Unit Description:
LOFT SUITE- This unique Two-Level luxury suite is among the largest units at the Iron Blosam. It is sometimes described as having a "sophisticated alpine" decor which includes a unique corner fireplace, a Two-Story wall of glass, a cedar planked ceiling and many other fine decorative appointments. (My favorite is early morning, sipping coffee, watching the sun come up over Snowbird mountain - through my 17' high wall of glass. The mountain views are truly spectacular.)
MAIN LEVEL DESCRIPTION:
Full Kitchen stocked with all essentials: Stove, microwave, DW, coffee maker, dishes, utensils, pots & pans.
Breakfast Bar w/ stools and Dining Table
Spacious Two-Story Living Room with corner fireplace, cable TV and comfortable seating.
Outdoor balcony to sit and take in the mountain air and views.
Living room converts to sleeping for 4 with a *Queen sofa bed and a Queen Wall bed. *UPDATED FOR 2008- BRAND NEW QUEEN SOFA BED! Full bathroom with extra vanity/bowl in large dressing area.
*UPPER LEVEL DESCRIPTION:
Open Loft Bedroom with Two (2) Queen size beds and cable TV. Very cozy and comfortable with full glass mountain views.
Full Bathroom with extra vanity/bowl in large dressing area.
(Note: You will love the dressing areas - oversized counterspace for all your sundries with drawers and hanging space too.)
*NOTE: This upper level is on the 5th floor - which allows for an easy exit out through the side entrance when taking a short walk to the Snowbird Center for shopping, exploring or dining out. This is a favorite walk path to the Snowbird Center - no cars, no trucks- just a short peaceful alpine walk.

AMENITIES:
Restaurants - Many great places to eat inside the resort area. My family's favorites are the Steak Pit in the Snowbird Center - just a few minutes walk away. They serve excellent steaks, seafood and salads with good prices too. Also the Wildflower Restaurant on Level 3 of the Iron Blosam Lodge. The world renowned chef at the Wildflower specializes in Italian cuisine. An excellent choice and only a short elevator ride away.
NOTE: If you are in the mood for your favorite national chain - in less than 30 minutes you will find such favorites as TGI Fridays, AppleBees, Chili's, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Ruth Chris Steaks, Romano Macaroni Grille and many others. (My son, Justin's favorite was TGI Fridays where he had his birthday dinner there many years - all good memories)
Pool Fun - The Iron Blosam has a awesome heated outdoor pool. Who would have thought? - you can have summertime pool fun even when the snow is falling. That is exactly the kind of fun my kids and I have had over many years - something you will never forget. There is also a large indoor Hot Tub, steam room, exercise room and sauna.
(Multi-Tasking Tip: My wife, Janice would often start a load of laundry and then head off to enjoy the pool area - both on the 2nd floor.)
Shopping - Snowbird Center has plenty of fine shops like the General Gritt grocery, pharmacy/post office, gifts shops, souvenir stores, jewelry shops, ski and clothing stores, photo shops and many others. We all know how important the shopping is and Snowbird Resort has it. (If this is not enough - then a 30 minute drive to Salt Lake City can reveal such places as the Crossroads Mall, Trolley Square or Outlet Shopping in Sandy. All great places to visit and enjoy.)
Spa and Salon - Why not pamper & re-energize yourself with a massage and facial at the Cliff Lodge Spa.
Nightlife - Enjoy yourself at the Wildflower Lounge, the Lodge Bistro, The El Chanate, the Aerie Lounge and the Tram Room lounge. All great places to relax, drink and enjoy friends.
SUPER BOWL FUN- Stop-in at the Wildflower Lounge on SUPER BOWL SUNDAY - Jan. 31, 2010 to watch the game on the big screen. Just a short elevator ride away inside the Iron Blosam Lodge.
BASKETBALL FANS- Why not take the kids to see the UTAH JAZZ NBA Basketball team at the exciting Delta Center-just a short 30 minute drive from Snowbird.
(My son, Justin and I cheered the Jazz to victory and had a great time.)
Skiing - "THE SKIING IS INCREDIBLE - YOU WILL LOVE IT!"

11 lifts including tram and 89 runs
Access to lift: Simply pickup your lift ticket at the Iron Blosam front desk, grab your gear, exit through the front door and just a few steps walk across the driveway to the Wilbere Lift right in front of Iron Blosam Lodge. No loading, no traffic, no parking and no worries.
For Lunch on the mountain - stop at the Mid Gad Restaurant which you will find mid mountain. Or enjoy freshly grilled hamburgers or chicken in the open air courtyard next to the Tram Lift. This is my favorite lunch spot- open air, sunshine, nice people and spectacular mountain views- it just doesn't get any better.
Beginner Skiing- the Chickadee slope is the perfect place to learn for kids and adults alike. (My kids, Justin and Michelle learned to ski on Chickadee slope and it was great fun.)
