We had a most awesome time at the crossings on Lindsey Hill Rd. There were 13 of us and we had plenty of room. The property was well maintained and clean. All of the ladies were very impressed. The bar in the kitchen was perfect for serving our meals and both tables provided ample space for all of us to set together. I would highly recommend this property to friends or relatives We loved the hot tub and the scenery around the property.

We held a professional retreat in this property for 20 people and it was a wonderful facility. The home is beautiful and had everything we needed for cooking for the large group and areas to relax in. There is also great road biking nearby. We hope to use it again in the future and would recommend it.

This home is as nice as it states in the property description. All the furnishings, decor, and finishes are beautiful! The house is very large too. It doesn't look big from the front of the house, but it is a huge home with lots of space. We had 22 people stay in the home for 3 days and we all had more than enough room. We had 70 people there on one day for a reunion, and still the house didn't feel crowded at all. At one point we had 4 guys cooking in the kitchen, and we all had plenty of room to work around each other. The property owner was prompt in returning my calls and answering my questions before, during, and after our stay there. The property manager lives less than a mile away, so it was easy to get what we needed. We had some special needs due to our flight itineraries, and the reunion, the property owner was very responsive and flexible. At one point I realized we didn't know the password to the Wi-Fi in the house, I sent a text to the property manager, and had a response in less than a minute. The location is perfect. We had fun in Park City, Provo, and Salt Lake while there. Heber is nicely situated near all of those places. The views out the master windows are sweeping and beautiful, you can see all the way across the valley. The kids loved the hot tub, and some of the adults had Jacuzzis in their rooms. I also liked that the kids could go downstairs to play video games on the flat screen TV in the walk out basement living room, while the adults could enjoy talking upstairs in the main living room, without having to talk over the kids. I cannot give higher reviews. I travel all over the world and have stayed in every kind of accommodation imaginable. I tend to scrutinize accommodations and service more than average, and this home ranks as one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. The rates ended up being lower than accommodating 22 people for 3 days in a hotel too, and hotels don't give you the kind of atmosphere that this home does.

Wonderful family reunion spot

We spent a ton of time down at the pond fishing with the kids. Super fun. We used the hot tub and the outdoor grill and were very pleased with both. The kitchen was amazing! I felt like a gourmet chef the whole time. Very spacious and accommodating. Members of the family were able to hide away in their rooms when they needed some space and join the fun in the family room when they wanted to mingle. Gorgeous interiors. Walmart is close by which was nice when I realized I forgot the ketchup. Overall a fantastic experience. No complaints at all. In fact the whole family was begging us to buy the place so we could use it all the time!

A group of 5 couples rented the house. The rooms vary a bit in accommodations but the smallest room is outstanding. 10ft ceilings and 8' solid wood closet doors tells you a lot about the place. Radiant heat in the lower level rec room was lovely. Plenty of hot water, garage space, etc. More important the owner and manager were excellent people to deal with. Very friendly. We only had one problem. The web site said the house provided firewood. They don't. It got too expensive for them. No problem, we bought some it locally, and the house had no shortage of things most places wouldn't provide. Laundry detergent, coffee, tissue, etc. Kitchen is commercial and we had some pretty great meals there. Plenty of cooking supplies, dishes, etc. Hot tub worked great. Bathrooms are great. Everyone enjoyed their rooms and their beds. Our mattress was fair, but the owner replaced a double with queen at our request, so we're not complaining. Cell phone service can be weak here; but hey we were on vacation! House is in very good shape and the owner is particular about keeping it that way. We like that. Plan to rent again next year. Oh yeah the view. Hard to beat.

We just came home from our annual family retreat (16 of us). Quite often when we rent a property, it ends up looking like a 'frat' house in spite of the beautiful photos. This home is amazing!! We had a wonderful time, it was comfortable and had the kitchen equipment we needed to prep meals for the family. If we come this way again, this is where we will stay. Great location, beautiful home. It was central to all our activities. Owners are great to work with. I highly recommend this property to anyone.

