Owner Description

As general contractors and custom home builders we have paid attention to every detail while building the Cabin. This property sits next to our vacation home "Elk Trail Lodge" so of course we chose to call this cabin "Elk Trail Cabin". We are blessed to be able to share this amazing mountain retreat with special guests. It is truly a wonderful place to spend time with family and friends.

The Unique Benefits of this Cabin

White Pass ski area doubled in size in 2011, it's a wonderful family ski area they also just added a second lodge at the top of the mountain. It has the best view of Mt Rainier in the state!

Wonderful vacation property!

I stayed here for three nights in August 2011 for a "girlfriend hiking get-away". The home was perfect! We hiked in the Goat Rocks area, and returned to wonderful meals in the gourmet kitchen and outdoor BBQ. We relaxed in the very comfy living room and deck talking and laughing into the wee hours!. We even "partook" in the hot tub! The furnishings were top notch, very comfortable beds, and the kitchen had everything needed. We experienced the herd of elk crossing in front of the home, meteor shower at night, and more. I am a little picky about the places I stay, and I can say without hesitation that I would definitely recommend this vacation home and will undoubtedly return...perhaps for skiing/snowboarding with the family! Thanks Carie for a very wonderful/memorable experience. My only hesitation in posting this review is that the home will get "found out" and might be difficult for me to book in the future!!!

Owner response:Thank you so much for the kind review. I know what a wonderful time you had last summer! We would love to have you back anytime. Sincerely Carie Lawrence~

Elk Trail Cabin

We just returned from a week in this beautiful cabin. What a great place to come "home" to after day trekking to near by Mt. Rainier, St. Helen's or Seattle. There was more than enough room for our family of four to spread out, with the fabulously comfortable great room affording us together time, as well. The views are spectacular from anywhere in the cabin, as well as from the large deck. Early morning time was especially beautiful. We were visited by at least 17 elk in the evening, as they wandered through the yard. The owners are extremely gracious and easy to work with, and have considered every amenity and creature comfort in furnishing this getaway. Usually, we are anxious to get home after a week of vacation, but this time, we truly saddened to see the week end. Elk Trail Cabin is good for the body, mind and soul.

This is definately one of the best get-away places our family has ever stayed at. The Lawrences spared no expense in building this luxury cabin. We were greeted each morning of our 3 night stay with elk - the elk are even in town walking the streets like they have lived there all of their lives. All of the beds are wonderfully comfortable with warm flannel sheets and the king has a feather bed. The kitchen was great to cook in. We had our family Thanksgiving Dinner, and Carie had all the right amenities for me to cook with all day. We really enjoyed the hot-tub, loving the six jet massaging seat the most. The floor to ceiling rock fireplace was awesome along with all of the elk/cabin decor. The bathrooms are stocked with all of the comforts and amenities you could ever need. The home is VERY clean, brand new and truly a gem in the wilderness. The owners were incredibly easy to work with and a true blessing to us. To say we enjoyed our stay, is a true understatement. We will definately come back again.
