We have just returned home from a 23 day stay in Maui at the "Boone 5 Condo" where we had a fabulous time! Everything that you could possibly want or need was available for our use - the King size bed was really comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped and there were coolers, beach towels and beach chairs available for our use. The unit is just as it is pictured it is very spacious, nicely decorated with fantastic photos on the walls and having a large lanai to relax on is a real plus. The condo is about a 2 or 3 minute walk from one of the nicest beaches on Maui. This is about our 10th visit to the Kamaole Sands complex we found that the "Boone 5 Condo" was by far the nicest one we have ever stayed in we will definitely be back and would not hesitate to recommend it to our family and friends. We had the good fortune to come across "Boone 5 Condo" on VRBO. The condo is beautiful and very well equipped and maintained. It really is just like the pictures! The lanai closet is well stocked with everything you need for the beach and the ground floor condo location provides easy beach access. We have been in other condos at the Kamaole Sands and there is no comparison. Tim and LuAnn were very helpful and provided great tips for our stay. We would highly recommend Boone 5 Condo and hope to stay again in the future!

This condo was great. I have stayed at Kam Sands before but this condo was by far the best place I've stayed. The condo is well loved and taken care of, updated nicely and is fully stocked for all of your needs! Would love to go back!

Great Condo in a great area!

The condo was beautiful with all the amenities of home. The views from the lanai were wonderful. Very nice to have a dishwasher and washer and dryer. The bed was very comfortable. We were surprised at how quiet it was at night, we turned on the fan in the bedroom at night and never heard any noise. Weather was perfect, mid 80's during the day and 70 at night. The condo facilities were very nice, beautifully landscaped, pool was nice and not very busy, the grills were great. Staff at the front desk were very helpful. We enjoyed the free Mai Tai party on Wednesday afternoon. There are beautiful beaches across the street and in the area. Our favorite activities were driving to Hana, we drove all the way around and the sites were breath taking and we went on a great snorkeling trip. There was a "Maui Revealed" book in the condo and a CD to play on the way to Hana, both were great resources for our drive to Hana. The snorkeling trip we took was to Molokini through the Pacfic Whale Foundation. We saw tons of fish in crystal clear blue water and then went to a 2nd spot to see Sea turtles. We didn't want to leave!

It was our 4th trip to Maui and also the 4th time at Kamaole Sands. The location is great since the beach is literally 2 minutes away, there are great places to eat within a short walking distance but it's still quiet and not busy. Fred's is only a short walk away and a great place to eat! Of the 4 units we've stayed in, this was certainly the best. Easy access to the beach, a large lanai and still close to the BBQs. The kitchen is nicely stocked and modern and the king bed is great when 10:00pm comes around and the whole town shuts down. Not to worry, you'll be ready for bed at 10:00! In a nutshell, we definitely recommend this condo!

Boone 5 Condo, Great Choice for Snorkelers & Beach Lovers

We had a great time during our stay in Boone 5 Condo. It is a fine condo with nice decor & it is very fully stocked with useful items, from cookware to reef fish identification books (not one but two of the best!). The southern Kihei location is an excellent one -- it is walking distance to some excellent restaurants & also to the Kihei boat ramp (making it very convenient for Molokini visits). Plus it is within an easy drive of LOTS of outstanding spots for snorkeling from shore. Very hard to leave.

I have been going to Maui once or twice a year for about 22 years and staying at the Kamaole Sands in South Kihei, I have on occasion stayed in other resorts around Maui but always return to the Kamaole Sands... The “Boone 5 Condo” at Kamaole Sands is by far the best I have stayed at. The extensive remodeling is not only aesthetically pleasing but functional.Having an Island agent is also a plus. Nice job Tim & LuAnn, hopefully “Boone 5 Condo” will be available this next year for another 2 or 3 weeks.

This was our third time staying at the Boone 5 condo and it just keeps getting better and better! We started our vacation at the Westin in Kaanapali - yes, it was lovely, but we felt like we had arrived 'home' when we got to the Boone's condo! They have everything you need - lots of space, a beautiful lanai, fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable king size bed...the list could go on and on! The beaches in Kihei, Wailea and Makena are beautiful. There are many good restaurants to choose from or you can take advantage of the great kitchen in the condo and cook up something delicious! Now we just have to figure out a way to go more often! We highly recomment this condo...everything is perfect!

We had a wonderful vacation at "Boone 5". Your condo was everything you said it would be and more! This was our 2nd time at Kamaole Sands and as far as we are concerned there is no other place on Maui we would rather be. And the view from 10-113 was incredible....those sunsets!!!! 2013 here we come......

You can't ask for anything more from this. Great location in Kihei, so close to the beach, and surprisingly quiet in a busy area. Also, a great plus for parents was the huge HD TV and PVR. We were able to watch shows after the kids went to bed. The condo is fully stocked with everything from pool toys, coolers and towels. All the comforts of home. It's perfect!

