We had a great time staying in your wonderful mountain home in Tahoe Donner. We had a great 4 day reunion with my sister's family and our father. You have a beautiful home and your well stocked kitchen made a few family meals easy to prepare. It was our first time staying in Tahoe Donner and found it to be very peaceful, especially on the large outside deck. We brought the kids to the Donner Lake HOA beach one day which they thoroughly enjoyed. We look forward to another visit soon.

TOO SHORT!

We stayed at this beautiful cabin for 2 nights in July. We had a large group (10) and there was plenty of room for all of us. I especially loved that there were towels and sheets in every room and the house was remarkably clean and neat. It also had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare food. It was so peaceful there. We went for a couple of walks around the neighborhood and sat out on the deck - so relaxing! We went to the beach and did some shopping in downtown truckee. There are some great restaurants there too. Our only complaint was that the trip was TOO SHORT! We would have loved to stay longer and definitely will next time. Next time we'd like to visit in the winter or try the Truckee River in the summer. Thanks for a fabulous weekend!

We recently stayed in this lovely home for a family reunion, which included 6 adults and 4 children. The house was fantastic - very spacious for our group and the kitchen was well supplied to meet all our cooking needs. The loft easily served as a 5th bedroom for my son and his cousin. We were there for a heavy snow week, and the plow service was outstanding and timely. The level access driveway made it very easy for us to get in and out readily, even with the deep snow conditions. We also used the Trout Creek Recreation Center - access passes are a very nice perk with the rental. Finally, the owners were extremely helpful in coordinating the rental and have an excellent set of instructions on house use and access. We will definitely return to this house in the future!

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Darrell, We had a wonderful time in your lovely Tahoe Donner home! Your place is spacious, well appointed with all of the conveniences of home, tastefully decorated while still being very child friendly!! We really enjoyed our stay and my children had a blast with the closet full of toys. We arrived Monday afternoon about 3:30pm--it was snowing and a slow drive, but fortunately CalTrans lifted chain control before we hit the mountains...chains in April....???? !!!! Thank you again for allowing us to rent your home. We had a memorable and very comfortable ski vacation--first time skiing for our 4 year old twins!

Just got home from our fantastic family weekend in your beautiful home! Thank you for allowing us the extra time. We actually met your cleaning lady as we were finishing leaving: she seems very nice. The house was so clean when we arrived - she does a great job. Our 6 & 4 year old grandsons we thrilled that you have boys alittle older than them and they thoroughly enjoyed the toys. We made a sledding run out front and a snowman out back. The house is very comfortable and well stocked with very nice furniture (love the coffee table) and the best of everything. Thank you for allowing us to use your house to build our family memories.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. There were 3 families (6 adults and 5 children ages 3-8). There was room enough for all, and at one point I found myself sitting in the living room reading a book alone while everyone else had found something to do in this huge house! The wiFi and DirecTv were great, and the sledding hill was awesome. We will definetly be back! The kids LOVED the gameroom.

We rented this cabin because of all the positive comments I read on VRBO, and we were very pleased to see that everyone was right on! The cabin is beautiful, easy to get to, huge, clean, and so open. We had a large group, including kids ages 2-11, and there was something for everyone, we had a great time and will definitely be back again, hopefully for a longer stay next time!

This is a beautiful home that accomodated my family very nicely (eight adults). We spent the SuperBowl weekend there and were very pleased with having cable and WiFi available. Having a flat entrance to the garage is a definite plus. We look forward to returning.

We just spent a spectacular 3 days at this beautiful house. It was perfect for our large extended family. The yard was so great we never had to drive to the snow park, just created our own sled track out front! We'll be back soon!

Loved the house! Large enough to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The kids made a snowman and built a sliding hill right in the side yard. We will be back again.

Our entire group had a great time last weekend! Great skiing and great house! We've stayed in quite a few homes in Tahoe Donner and this house was the best. Very nice kitchen, and huge. Worked great for our 2 families. Fairly flat wide driveway and great big garage for easy winter access. Looking forward to staying there again.

Beautifully decorated home with spacious floor plan, plenty of play room for adults or children. Lovely huge deck with comfortable table and chairs with a great view of, well, trees! (my personal favorite) Quiet, restful and stocked with everything we needed. Hope to return.

The cabin was awesome. Way nicer than we expected. Pictures don't do it justice. The cabin is very large and is comfortable for large groups. We had a great time and will use it again.

Just wanted to say we had a wonderful time. We used the home over the Christmas break and again for President's week. The house is large enough for 6 adults and 4 kids!! THe open floor plan on the main floor was great. The house is in a great location, it was quiet, the kids could play outside and snowshoe though the area. I would highly recommend the house and will be there again. virginia

This is a beautiful home, much nicer than in the pictures. It's also huge - we were four families and were quite comfortable. There is a nice loft with a TV & games - ideal for older children. Quite a bit of space around it - kids had fun sledding (though there isn't really much of a slope) and building snow men.

My brother and my family had the pleasure to stay at the house over the holiday period. There were 10 of us (4 adults & 6 kids). It was a spacious, comfortable & clearly well-cared for, 2 level house with lots of space for 2 families. The house had a dining table large enough to accomodate everyone and the kitchen/dining area is also spacious. The great room, kitchen & dining area all have high-ceiling, and it has a nice loft area with a foosball table - which was fun for the kids. There was also a side yard area where our kids made snowman and made snow angels - which was also a blast. It was a thoroughly relaxing vacation with some nice memories. I hope we can visit again in the near future.
