The Cape Cod National Seashore is an easy walk or drive as there is an underpass crossing Route 6 so there's no need to deal with the traffic. Ballston Beach is 2 miles away with it's surrounding breathtaking bluffs and extensive hiking trails. Cycle down quiet Old County road to Wellfleet Harbor and have lunch on the water!

We stayed in this cottage for a week in October 2011. We were looking for a peaceful, upscale, comfortable vacation spot. This was perfect. The cottage finishes and architectural detail are wonderful; way above average. The views from all windows are marvelous. If you happen to have a rainy day, you will not mind at all, because you can sit in front of the fireplace and relax. We found ourselves rushing back after a day of hiking or biking to sit on the porch and watch each fabulous sunset. In the morning, you can watch the herons fishing while you sip your coffee. The shower is heavenly, the kitchen is very useable. The artwork is perfect. I highly recommend this property.

We had stayed at 1 Meetinghouse last year and this property is constructed of the same quality but on a smaller scale. It is ideal for one couple looking to getaway for a romantic vacation. All rooms have a view of the water, even including the bathroom. Heat, if needed, is provided by 2 fireplaces, one in the living room and the other in the very large upstairs bedroom. The bed was extremely comfortable. The property is very clean and appears branch new. It is very tastefully decorated. As it is situated at a dead end road, it is extremely private and quiet. There is a 2 person large tiled shower with a “rain shower head” with high end plumbing fixtures. Corn Hill beach is a short 30 minutes walk away. You can easily canoe or kayak right from your door both in high & low tide. Bring your bikes as there are many back roads surrounding this home providing safe cycling and beaches are a short ride away. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property to friends & associates and look forward to returning in years to come.
