Location, location, location….
Wake up in the morning at this Kahana Outrigger Resort ground-floor unit and you are literally Oceanside—not even 40 feet from the water! Be soothed by the soft lapping of waves on the shore as you enjoy your first cup of coffee on the private lanai. Unobstructed, 180-degree views of the neighbor islands and the Lana`i/Moloka`i channel offer a feast for your eyes. When ready for a leisurely stroll, step out onto the grassy lawn in front of the condo; in only about 10 steps you will bury your toes in sandy Kahana Beach. Be sure to return to your lanai in the evenings to enjoy a cool beverage while taking in breathtaking sunsets. This experience is not to be missed!
A family-friendly property, the Kahana Outrigger Resort is a low-rise, low-density complex of only 16 units in four buildings. Peaceful and well-manicured grounds keep you out of the crowded hotel scene while at the same time offering unparalleled proximity to the ocean. An oceanfront/beachfront heated swimming pool and BBQ area are not only available for your use, but are situated only a few steps away from this particular unit.
The spacious condominium of 1,450 square feet all on one level beckons with the feel of an elegant and sophisticated Maui beach house. Ceramic tile floors and tub/showers throughout; custom sapele ribbon wood cabinets capped with premium granite countertops; and all-new, premium appliances ensure an upscale Hawaiian experience. The fine furnishings, accented with an Eastern flair, are showcased against a backdrop of Venetian plaster walls and exposed-beam cathedral ceilings. Although the condominium offers air conditioning, it is also ideal for open-air lovers, with plenty of windows positioned to make the most of Maui’s cooling Trade Winds. The environment is beautifully luxurious, airy, and inviting.
Three bedrooms and three bathrooms offer plenty of space for up to eight guests: a king bed in the First Master Suite, a queen bed in the Second Master Suite, a queen bed in the Third Bedroom, and a queen-sized sectional sleeper sofa in the Living Area. In addition, the property is fully stocked with everything imaginable you may require for a superior stay. Top-of-the-line linens and towels; dramatic four-poster beds; Henckel’s cutlery; iHome clock/stereo docks for your iPods and iPhones; three TVs with premium cable service; free telephone; free secured Internet accessible from inside the unit; beach toys, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and a rolling cooler…the list goes on and on. Truly this property presents the ideal blend of luxury and comfort in a gorgeous tropical setting.
Maui’s most cherished activities are just minutes away. Shopping, along with both fine and casual dining, are within walking distance, as are necessities like gas stations, convenience stores, and banks. Only a 10-minute car drive takes you to the town of Lahaina, with all of its shops, restaurants, art galleries, luaus, and nightlife. Of course, some of Maui’s best swimming, snorkeling, tide pool exploring, and boogie boarding is to be found directly in front of your very own condominium!