Sadly, we have just returned from our Maui vacation. We loved it! Your place made the stay. The pictures on your website are very accurate. Your suite is very creature comfort designed and “fully stocked kitchen” is a good description. Doris was also really kind and helpful. She keeps the place great! Kamaole Sands is a beautiful property. The pool and hot tub area are well kept and lounge seating is plentiful (the pool area is actually even nicer than the picture shows). The BBQ area is also well kept and easy to use. The illuminated fountain area just across from your Lanai make a beautiful evening atmosphere, as sunset is so early. We got to see turtles while we were snorkelling! (amazing) Go to Tommy Bahama's for happy hour! Can’t wait to return!

Our 28 day stay in the Boone 5 Condo was the best accommodation we have experienced in all our trips to Hawaii. Location, size and view from the lani is the best in the complex and would have been enough to make us happy. In addition, the furniture, stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer, T.V.'s and accessories were top of the line! The Boone's were great to work with, being very cooperative and efficient. We felt the condo was a 'home away from home' and have already booked it for next year.

Hello Boones! We are leaving paradise tomorrow, and i wanted to write a few words before going home to the dreary cold! your place is lovely. this is our third time staying at kam sands, the location is great, pool is perfect for kids, and everyone is always very friendly. this time, tho, we also had the added bonus of a VERY well equipped condo to call home for two weeks. it was so nice to see amenities similar to those we would use in our own home. from the china to the henckel knife block to the t-fal pots and pans, everything is great quality. these are the kinds of things that make a difference to us. nice sheets, comfy furniture, and my husband was THRILLED to see the new plasma TV with PVR for football/baseball watching in the evenings. we hope to come back for a month next year and would be soooo happy to rent your place again if it's available. ps - location is also fabulous. stayed in bldg 8 and 6 previous years, bldg 10 is far superior. thanks again! sara, scott, fiona and thomas laurie

We recently spent 16 nights at the Boone's condo. This was our second time staying there. It was absolutely heavenly! We have already booked to go back next year - but seriously, we would go back sooner if we could! Everything about the condo is top-notch: the location, the ammenities, the near-by beaches. We have nothing negative to say. The owner is great to work with and the condo has everything you need. We highly recommend this condo.

The "Boone 5 Condo" is definitely a "10"! The pictures on the site were a very good assessment of the actual condo's appearance. Tim was very helpful throughout the rental process with any questions or concerns we had. We've stayed at Kamaole Sands for the past 10 summers. All of our experiences have been good ones, but this condo by far surpasses the rest. My concern initially was the first floor location and the noise potential...but it was absolutely wonderful..and quiet! In fact, to my surprise I now LOVE the first floor with it's easy access to the grills, beach and parking lot. The condo kitchen is fully stocked with wonderful updated appliances and utensils, pots, pans, etc. The king size bed is wonderfully comfortable which was a nice treat after a long, exciting day at the beach or site seeing on the island. The best beach in Kihei according to our family's needs is directly across the street, it's not crowded, it is clean, and has very attentive life guards watching everyone's location among the waves. It's also worth mentioning the prime location of the condo's large lanai. It is perfectly situated directly in view of the beautifully landscaped fountains. At night the fountain's lights are turned on and the atmosphere in the condo is amazing. The availability to the farmers market in Kihei for pineapples and vegetables is great and we loved going to the Swap Meet at Maui Community College for crafts, flowers, and produce. The restaurant at Five Palms is always a hit too and it's in walking distance from the condo! Our family was very comfortable in Boone 5 and we will certainly try to rent it again on our next trip to Maui. This is definitely at the top of the condo list for recommendations to our friends for their trips as well.

Petersens' Maui Trip at the "Boone 5"

Our family had the best time staying at the Boone 5 condo. Our trip was two weeks and we loved it the whole time. The condo was perfect with all we needed right there for us. Plenty of beach toys including snorkel gear, boogie boards, chairs, toys etc... The inside was great. The beds, kitchen, bathrooms were all first class and top of the line. Great swimming pool area with two hot tubes, ping pong, foosball, workout room and just a great setting. The bar-ba-que area was just around the corner from the back door of the condo. Six large gas grills at your convienience. We would highly recommend the Boone 5 to all, from a family of four to a honeymoon trip for two. Thanks again Tim and Luann, we had a great time. Can not wait to visit again in the future.

My friend and I visited the condo in April 2010 and had a great time. The condo is very clean and newly decorated. The lanai was our favorite place and we walked on the beach each morning and evening. Restaurants and bars really close by, can walk if you want. The beaches across the street are not too crowded and some of the most beautiful in the world. The Boone's gave us all of the information that we needed to have the time of our life! The condo has all the stuff you could ever need and is the perfect place for your vacation!

Christmas 2009 and New Years 2010! What a wonderful condo to stay in and done in good taste. The Boone's are great to work with, too! Their condo has everything you will need to stay in Maui at a great value and it's comfy. Our family of 4 did just great for 15 days. The condo is very well equipped. They even have boogie boards, beach chairs, nice big beach towels, a cooler and now a skim board for their guests to use. Even though you are enjoying yourself, take care of it as though it were yours so others can experience it positively! We would highly recommend staying in 10-113. The view and location is truly worth it. Easy access for walks to Fred's Taco Tuesday night and of course the beaches. Thank you to the Boone family for the use of their condo. We will definitely be booking with you again in the future!!!

