All of the bedrooms open up to a balcony, you can either watch the waves crash in or watch the city of Destin below. From the moment you step in to Silver Beach Towers #1406W you will feel at home. The bright colors in the living and dining rooms welcome you in for a relaxing and fun stay. What to do while you are in Destin when you aren't enjoying the beautiful beach...
Destin, Florida is known as the ”World’s Luckiest Fishing Village,” is also home to great fishing as its name implies. Fish from the beach or boat. If you do not want to bring your boat, one of Destin’s many charter boats would love the opportunity to take you out for full or half day excursions. Water surrounds Destin with the intercoastal waterway to the north and Gulf on the south, creating an abundance of water sports available, including kayaking, wave running, parasailing, kite surfing, snorkeling and so much more!
Destin, Florida's newest development is Harborwalk Village. Here you will be able to watch the fishing boats come in with their daily catches & view the most breathtaking sunsets you will ever see. Pat O' Briens & Harry T's both overlook the Destin Harbor and are great for lunch or dinner. Commander's Palace is great for a special meal or a spectacular Sunday brunch.
As I mentioned earlier, you will be walking distance to the Back Porch Restaurant. Just follow the beach along to get to this beachfront restaurant. You will also find Gratzie Italian Restaurant here too, although you won't have the great view of the water here. If I'm not mistaken they are only opened for dinner so check before walk over for lunch!!
Harbor Dock's Restaurant located in Destin is a long time locals and visitors favorite. You will find the freshest seafood with a market down below. This restaurant has a great Florida feel to it. Whether you are enjoying an early morning breakfast with the fishermen, a down home lunch special or a wonderful sushi roll you surely will be satisfied here!
For some entertainment you can head to Big Kahuna's Water Park and hit the slides, try out their Honolulu Half Pipe, test your courage on their adventure rides or play a round of mini golf. At the Track just across from Silver Beach Towers you will find arcade games, bumper boats, mini golf and for the adventurous Bungee Jumping. My favorite thing to do after a hard day of laying out is to shop.. Destin has so many options! Destin Commons- Find Black/White Market, Abercrombie & Fitch, Maui Nix Surf Shop and more here.
Silver Sands Outlet Mall- Over 100 factory stores are located here, you will find your favorites such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Bass, Anne Taylor, Crabtree & Evelyn, Nautica and many more. For those that love purses, you will find Coach & Dooney here too!
Grand Boulevard- Here you will find J Crew at the beach, J Jill, Santuary, Orvis, Coldwater Creek and a handful of others. For a great Sunday you should go to Crab Island. This is the area beneath the Destin Bridge if you have never heard of it before. Spending the day on a pontoon boat hear makes for a great Sunday. The water is crystal clear here & pretty shallow so everyone can enjoy a great day. For lunch go to Dewey Destin's by boat for some Fried Seafood.
Once you come to Destin, Florida & enjoy the great restaurants, weather and water activities you will be hooked & will come year after year!!