Heber City House Review

The house worked out really well for our group consisting of ten guys on a long golf weekend. It was quite spacious and conveniently located to downtown Heber City (just a few miles east) and the Red Ledges golf development. Our crew loved the spacious kitchen, clean rooms, foosball table, satellite TV, and oversized dining room table perfect for late night poker! The only advice on booking the house would be to confirm the exact number of beds prior; one person in our group slept on the couch and few people slept on air mattresses provided. Otherwise, the place worked out really well and I would certainly recommend the house to another similar group or family reunion.

My family and I recently rented your home in Heber as the place to gather our scattered married children and grandchildren. It was the perfect "rustic/elegant" home to be able to spread out over three floors and yet have a comfy place to gather everyone together each evening. The children LOVED the fishing pond and hot tub. We were able to take day trips very near by on Heber Creeper, river rafting, hiking and to the Alpine Slide and return to the spectacular view of your beautiful valley! Thank you so much!

We just had the pleasure of staying at the Home in the Crossings. With 15 individuals including 12 adults and 3 children from 4 different States, our week long Family Reunion went off without a hitch. The home provide comfortable sleeping for all. We stayed here for a family reunion and had a great time. The bedrooms seemed very well insulated so sleeping children never woke up during the late-night games the older kids and adults played. Having two tables was also very handy during meal times for our large group. Unfortunately the hot tub was broken so we were not able to use that. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely. Main Street Heber with its stores was very close by (helpful when everyone seems to need to go to the grocery store at least once a day). The home was very clean and the plethora of extra blankets and pillows was handy. Were the .82 acres really all landscaped? It seemed like most of it was brush.

Owner response:We are very sorry about the hot tub. We got it fixed as soon as possible, and it is now working great. The yard is landscaped, but not the entire .82 acres. I will be putting in $5500 worth of additional turf in the next two weeks. Thanks for the review.

An Amazing Experience!

Our family stayed at "The Crossings" for our first family reunion. We had no idea what a wonderful property we had happened upon! We had 14 adults and 15 children (ages 11 yrs -6 months). The living room/kitchen area is spacious allowing us to all gather together, but still have areas for small groups to gather. The house is nicely furnished and exceptionally comfortable. The downstairs family room was perfect for our little kids to gather for fun. The kitchen is well stocked and allowed space for preparations by several people at one time. The bedrooms are more than adequate in size for our 6 families. One couple stayed in the study.The bathrooms are amazing! The only problem was that we were so busy being together and outdoors, that we were left with little time to enjoy the jetted tubs. The backyard, though small, was still great for our kids for a play area. The real hit of the trip for the family was the fishing pond. We were able to stay the entire weekend without loading up the kids for a day trip with the pond so near. The listing description accurately depicted the property. The photos were great, but not as great as the "real thing". The property was clean and well-maintained. The owner was helpful from our first contact. The property manager was more than helpful for any questions we had. I would most defiantly recommend "The Crossings" and in two-three years we would return for our next reunion. We all feel attached to this wonderful spot. Thank you for an amazing wonderful spot for our family to gather.

My family and I rented this home for our recent family reunion. It was perfect for all of us. We have many grandkids and 9 adults and wanted to find a place where we could all stay together and not have to separate at night when we put the kids to bed. We enjoyed the spacious bedroom suites that allowed us to all have our own sleeping/bathroom areas and then the nice family and great room areas. You couldn't find a more beautiful setting! We had a family night in the little park just down the street from the house. It has a fishing pond that is stocked just for this community. Plenty of picnic tables, a bike/run path and little streams my kids played in. It is also close to Park City where we spent a day. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your beautiful house! It was perfect for our family!

This house was a perfect place for a weekend escape. The pictures don't do the home justice, the rooms are larger and more spectacular than it appears online. We had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed to make all of our meals. There were plenty of bathroom and hot tub towels. The home was close to trails and to town. We hope to stay here again next summer.

We chose this house to host my father’s 70th birthday party. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. The house was open, spacious, and clean. The master bedroom had never ending views from its large windows. We saw many deer in all directions from the property. It felt secluded and quiet. It was fun to see and hear the wild life while sitting in the hot tub. Very peaceful. The walk to the pond was a delight. As people arrived, they were very impressed with the home. We went shopping in Park City which was convenient to get to from the house. The owner was very nice and easy to work with. We felt we got a great deal on the price of the home. It was refreshing to find a place big enough to hold a large family event in a price range that was affordable.

