We welcome you to a taste of classy beach vacationing at Sea Cliff Cottage with a panoramic view of the inviting Oregon coast! Staged on coastal cliffs is this cozy two bedroom plus master sleeping suite/two bath house, completely furnished with amenities to make your stay comforting and enjoyable. This home is located six and a half miles south of Newport and two miles north of Seal Rock. You will find yourself surrounded by numerous tourist attractions at the Central Oregon coast such as: whale-watching, exploring three lighthouses, touring the Oregon Coast Aquarium, riding dune buggies on the coastal dunes, hiking, boating, and much, much more. An in-house visitor's packet is provided to help you in selecting day trips & activities to the North, South, and East of Sea Cliff.
Inside you will find your choice of sleeping quarters, each with a queen bed: Wren's Rest in a garden theme, Pelican's Perch in a nautical theme; and Sea Cliff Suite is the Master sleeping room with queen bed, table and chairs, dressers, and hanging clothes rack and is separated at the end of the kitchen with curtains and room divider. This bedroom also has the spectacular ocean view. All linens are provided for beds, baths, and kitchen-which is fully equipped for your cooking adventures. Sea Cliff also features an open sunroom for lounging and dining. The main dining room overlooks the surf; and the living room offers satellite television, DVD with video library, CD player, and wood stove for added warmth & comfort(wood provided). Outside you will find solitude in the garden setting in front, or absorb the surf sights and sounds on the wrap-around deck in the back.
Feel the surf for yourself as just yards away a trail leads you down to the beach for morning/evening strolls, beach-combing, wading, dog walking, etc. An attached garage is available for one vehicle and off-street parking in front of the house for another. Your pets are welcome to stay too! Cottage management is also nearby for quick response to any questions/problems.
This time of year is alive with winter storms which include pounding surf, thunderous waves, and stormy winds for which you have a front seat view from safe inside.

Why the Owner Chose Newport
We first visited the Oregon Coast in 1989, and after living in the desert for years, we fell in love with the central Oregon Coast. We purchased a home in the Lincoln City area and in 1994 we decided to look for an ocean front home in the Newport/Waldport area and found Sea Cliff. We purchased it as a fixer-upper and after considerable remodeling, we enjoyed it as our home for 12 years. In 2008 we created Sea Cliff for our guests to enjoy a home away from home. The central coast has so much to offer in landscaping and activity-it's a beautiful place to live.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The surf lull at Sea Cliff is perfectly soothing for the painter, reader, observer. Nothing else seems to exist but you and the ocean.
From Sea Cliff's driveway, you will walk a short 75 yds to the beach trail, then onto the beach in a minute or two.

"Inspired by the Sea" created Sea Cliff. This oceanfront home was our residence for 12 years prior to finding our new home in Seal Rock in 2006. In 2008 Patti, a retired VP of the largest bank in Arizona, remodeled Sea Cliff with the idea of making it the most relaxing place on the Oregon Coast. Dan was a professional baseball player for 10 years and is now the CEO and president of The Schneider Group Commercial & Industrial Insurance business in Tuscon, AZ. We spend most of the year in Tubac, AZ on a 6 acre ranch near the Mexico border. We have 6 children and 9 grandchildren. Please plan to have a relaxing experience at Sea Cliff soon!
