The open kitchen/family/dining room with a large fireplace and hardwood floors through out is an ideal space for gathering. This room opens up to one of two decks overlooking the Eagle River offering fantastic views of the backside of Vail Mountain and the Lionshead Cliffs. The Kitchen boasts a Wolf range, Sub Zero fridge, Asko dishwasher, custom cabintets and granite countertops. The master bedroom has a sliding glass door out to a deck overlooking the river,king bed, and large walk in closet. The second bedroom has great views, a queen bed, and private bath. The third bedroom, has a vaulted ceiling,full bed and hardwood floors. In addition there is a finished basement with 2 twin beds and a queen bed, a small sitting area and a TV. The basement ceiling height is only six feet so this space is ideal for kids. There is also a one car heated garage.

Why the Owner Chose Minturn
We love this home for the ideal setting on the Eagle River. The opposite side of the river is open space and provides fantastic views of the mountains and cliffs.

The ideal location of the home situated on the banks of the Eagle River only 5 miles to either Vail or Beaver Creek Resorts help set this home apart from the others. Also the finishes are higher end than you would find in your typical vacation rental.
Owner's Map of Minturn
We moved to the Vail area in 1991 shortly after college to ski bum for a winter. One season and we were hooked. Realizing that a career as a bartender and waitress were not our life long ambitions we put our heads together to try to find a way to make a living. 1994 we bought an old home in Minturn and a year later after an extensive renovation we opened a seven room bed and breakfast, The Minturn Inn. We sold the Inn in 2005 after 3 expansions creating a total of 19 rooms but the new owners did not want to run the vacation rental business so we continued it as a side business which fits well with Tom's primary business as a home builder. Over the years we have added a number of long and short term rentals to our inventory of properties. We still live full time in Minturn and are just a few blocks away from all our rentals.

I hate to leave a review as to fill Minturn up with visitors. The experience from first contact to last was excellent. The house was more then we expected. For the first time a rental had everthing we needed and better then that it worked. The town fit our needs and the Market Day Fair was just what I needed to fill out my Christmas list. Thanks, Tom we will be back.

This was the second summer in a row that my wife and I have stayed in your Minturn home and we expect to return many more times. While we've also stayed in 5-star resorts in both Vail and Beaver Creek, we love your home because of its upscale finishes, close proximity to the Eagle River with its roaring water sound, and the spacious room to spread out. You've done everything possible to make this home comparable to the best resorts that the Vail Valley has to offer. The town of Minturn is one of the best kept secrets in the Vail Valley.

Having previously stayed in Minturn for it's convenience to both VAIL & BEAVER CREEK, this renovated and well appointed home was PERFECT for the 3 couples in our group! Highlights of our stay included the views of the river and snow blanketed mountain with roaming elk and deer from windows and patio doors; the comfort of heated flooring and heated garage (though a larger SUV would not fit, our mini-van squeaked in); and the open living floor plan and amazing kitchen which were conducive to our family dinners and game nights! The owner is a seasoned rental property owner and was easy to work and communicate with. I look forward to future stays at this or one of his other properties!

I rented this amazing house for the weekend with 9 friends in our 20s. The house was beautiful inside and out. The interior was newly refinished with stocked kitchen, steam shower andjet tub, and gas fireplace. The deck looked out over the eagle river with gorgeous views. We were close to vail and great hiking. We definitely will be renting this place again next year. It was a great deal for the price and I would recommend this house to anyone.

There are no words to describe what a wonderful experience we had in Colorado last week. This was our first time but we definitely hope to return soon. Your place was everything we dreamed of and then much more. Everything from the decor to the linens were of superb quality. The view and the location right on the river was awesome. We already recommended family and friends for this summer. We are sure they will feel the same way.

The pictures of this house do not do it justice. The location is right on the Eagle River and is very quiet and peaceful. Every finish was high end and the house is much bigger than it looks on the website. My entire family stayed here for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. The rooms are large and the bathrooms are especially amazing. This was the nicest rental experience we have had in the mountains and it's only a few minutes from Vail. Great value for the money and great house for people who value space and privacy.

We have been coming to the Vail Valley for many years and this is definitely one of the nicest homes we have stayed in. The river setting is gorgeous, with wonderful views across to the mountains (see how many elk you can spot each morning), and the house is elegant, cosy and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful. We loved it and will definitely be renting it again.
