Great central location for the skier and/or outdoor enthusiast, this 3 bedroom/3 bath, 2000 s.f. townhome, newly remodeled and upgraded, sits tucked away from the street yet still convenient enough to be less than a minute to BOTH Nevada lifts of Heavenly. The home is only 5 minutes from downtown South Lake Tahoe, gambling, nightlife and more, too!!

After a long day of skiing or hiking, relax in the, two person private Jacuzzi on the patio deck. Throw some items on the gas grille and kick back and aborb our great mountain and valley views!

For your entertainment, each room is equipped with flat screen televisions with cable and the living room has a large screen television, also complete with cable. For those requiring the "working vacation", we have WIFI thoughout the condo and a computer for you to use.

The condo is fully furnished with a rustic mountain interior style. The living room is very spacious with an open floor plan and there is a wood fireplace for your enjoyment, as well. The kitchen is full with all amenities and everything needed to prepare meals and dine in. The home is also equipped with a full size washer and dryer and parking for two cars in front of the condo. For great beer on tap AND walking distance from the home, head on over to the newly remodeled Fox and Hound Bar and Restaurant. Forget that one item at the grocery store? No worries - head on down to the local market - just a five minute walk away! .

Pets are permitted with prior management permission. There is no additional deposit or fees for approved pets.

Beautiful, comfortable and convenient - Plan to rent again.

We stayed that this property in October 2011. The bathrooms and kitchen have been tastefully remodeled. Our family of 5 and 2 dogs found it to be conveniently close of many destinations, spacious and comfortable and located is a very beautiful setting. We especially enjoyed the gourmet BBQ, relaxing hot-tub and the hikes up the mountain behind the house. We definitely plan to come again. Thank you.

Listing misleading

My 2 friends and I got this places based on the fact that it said it was walking distance away from the lifts. If a 5 minute drive is walking distance, than pigs can fly! If we rented this place without a rental car, our trip would have been horrible. We called the owner about this and he said that it is supposed to say, "minutes away" from the lifts. I mean, that is a huge difference and would have changed our mind about renting the place. The place wasnt too clean when we arrived. There were actually a couple of guys having beers on the couch when we showed up...friends of the owner. They said they were cleaning the place. What? Cleaning out the beer cans while watching hockey? The bathroom drains had mass amounts of hair in them as well, pretty gross. The place could have been nice, as it had decent rooms and a nice layout, but the experience we had was misleading. The lack of extra blankets and pillows made it very hard to imagine that it could sleep as many as it stated and the kitchen was very poorly equipped with hardware. I will not rent from this owner again."

Owner response:Management and housekeeping of this property has changed effective 3/1/2011. We regret that any travelers had a poor experience at the home in February of 2010, but we encourage travelers to stay at our home and experience all that Tahoe has to offer! The home is very close to both of the lifts on Heavenly's Nevada side - Stagecoach and Boulder. The lifts are not walking distance but they are a very, very short drive - less than 2 minutes. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed during a short or long stay, there are lots of extra blankets and pillows that are sufficient for the number of people the home sleeps and our management takes pride in their cleanliness of the homes at all times. If anyone has any concerns over this prior review, we would be happy to discuss this with anyone to allay any misgivings you may have. Thanks!!
