My husband and I recently stayed at The Legends for a month. The condo is much bigger than the pictures appear. The condo has plenty of amenities such as more than enough cooking supplies, DVD's in two rooms, TV in both bedrooms + living room, and full cable package including STARZ on Demand. The walk to the beach is literally under 5 minutes and so easy; quicker than we anticipated. The lakes are close so kayaking/fishing/Yolo boarding are also an option if not trying these activities on the ocean. Location very close to a small shopping area with great restaurants & lovely courtyard where concerts and local activities are held. The condos are nestled behind some lovely palm trees and landscaping making the two pools & hot tubs very private and pleasant. The owner is just wonderful. Responses are immediate, friendly with communication, and returned our deposit within a week after leaving. No surprises making our trip just wonderful. Hope to stay again.

This was our fourth annual trip from North Carolina to the beautiful Santa Rosa beach area. This year was my daughter’s high school graduation and she brought along 3 friends. The four of the girls along with my wife, son, dog and I all were very comfortable in this nice townhouse. The four girls shared the bedroom with the double beds. My wife and I had the master, and my son and our dog Hank shared the downstairs/sofa bed. The kitchen, dining area and living room were plenty spacious for all seven of us. It also was so nice to be able to bring along our dog Hank. We loved how bright and clean the townhouse was. It had everything we needed – plenty of dishes in the kitchen, towels, etc. Most of our time was spent at the beach which was an easy short five minute walk away. The girls loved tanning and hanging out at the pool as well since it was rarely crowed, and right near the bottom of the stairs. The deck had a beautiful cooling breeze every afternoon and it was always comfortable to sit out. One day my son and I went deep sea fishing and were able to enjoy using the outdoor gas grill to cook our catch for everyone. Alicia handled the rental for us and she was very prompt and responsive with all correspondence and return of deposit. She was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions about the area. We would definitely rent here again – hopefully we can make the trip next summer!

I recently stayed at this lovely condo. I had a wonderful time. The weather was beautiful. The accomadations were very comfortable and you can't beat the rates. I have told me friends about it and plan to return myself.

We had a wonderful time. Great relaxing family spot. This unit was one of the nicest we have stayed in.We just booked again for this coming August. The new property manager or owner Alicia is a pleasure to deal with, much easier than the guy that I talked to in 2009. My children are into volleyball and spent many mornings on the sand court. Thanks again for a great vacation.

I stayed in this condo July 9, 2010 for a couple of days and had the most incredible time. This is the third time I have stayed here and it is remarkable each and every occasion. I highly recommend booking this place and you can't beat the rates. GREAT TIMES!!!! Aloha!!!

The listing was very accurate, the photos are exactly what you see, and the property was clean. The person that I dealt with was very knowledgeable and helped me with all of my questions and concerns inlcuding telling me about her favorite restaurants and shopping days. This owner insisted payment by check and he HAS NOT refunded our security deposit. We have made numerous attempts to contact him by phone and email and he will not respond. VRBO.com has been made aware of this situation.

"We rented this condo in July 2009. The condo is accurately depicted regarding location, appearance, amenities, etc. When we arrived we found that the master bed was completely sunken in the middle and we had problems with the washing maching not ringing the clothes out so we couldn't get them dry - even with very small loads of only a couple of towels. We contacted the owner but basically just ended up having to deal with it all week - the last thing we wanted to do on vacation was deal with a washing maching. Afterwards, we did not receive the refund of our deposit until a few months later rather than a week or so as promised. When we finally were able to get in touch with the owner, he said he had been in the hospital - understandable. So, for July 2010, I contacted the owner to see if the issues had been fixed and he assured me they had replaced the mattress and washer. So, we booked again. Unfortunately we had to cancel and did so more than 30 days in advance, but have not received a refund of our deposit. While the owner was very accessible before we cancelled, he has refused all efforts to contact him since. I guess if you stay in this condo and there aren't any problems, it might be worth it - if you aren't in any rush to get your refund. But, I want to at least WARN others of the risk of losing your money or relaxation time with this property. While the condo itself was average, dealing with this owner is not worth the money you might save. I would definitely not recommend the property to a friend or relative. There are plenty of other places in this area that are closer to the beach, shopping areas, etc.

Owner response:this renter has been taken care of and did receive their deposit back, now that there is a new property manager. The washing machine has been replaced with a brand new one and the mattress issue has been taken care of. There is a new property manager now who will make sure that your stay at this place is pleasant.

I was pleasantly surprised one day when I was contacted by the NEW OWNER. She stated, "I believe you may be owed some money and I'd like to make that right". She is the new owner of this property and she followed through and refunded me all the money that was owed to me by the previous owner. She was pleasant and listened to my frustration and made things right. I had basically written things off but this was great because she reached out to me. She has since corrected the washing machine and mattress. I will definitely consider staying at this condo the next time I return to the area. THANKS FOR MAKING THINGS RIGHT, even though you didn't have to.

We had the most wonderful and relaxing week while staying at this condo. The condo has everything you could ever want and it's location is perfect. The view for the balcony is amazing! The beaches are so clean and the water is clear. The beds were beyond comfertable. The rooms are very spacious and the condo itself is extremely well kept. The pools and hot tubs are right outside your door. We will be staying here again, very soon. The worst part of the week was having to leave!!