Weekend Away with The Family

My wife and I are empty nesters and enjoy this time in our lives. However, to gather the entire family together and spend the weekend is priceless. We looked for a place to allow our married children some privacy while allowing enough space to gather the entire family without feeling crowded. This home was perfect for our growing family of 12. The property is maintained in model home condition and had all the necessary furnishings to accomodate little children as well as the adults. I counted 25 head of deer crossing in the late afternoon as they moved to a place to bed down for the evening. What a beautiful place to enjoy the outdoor rural lifestyle while being close enough to get to all the convienences that we have come to expect. I recommend this property to others for a get-away experience that you will not forget. The property owner and others that assisted us with the rental were very accomodating and were willing to be flexible with our requests and needs in using this property.

We just got back from a week in Utah and we stayed at this property (3 adults and 4 kids). The house was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a nice treat at the end of the day. We all really enjoyed seeing the herd of deer outside the kitchen windows every morning. The kitchen is large and stocked with everything you need to prepare your own meals. The price was very reasonable; much better then paying for 2 hotel rooms for a week. The owner has family around the corner and they were very responsive and nice every time we had a question (including when we called them at 11pm because we couldn't lock the back door and as it turns out, the directions were in the house manual - oops!). I'd stay here again and would recommend this property.

This home was so beautiful inside and out. It was perfect for our large family's reunion. It was very clean and well stocked. There were plenty of beds and rooms for everyone and lots of fun outdoor things to do. Our only complaint was that the backyard was not very kid friendly for children 5 and under. There is a large window well with no cover and a hot tub with a top that the kids were able to unlatch and lift by themselves. So with very small children adult supervision is necessary at all times in the backyard. Luckily the front yard is large and we had brought our kids bikes so the kids were still able to run around. We would definitely stay there again.

My family rented the house for a week to attend my Son's wedding at Soldier Hollow, the site of the Olympic Torch lighting and several events of the Winter Olympics in 2002 and what a grand, glorious time we all had. The house was spectacular and made the event even more memorable. The hair and makeup stylist worked her magic in the master bath and the photographer captured the beautiful bride dressing for her day in the master suite so we will have picture memories of the occasion and the beautiful home and grounds shared by our family. We all wish to be able to return to "the best place" for a family reunion and see more of the surrounding valley and mountains that are truly breathtaking. The whole experience was handled courteously and professionally. WHAT A PLACE.

We all loved the home. It was spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to use. Our only suggestion would be the # of people and bed space. There are only spaces for 12 people on beds. Maybe with the air mattresses and couches there would be enough for 22 but it would be pushing it. It would be helpful to specify this in your description. The hot tub and fishing pond were a huge hit, thanks!

Owner response:It is true that we have 6 bedrooms and actual beds to sleep 12 people only. We try to always make that clear to renters. We are able to accomodate more people if they are willing to sleep on the three Queen Air Mattresses, the sectional couch or the two large Luv Sacs. Kids can alos sleep on the floor. :)

The location of this property was excellent, very private, and included a private fishing pond just down the street. You don't need a license to fish. We loved the house because our family could be doing several things at one time without disturbing others. It was very clean and the bedrooms were so cozy and inviting, especially the three rooms with the attached bathrooms. The owner was very helpful to answer all of my questions, and his sister lives in the same area, and she was very helpful to us. I would highly recommend this property to others!! We enjoyed other activities in the area like the main street park, Granny's ice cream, Wasatch Mt. Stake Park, golfing etc. You won't be disappointed if you stay here! It's awesome!!

Our family recently stayed here for an extended family gathering. The home is well equiped to handle a large group. This home is well kept and has a nice kitchen with seating capacity for several people. The children loved watching the deer that would appear in the lot next door and the busy squirrel that lived in the rocks at the front of the house. The owner was most accommodating and helpful with any questions or needs we had. This is a top of the line home that you and your family can enjoy during your vacation.

