Cabin on the Creek is a beautiful place in a beautiful place. Sitting on the deck listening to the gurgling stream is most relaxing. Walking on the Lake Michigan shoreline, less than two miles away, is always enjoyable.

We stayed at Cabin on the Creek between Christmas and New Years. The cabin was perfect for our family vacation and we will definetly be back. The location is fantastic, well off of M22 equal distance between Glen Arbor and Leland. There is easy access to all of the Northern entry pooints for Sleeping Bear Dunes, and a trail that will wind around the creek, down a fire road and then into Manitou Passage GC. Since the course is closed for winter this was a great running route. The 4 bedrooms at the cabin are well appointed and comfortable. The living room is great and the fireplace puts out nuclear level warmth. Everything was clean, well stocked and the owner is gret to deal with. No issues whatsoever.

Cabin on the creek was a wondeful experience and i would highly recomend this property to anyone looking to enjoy northern MI. The cabin is well equipped and nicely furnished and provides plenty of room for a large family but is also a great retreat for a couple looking to spend some time together. We lived on the roomy verandas enjoying the summer breeze and quiet peace of the surrounding woods. Our dogs were in heaven as they got to explore the woods and creek and then crash on the veranda after a long day of exploring new sights and smells. The location is perfect for exploring the area - nicely situated in the middle of several small towns and lakes. The well equipped open kitchen allowed us to prepare some great meals with the food we picked up at local farmers markets and fruit/veggie stands. WiFi and cable TV allowed us to stay connected to the world. We will definately be repeat customers next summer.

We just returned home from our amazing week spent at Cabin on the Creek! Our three generation vacation week was enjoyed by all in this beautiful, skillfully crafted log home. There were no details spared when building this spectacular log home. Each floor (3 floors) has its own full bath which is so nice with multi-generational family vacations! We loved the layout of the home, the cleanliness, the details in the decorating and the full laundry room. The location could not be better! Our kids (ages 7,8,10 and 12) loved the creek in the back of the house and would spend every morning exploring the quiet area. The cabin is located minutes from so many beautiful beaches, shopping in Glen Arbor, Leland, and Traverse City and is located right off the beautiful drive of M-22! When we arrived we found that the home had many extra ammenities that we did not expect. There were bikes for us to enjoy, a clean grill and tools, a kitchen with all the pots, pans and cooking utinsils we needed, and a bottle of local wine to welcome us to the area. While this was our second year to the area, it was our first year staying in a home in this location. We will definitely be back and will make this an annual trip for our family! We thank the hosts for opening their truly beautiful log home!

Our family has stayed at the Cabin for the past three summers, finding it to provide everything we have come to expect in a "home away from home" and exceeding many of our expectations. The Cabin is clean, comfortable, well-maintained, offers expected and unexpected amenities, delightfully decorated, and readily accessible to anyone with any kind of impairment. The front entry is ten feet from the driveway and one could enjoy a full stay and never have to leave the first floor. The Cabin's location allows for guests to be on quality golf courses, great beaches (for walks, sunsets and looking for Petoskey stones), in town for shopping, or enjoying a variety of restaurants in a matter of minutes in Glen Arbor, Leland, Suttons' Bay or Traverse City. Its secluded location provides for total privacy and freedom from traffic noises. The pictures of the Cabin, while accurate, do not do the Cabin justice. The owners have done a wonderful job of providing a home they would be comfortable living in. Any questions or concerns we have had were promptly addressed and answered. They make a "pet-friendly" vacation possible. We highly recommend the Cabin on the Creek for your consideration.

This cabin was amazing! It was more like a luxurious home, than a cabin. We loved all of the woodwork and rustic decor. Each bedroom had a different theme and we loved all of the bears, deer, fish and ducks! The proximity to Lake Michigan was perfect. It was a quick drive to two of our favorite beaches and a short drive to a great fishing hole. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay, this is it. We really enjoyed our time here and will be recommending the cabin to friends!

After staying a week in July 2011 at cabin on the creek, I cannot say enough good things about this vacation retreat. The pictures on the website do not do justice to this prize location. From quality of construction and attention to detail to all the necessities a visitor needs, this is a first rate choice for a vacation. Very clean and very comfortable. Good location between Glen Arbor and Leland.

