Apple Bear Cottage is centrally located in Wears Valley making it easily accessible to Cades Cove to view wildlife, 8.8 miles from the house to Pigeon Forge Parkway (441) for Dollywood, Splash Country, dinner shows, etc., 1.5 miles to Wears Valley convenient stores, antique shops, souvenir shops, candy making shops, bank, etc.
Or, in this tranquil setting, you may just choose to kick off your shoes, throw a steak on the grill, and dine on the patio overlooking the majestic mountains. What can be more relaxing than watching the sun set over the mountains and the lightening bugs taking their cue to blink in the night.
Apple Bear Cottage features 2 bedrooms with two queen log beds with each bedroom having double French doors providing exits to outside balconies. Each bedroom is equipped with a 19 inch flat screen TV, DVD/VCR.
The master bedroom opens into master bath with marble floor, jetted whirlpool bath, separate shower, and double vanity. The second queen bedroom is accessible to a full bath from bedroom or can be entered into from hall area. This bedroom also features a black marble electric fireplace operating with flame and/or flame and heat.
For the kids and their friends, there are 2 queen sofa sleepers (both are already made up with fresh linens and ready to snuggle into). One of the sofa sleepers is in the game room which has a large pool table, wood burning insert fireplace, and a 19 inch flat screen TV, DVD/VCR. The 2nd sofa sleeper is in the living room which features a large 42 inch flat screen TV with DVD/VCR. This room also has an electric fireplace to snuggle in front of operating with flame and/or flame and heat.
If these things don't suit your fancies, retreat to the sunroom for a bubbly hot tub massage, viewing the mountains as you relax.