We stayed at this house for a women's retreat. The house was unbelievable! It was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. It was really easy to find too, which makes it nice for large groups. The only thing I would consider is keeping a close eye on kids when they play outside. There were some pretty dangerous landscaping aspects for kids (uncovered window wells, rocky drop offs, etc.). It was really a breathtaking property though and I hope we come back every year!

We held a retreat at this beautiful home. Everyone was so impressed when they arrived. The home was very comfortable and had everything you could need and more. We decided to stay at this home for a family get together this past April for 3 nights. We absolutely loved this home and enjoyed all the home had to offer. The owners were very accommodating and enjoyable to work with. We had to go to Salt Lake City a few times to pick up family members at the airport, and the drive was very easy and quick. The bedrooms were very spacious and location was great. My family wants to do this again and wants to stay in the same place.

Exceptional vacation home. Our group of 7 adults and four small children had a wonderful time. This home is very clean and well-maintained. The home far exceeded our expectations. My husband and I rent cabins in this area every 6 months and have for about 5 years now. We were amazed at the kindness shown by the owners. hey even helped us find a pizza joint in the nearby town. kudos to the owners for the BEST guest service we have ever had!!! As far as the house goes... the pictures do not do it even close to justice, it is BEAUTIFUL, very open, and everything doen to the carpet was very clean and "homey" feeling. I would not only recommend this home, I would say LOOK NO FURTHUR!!!! you guys are GREAT!

Our group of 5 couples and 1 single thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at this beautiful property! The house is in great condition and has plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen has a nice flow for lots of cooks and has plenty of kitchen gadgets to prepare any type of meal. We especially liked the griddle for cooking breakfast and the double-ovens for preparing tapas for our wine-tasting event. The hot tub was just right, and the views to the east watching the sunrise was a nice surprise. Would return if the opportunity arises again :)

Best Place We Have Ever Stayed!

In September of 2009 our family group of 17 adults and children stayed in this beautiful home for our annual family reunion. We have rented various places in the Heber Valley for our reunions the past several years, but nothing to compare with this. We loved it! It is the best place we have ever stayed. Everything was new and well taken care of. It is well decorated with lots of room to enjoy the surroundings. The owner and his sister were very pleasant to work with. We want to return again.

Wow, this home is truly spectacular! This home is roomy and very comfortable. We were especially impressed by the quality and size of the bathrooms, kitchen and closets. The view from the front porch was amazing. We loved watching the sun rise over the mountains in the morning and the full moon at night. This house is perfect for large groups yet affords a lot of privacy. It is well managed and the home and property are groomed like a mansion. A definate "go back to" place.

We had 10 adults and 6 small kids stay at this house for three nights and it worked out well for us. The house is very open and accommodates large groups very easily. Everything in the house is new and in good shape. The large round table with the Lazy Susan could fit all 10 adults and was very fun to play board games on. The A/C in the house worked well and kept the upstairs bedrooms very cool. We had a great time.

Our family members were impressed with the beautiful accomodations in this lovely home. The layout of the home was perfect for several families to stay at the same time because each family had their own private bedroom/bathroom area in the house. There is more than ample room for everyone to get together to eat and enjoy each other. This home is conveniently close to recreational activities, yet away from city. We loved it!

My family and I had a lovely stay at this home for a family reunion. The house was very comfortable and in excellent condition -- very new and clean. The setting of the house is beautiful -- in a new development in a pretty little valley to the east of Heber City. We saw lots of deer and a moose roaming through the surrounding trees.

We had a lovely getaway at your home. My boys loved the fishing pond and we loved the pathways for bike riding and going for walks around the community your home is located in. The home was very beautiful and well kept. Thanks for the fun vacation.

My first visit to Utah included a weekend stay at this spectacular home in Heber City. Everything was fabulous, including the great access to the cute little town of HC, Wasatch State Park and Park City. I didn't even have to leave the property for some great exploring within the development and across the street at the developing Red Ledges Golf Course. 9 deer walked through the yard upon my arrival (I still think they were scheduled!). The master bath was to die for and waking up to the view in the Master Bedroom was well worth it. Splurge a little and stay at this house...it's well worth it! Thanks to Shaun and Chelsea for being great hosts; I do plan to return when I can! ~Jules