This past week my family and I spent 4 nights at the Cabin on the Creek and it was truly amazing! This place seriously has it all...toys for kids, a high chair, a grill and all the cooking tools (clean tools!), a fully equipped kitchen (plates, silverware, glasses, etc) and even a washer and dryer! Not to mention that each family got their own full bath (3 full baths!!). The location of the cabin is perfect too. It's about a 10 minute drive to Glen Arbor or a 20 min drive to TC and then there are lots of cute little towns in between. Glen Arbor is adorable though so we spent most our time there. The kids had a blast with the creek behind the cabin and they also enjoyed the dunes in the park (as did the adults!). We cannot thank the Budzinski's enough for sharing this property with us. We could tell how much love and attention went into building this cabin. The single complaint I have is regarding the box spring for the bed in the lowest level. The bed is very comfortable but the springs are out of this world squeaky! My husband and I got the biggest laugh out of it, but can we get a new box spring on that mattress by next year? Thanks again and we'll see you next year!!! P.S the welcome gift was so thoughtful! That wine was delicious - nice choice.

What a wonderful stay we had at the Cabin on the Creek. The photographs on the website don't do this place justice, we were thrilled with everything. We normally vacation in Virginia Beach but decided to go North this year with my husband's family and our children. There was plenty of room for everyone and also parking for my in-law's motor home. The owners thought of everything and we could feel the love and care that went in to building, decorating and stocking this home. We were so pleased to see that you even thought of toys for the children. We loved the beauty and quiet of the area and we hope to come back when my husband returns from Afghanistan next year, Thank you so much, we truly enjoyed ourselves and had the most relaxing vacation we have ever had. We highly recommend this cabin. The location is perfect and in close proximity to fun things to do. We canoed, tubed, swam in Lake Michigan, shopped and dined in Leland and ended every evening around the firepit listening to the sounds of the creek.

Myself and 5 friends stayed the weekend at the 'cabin on the creek'. It's a gorgeous cabin and we had everything we needed. Make sure to check out the closet & laundry room in the basement if it appears you need anything. We grilled steaks & asparagus that first night and then just drank wine, played games & listened to music. On Saturday we spent some time shopping downtown T.C., then went wine tasting and did some gambling at Turtle Creek. It was back to the cabin that evening to sit out on the deck, visit & have some more wine! The cabin is very secluded and quiet except for the sounds from the creek rushing by. We're all anxious for a return trip!

Our three days in Cabin on the Creek proved near perfect. Every creature comfort was provided yet the setting was so serene with no intruding noise to distract. We would return tomorrow if it were available.

When my friends and I decided to take a vacation, our criteria were: 1) unique, 2) dog-friendly, 3) cozy with a fireplace, and 4) secluded. Your cabin looked like it fit the bill. Once we arrived we discovered that your pictures don't do it justice! Tucked back at the end of a drive overlooking a creek in the middle of the woods--it felt VERY secluded despite it being only 20 minutes outside of Traverse City. The furnishings were extrememly comfortable and complete--we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Thank you sooo much for sharing your cabin with us! We definitely hope to make this an annual trip!!

We have stayed at Cabin on the Creek two times now. The first was during the summer. We loved the beauty of the trees around the cabin and the gentle flowing creek. We had a family bonfire that everyone enjoyed complete with a football tossing contest in the back and smores. Each bed was comfy and the kids loved the basement! It was their own personal hideaway. I adored the deck outside the master bedroom and enjoyed many mornings of quiet time perched in the trees watching wildlife and soaking in God's beautiful scenery. Our second visit was at the request of our children for Christmas. They wanted to return to Cabin on the Creek and see snow! We were anxious about leaving home in Florida for Christmas as our home is always decorated abundantly and our children have never had Christmas anywhere else. No worries, we were greeted by a wreath on the door, three beautiful little trees, lit with red pine cone lights by the fireplace, and many small touches of decorations in each room. Each bed was comfortably suited with flannel sheets and warm blankets and God painted the trees and roof with snow. It was perfect and made me cry because there was so much attention to detail. The cabin was prepared with love just for us! Each visit we have found everything in perfect order and have not lacked anything in the kitchen or otherwise. Thank you Cabin on the Creek family for blessing all who stay in your beautiful cabin! May God bless you in return and bless each family who stays at Cabin on the Creek. In His grace, The Bruce Family

Beautiful setting, and a breathtaking view of the creek from the master bedroom. Cozy and quaint don't begin to describe the experience, this is a "must see" cabin if you are looking for a quiet get-away. The accommodations are first class as are the owners. I have visited this cabin many times and is my favorite in the area.

This is a wonderful cabin! We were looking for a comfortable place with the feel of being away from it all, where we could see the stars and yet be within reach of good cross country ski trails and restaurants. Cabin on the Creek fit our needs perfectly:clean, comfortable, charming rooms; a large practical kitchen; a cozy gas fireplace; enough room for all of us plus our winter gear; a driveway long enough to walk an eager dog; beautiful woods and creek views. The care taken in the cabin is evident throughout. All this within an easy distance from some of our favorite northern Michigan restaurants (North is practically within walking distance, Art's is an easy drive), several good Leelanau trails (Pyramid Point is very close), and not far from the groomed trails of Crystal Mountain. Great cabin, great location.
