"River Mist" Lodge is located on the banks of the beautiful Toccoa River. Visitors can wave accross the waterway to passengers on the Historical "Blue Ridge Train" as it runs from Blue Ridge to McCaysville twice a day during season. Visitors can relax on the upper level of the dock or fish from the lower level. The burn pit offers opportunities for enjoying smores or good conversations around the fire. The upper side deck offers dining area, while watching the river roll north, as well as a new gas grill connected to the propane tank. If you are the avid fisherman you will never have to leave this abode. The lower side deck houses the hot tub for relaxation. There is a "rocking chair" front porch with swing and rockers that spans the length of the lodge. Children's books, toys and movies are included.
"River Myst" is equipped with a generator connected directly to the propane tank so visitors will never be without power or water. This is a very rare occasion but in the event you need the generator it is there.
Beds include 1 king and 1 queen, 2 full, 1 twin and 3 sets of bunk beds and 3 full baths. The family room has a large screen TV. TV'S are also in the masters and the upstairs bedroom. Gas logs in the living room. Dining room has seating for 13 with additional seating on deck, dock, as well as card tables and chairs. Egyptian cotton sheets, blankets, pillows, Towels, washcloths and kitchen towels and cloths are furnished
There is a large fully equipped kitchen, place servings, silverware, and stemware for 16. Small appliances include restaurant style waffle maker, griddle, large fry daddy, coffee maker, hand mixer, crock pot, blender, hand cranked and electric ice cream maker. A large selection of pots, pans, baking dishes, serving pieces. Newly stainless steel appliances have been installed and new granite countertops. This cabin has been proffessionally decorated for only the finest taste of country/cabin decor. You will not be dissappointed when you come stay in this Riverfront cabin.
