the new ocean-front bandshell while enjoying a delicious custard, fries or salt water taffy.
Your master bedroom has two queen beds, the smaller bedroom has one full and one twin bed. There is a queen sleep sofa in the living room. Meals are a breeze in the fully-equipped kitchen and large dining room (or just as likely the balcony). Just bring some munchies and bed linens/towels(we have plenty of blankets and pillows), and we (and Sea Colony and Bethany) will provide the "rest".
In the spring of 2005, major exterior renovations on our building were completed, including new elevators, railings, and state-of-the-art fire alarm system. In more recent years, the baths have been completely remodeled, the kitchen counters and flooring in the kitchen and dining room were replaced, a new stove and microwave were installed, and a shower door for the bath tub was completed. In 2011 a new 32" LCD TV and Blue Ray player were added to the living room, along with lots of new DVDs.
Available for full weeks in summer, and weeks/long weekends off season. Very sorry, but no pets.

This was our second trip to Sea Colony and this condo and we are now getting ready to contact Mike to plan our 2012 return. Arrival this year was slightly delayed due to hurricane Irene, but the condo was completely cleaned and ready, and the five of us had another wonderful time. The condo is great, rain or shine, and we really like the provided beach chairs and umbrella. And dining on the balcony is perfect.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.
So much fun!

We just returned from our second visit to Sea colony. First time in this condo. It was beautiful and had everything we could possibly need. Looking forward to many future visits.
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.