The fact that this is our 2nd year in a row staying here and are already booked for 2014 should say it all! This property is just how it looks in the pictures and as desribed. The furniture and decor is done in very good taste, there is plenty of all that is needed in the kitchen, the ceiling fans provide a constant tradewind flow, the shades provide coolness when needed, which was only sometimes in late afternoon, the room air conditioners is a nice feature for those that need to cool off and not needed for those that prefer the ocean air and there are small fans in every room if you like "white noise" while sleeping. All 8 of us had our space when needed and easily came together in the more than large dining room. Going from kitchen prep to outside grilling of "Ahi" tuna from The Fish Market was a cinch and with grilling at two large gas grills pooolside, it's always fun to get to know your neighbors. You meet alot of Canucks and folks trying to dodge winter. The parking and location of condo is the best in the complex. Josh & Anna were a delight to work with and always responsive to our little needed contact. Our two toddler grandsons had busy days filled with beach, sand toys, pool time and a yard to play soccer, tag or most yard games. Don't buy any children's sand buckets, tools or beach chairs and umbrellas, it is all provided in the storage room. Thanks to a bucket, our grandson was ever so proud when he & his dad freed an eel stuck in the tide pool. After all that fun in a day, they could wind down watching a children's show or movie on the large screen living room tv while the adults got ready for happy hour and beautiful sunsets. Sitting on the spacious lanai, you witness whales galore right in front of you. Bring a good pair of binoculars and you could sit on the lanai all day mesmerized watching whales and sunsets. This condo is so comfortable, it made for some great family memories that we will make again! What a GEM!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Steps from the beach, swimming with the turtles, trying to surf the waves, walking distance to a couple of neat restaurants and a short drive to many others in Kapalua, Lahaina or Kaanapali. This unit at the Kahana Outrigger was fantastic for the three couples that rented it in October 2012. Unlike many other units this one has three full and private bedrooms and three ensuite bathrooms. What could better? Extremely well equipped right down to the boogie boards. My kitchen gadget loving wife was also really impressed with all the kitchen amenities. We couldn't think of anything the owners of this unit have forgotten for their guests. It was just about perfect!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We (a group of 6 of us in our 20's) just returned from our stay. We had an amazing time, and the unit was perfect for us. 1. The Kahana Outrigger in general: The complex is very small, so you usually have the beach to yourself, and you never have to fight for a chair at the pool. It is located a few minutes north of Kaanapli, and a few minutes south of Napili/Kapalua. There are even restaurants and snorkel rental within walking distance. The property is lush, beautiful, and very well maintained. 2. This unit in particular: the furniture/design of the condo is much better than almost any other condo we looked at, regardless of price (and I did a lot of research.) Even within the Outrigger, this unit has the best location, and the nicest interior. The unit is directly oceanfront (with full views from the lanai/living room and the 1st master bedroom.) Each of the 3 bedrooms are well furnished, and have bathrooms en suite. There are 3 TVs, and an IHOME system. The kitchen has everything you'll need for preparing meals (and we highly suggest grocery shopping and cooking meals at home.) It saves a lot of money, and the view from the lanai is as nice as the most exclusive restaurants on the island. If anything, the pictures can't do the unit justice. When we walked in for the first time, we couldn't believe we were going to live there for a week. 3. Management: Anne was great to work with. She was very responsive, and accomodating. We have absolutely no complaints. 4. Nearby activities: For kids (or not strong swimmers) Kapalua Bay is a great beach with hardly any surf and beautiful clear water. Napili is also great, with slightly more waves. Definitely go snorkeling (we went on a kayak/snorkel tour with Hawaiian paddle sports.) Road to Hana is also a must.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Driving into the parking lot we caught our first glimpse of our 'home away from home' and we started smiling. Opening the front door and seeing this beautiful unit and the incredible view turned our smiles into whoops of pure glee. We were living the high life and loving every minute of it! The home itself is tastefully and comfortably decorated; we instantly felt at home and the 5 of us settled in for our 9 day stay. We spent a good amount of our time sitting on the lanai and watching sunrises, passing rain storms, rainbows, WHALES (lots), the everchanging faces of Lanai and Molokai and beautiful sunsets. A nice little beach is just a few steps from the house and we enjoyed using the unit's beach equipment in the ocean. The property is well taken care of and the plants and flowers are perfectly Hawaiian. Having a washer/dryer was a plus. The kitchen is well stocked and all you need to do is go to the grocery store. Thanks to the owner, Ann, we learned that Safeway in Lahaina Cannery Center has the best prices. If you have a store card the savings are great. We used our Vons Card as we live in So. Cal. Speaking of Ann; she is a gem! Her friendly 'Welcome Call' was great and gave us a chance to ask a few questions about restaurants/shopping. She made sure everything was perfect, and it was. Mahalo Ann! It is a quick drive into Lahaina. For a great beach day try DT Fleming Beach Park just past entrance to Kapalua. It's a beautiful beach with lots of sand and gentle surf. We saw turtles at the rocky end of the beach. The Ritz-Carlton beach cafe is at the other end and serves a yummy lunch. Our lasting impression of 9 days in this home will be of comfort and contentment. We highly recommend this property if you're looking for a place to rejuvenate your spirits and reconnect with your companions.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Six family members, 3 couples, stayed in this condo and it was a wonderful choice of accomodations and location. Everything the owner described, pictures and description were true. We had rock star parking, it was impeccably clean upon our arrival and so comfotable during our 10 day stay. Whales galore, you hate to leave the lanai which is the most ideal on all the property. Ann sent us a great list of recommendations for the the area. We could'nt get to them all so we will return and would highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This condo is very comfortable, cleanling, all equipment and tools has been prepared carefully, in fact it had everything. Perfect kitchen in the condo meant we didn't have to go out to eat if we didn't want to. The swimming pool is very cleanling, our kids very like it.Only 10 meters to beach and the sand is very soft, you can swimming, surfing, etc. If we come back to Maui in the future, we would not hesitate to book this property. Highly recommended ~ you will not be disappointed!Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

The property is as advertised, it is a large three bedroom, three bathroom with a large kitchen and steps to the beach. We stayed at this property for 10 days the middle of November 2011. We had enough room for our three kids and there was even a pull out couch. The pictures were very realistic and very representative. The entire property was well maintained and extremely clean. The location was great as it was a quick drive to may fabulous beaches and cities. Enjoy....Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My family of six just stayed here for a week and wish it could have been longer. Large, comfortable, beautifully appointed condo. We have lived in Maui and visited many times over the years and this is by far the nicest condo we have ever stayed in. Completely stocked with everything you need, beautiful furnishings, comfortable beds! The view is AWESOME and one of the very best on the island. The beach is right in front of the condo and just sitting on the lanai was one of our favorite things to do, any time of the day. Highly recommended ~ you will not be disappointed!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

From the moment we walked in the door, it felt like home. Beautifully decorated, yet we never felt like we had to be so careful as not to break something. Beautiful, yet lived in. The three bedrooms were perfect for me and my daughters. (Ages, 21, 19 and 15). My 15 year old slept on the pull out couch and said it was super comfortable. And she got the best view in the morning with the gorgeous ocean out the sliding glass door. We spent every evening on the lanai talking and laughing and watching the sunset. The location provided us easy access to everything.... great food, shopping and sightseeing. There wasn't anything that we needed and never said, "Oh, I wish this place had.... ," because it had everything. Great BBQ in the pool area meant we didn't have to go out to eat if we didn't want to. It was the perfect vacation, and the condo (although it never felt like a condo) made it perfect.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.
