This large CBS home on the open ocean has a large living room and kitchen with unobstructed ocean view. There is a large second living room on the rear of the home for entertaining or TV watching. A new 12 x 26 in ground heated pool has just been added with LED lighting over looking the ocean.
Boats can be launched on the property and a large wood dock provided for docking or observing the sunset. Sunsets from the living room or porch are unobstructed.
The kitchen is fully furnished and has forty feet of cabinets with a center counter with drop-in stove and breakfast center.
All rooms have ceiling fans to compliment the central air conditioning. The master bedroom has king size bed.
Bedroom two has a queen size bed and bedroom three has two single beds. A rollout sofa offers a double bed in the rear living room.
A cup of coffee in the early morning takes on special meaning with the abundant bird and marine life that can be observed from the living room, kitchen and porch over looking the ocean. To complete the day a glass of wine to celebrate the sunset. Life is good!

My family of five, plus our dog, arrived to a spotless home, a magnificent view and a homemade Key Lime Pie to welcome us to paradise. Our hosts were extremely helpful, informative and gracious and Cudjoe Key is a perfect location for a mix of relaxation and some nighttime fun in Key West. My family and our occasional guests fit comfortably in this spacious home. The home is larger than it looks in the photos! There were many days that we woke up with big plans, but never left the pool and the ocean view, it was just too beautiful!! When I'm having a rough day, I close my eyes and picture myself back at that house, looking out over the water, and it helps me through... until the next time we visit.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway.

This was probably the best experince i have ever had in the keys, from the booking process with Barbara the house being better than described and dont forget the charter trip with them. First we arrived to this beautiful home with direct access to the atlantic. The diving and the fising in the area is second to none. And if you stay you must do a charter with Capt. Jim and his Mate John even if you bring your own boat down as we did you will not be dissappointed we weren't. All we have to say is thank you Barbra and Jim for the best trip ever, hope you faired well through issac.Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

The best part of this house is the location and the VIEW!!! It was absolutely wonderful. The house was adequately equipped and met most of our needs and those of our guests. The new inground pool and tiki hut were used often and were very much appreciated. My husband's favorite part was the boat ramp which allowed us to launch our small boat that we brought with us, as well as the ample dock to fish from. It made for very easy access to the bay and all of those snappers! Jim and Barbara, the owners, were very accommodating and most helpful with all of our questions and concerns. The easy drive to Key West was great for picking up all of our guests; just 25-30 minutes. We had a very nice time and enjoyed our stay.Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We could not have asked for more at this location. The views were spectacular, the pool was awesome, and the house was great! Kitchen was fully equipped for cooking/baking everyday... which we did! The sunset is breathtaking every single evening. Our dogs loved vacation as much as we did. We had dinner at The Square Grouper, which is very close to the house (we rode our bikes) and it was amazing! The weather was perfect the entire time we stayed. The owners are the sweetest people I've ever met, and were extremely helpful and made us feel at home... Would enjoy staying in Cudjoe at this location every year. Would highly recommend this getaway to friends/family. Thanks again to the owners!Recommended for: Pet owners, sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

The location is perfect only 20 minutes to key West, located on the ocean in a quite neiborhood. We really enjoyed the new pool and patio on the ocean. The porch, living room and kitchen over look the unobstructed view of the ocean from the house. About the owner: I am a charter boat captain and retired Miami Fire Fighter. My wife and I built our home on Cudjoe Key where we lived and raised our two children. We selected this location because of the beautiful ocean view and easy excess to the water ocean and gulf side. We enjoyed boating, lobstering, diving and fishing right in our back yard. We originally came from Miami but vacationed in the Keys at every opportunity until we built our vacation rental here on Cudjoe. Our home became too large for my wife and I after our children left the nest. We built a smaller home on Summerland Key. One of the best restaurants in the Keys is located within walking distance from our vacation rental. 'Square Grouper' Bahia Honda State park voted one of the best beaches in the world is just a ten minute drive away and Key West is only twenty minutes in the opposite direction. We still operate our fishing charter business and offer a variety of fishing adventures to our clients.
Why the Owner Chose Cudjoe Key:
We chose to build in this location because of the location; Quiet area with unobstructed view of the ocean from living room, kitchen, screened porch, heated pool, tike hut and patio. Excellent boating access to Gulf and Ocean, fishing, diving snorkeling, and all sorts of water sports. Great restaurants and shopping close by. Ten minutes to Bahia Honda State park voted one of the best beaches in the world. Twenty minute drive to Key West.