My husband and I stayed here for nine wonderful days after Thanksgiving. We would definitely stay here again. Everyone we dealt with was very pleasant and the condo was very comfortable, well-equipped, and in a great location. My husband sometimes has difficulty walking and appreciated that the parking was close to the unit.

We had an amazing time in Maui with our extended family! Our unit was the most comfortable and well-equipped compared to our relatives who were also staying at Kamaole Sands. Needless to say, we hosted family dinners every night, as well as snacks on the ample lanai in the afternoons. Loved having a view of the beautiful beach at Kamaole 3. The updated furnishings also made our stay more comfortable. I would definintely recommend this unit to other travelers looking for a comfortable get-away.

My husband and I just returned from 15 days at the Boone 5 condo. What a great vacation! We have stayed at Kamaole Sands many times before, but this condo is by far the nicest. The owners have put much thought and love into their home away from home. The location of the condo in the complex is perfect, close to the street without the noise, with a lovely view of the gardens, fountains and sunsets. Kamaole Sands is close to many wonderful beaches. We usually went to two different beaches every day - one in the morning, then home for lunch and a different one in the afternoon. We checked out some condos in Wailea, but we found the prices very high. The Boone 5 condo is excellent value! The owners are very pleasant to deal with and the cleaning lady was extremely helpful. We are looking forward to going back as soon as possible!

Once United Airlines got their act together, and we arrived in Maui a day late, (last October), we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. Great location! Comfortable bed and furnishings, good AC for the occasional hour we used it, and the fold up chairs and mats etc in the lanai closet were very welcomed. We'd gladly stay here again, but looking at the calendar, the secret is out, and they are (justifiably) booked for most of the fall and winter. We have stayed at Kamaole Sands on numerous occasions and have often thought how nice it would be to stay in Building 10. We recently stayed at the Boone 5 condo were extremely happy with our choice. We can tell you that Building 10 and the Boone 5 condo tops them all. This condo is a prime location, ground floor and beautifully furnished. A modern kitchen reno including top of the line appliances. We enjoyed the large lanai with magnificent sunset/ocean views infront of the lush gardens and fountains. South Kihei is such a great location on Maui. Close to Wailea and all the wonderful local area beaches. A 45 minute drive north gets you to Lahaina, Kaanapali, Napili. We have always enjoyed snorkelling at Kaanapali and Slaughter House beaches. On our next trip to Maui we would consider the Boone 5 condo again and will certainly recommend this condo to our family and friends.

3rd day back home from Boone 5 paradise. So much to enjoy there! I remember a few months ago looking at this web site and reading some guests reviews and thinking scetpicaly: Yeah, right, sure, like we don't know how to use Photoshop and do whatever to attract customers... Well, I'm happy to reassure you - all the previous comments are TRUE along with the owners' pictures of condo itself. The condo is absolutely stunning, recently redone with such love and style, sparkling clean, odor-free. king size bed, soft sheets and towels, 2 new TVs, high-end living room furniture, appliances and kitchenware, fun sand toys, new beach towels, great fins and boogyboards, new ACs (which we didn't need to use at all thanks to the ground floor and ocean breeze). Locationwise it was also perfect for us - stroll down to the beach, dip in the shady kiddie pool afternoon, enjoy breathtaking sunsets on lanai, facing the ocean and well manicured garden with lighted fountains... While there, we visited some open houses on the property - nothing even close to the exclusiveness of Boone 5 condo! The owners themselves are very nice, pleasant to deal with, very thoughtful and kind hearted people. Thank you Tim & LuAnn, we sure would love to rent a Boone 5 condo again and will recomend it even to our most sceptical and picky friends without any hesitation!!!

WOW!! Look no further for the perfect Condo at Kamaole Sands. The Boone 5 Condo features all new high end appliances, furnishings, cook and dishware. We've stayed at many Kamaole Sands condos over the years and this one tops them all. The HD big screen TV is also a great addition. This ground floor condo faces Kamaole III beach and has a view of evening sunsets and nice tropical breezes when the doors and windows are opened up. We stayed from June 12th to June 25th, 2009. You'll love the BIG comfortable King bed and all the pillows!! This will be the only condo I book from now on. No need to look anywhere else. Thanks Tim!!

As a former long time resident of Maui, I have stayed at several Kamaole Sands units. The Boone condo was a pleasure to stay in. It was newly and tasefully remodeled with a cozy island flair that made my recent stay very enjoyable. Having a first floor unit was wonderful with a nice private lanai looking out to the yard and fountain. This gave an extra measure of privacy as opposed to those units that open up to the pool area. The unit was fully stocked with all the appropriate tourist gear (beach towels, boogie boards, etc.) and the linens and bath towels were first class. Building 10 is one of the closest walks to the beach out the back entrance. I would strongly recommend this unit for those looking for a clean, quiet and convenient vacation condo.
