This luxury rental house is located in the exclusive Painted Rock area of Squaw Valley, and is only a 3 minute drive from the base of the Squaw Valley ski area. This is the perfect location for winter or summer vacations. Whether you like to ski in the winter, or golf or mountain bike ride in the summer, this location gives you access to all that the Tahoe area has to offer.

The home is beautifully furnished with high quality cherry furniture from Thomas Moser and leather couches and chairs by Roche Bobois. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped for any kind of cooking you can imagine. Beds have luxurious mattresses and quality sheets, and fine photographs and lithographs are seen throughout the house.

The back of the house faces a green belt of pine and fir with views of Painted Rock, providing privacy while in the hot tub. The hot tub sits in a gazebo which keeps the snow off in the winter while allowing you to enjoy the mountain air.

The layout of the home is perfect for families and entertaining. The kitchen, dining and living room are open and connected, divided only by a floor to ceiling granite rock fireplace. The Master suite is upstairs, offering privacy, while the other three bedrooms are downstairs. The master suite has a gas fireplace and a jetted tub.

The house gets full sun throughout the day - a big plus in winter months.

  • Whether sipping an afternoon cocktail from an elegant martini tumbler or enjoying a wonderful dinner presentation complete with crystal wine goblets prepared in a gourmet kitchen by a cozy wood fire, this vacation retreat is the height of luxury furnishings and warm hospitality. The museum quality art, scenic views and prompt availability and guest attention provided by the owners make this fabulous home in Squaw Valley an awesome destination.

  • I had the pleasure of visiting this spectacular house in the heart of Squaw Valley, just a short 3-minute ride to the Squaw lifts. Nestled into the Painted Rock neighborhood, this luxurious house was a perfect get-away. The home has a spacious open floor plan; the main level has a large center fireplace that is flanked by a gourmet kitchen with top of the line appliances and a very comfortable living area. There is a 65” HD TV, stereo with iPod dock and a large modern private hot tub just off the garage. The upstairs master suite is a retreat on its own; including a spa bath, separate shower, fireplace and breath taking views from every location. Needless to say, we had every comfort required to ensure we would return from our ski vacation relaxed. I highly recommend this house. - Jyri

  • Wonderful, gorgeous, convenient, luxury establishment! This is the very best of the vrbo experience, a beautiful home created by people who understand just what you'll need to feel at home but stop completely short of clutter. It was like staying at the Ritz with every detail accounted for. Great beds, great linens, gorgeous sparkling- clean bathrooms with beautiful views and wonderful fixtures, state of the art entertainment system, awesome hot tub with views, perfect kitchen functionality, everything down to trays to put your glass of wine on while you're watching the telly. The decor is classy and understated and the owners were helpful and responsive. And our party has seen a lot of rentals and has high standards.... Gold stars!

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. It is tastefully decorated, beautiful furnishings as well as art work. It is comfortable and cozy yet large enough for the comfort of adult guests. The kitchen/great room area is inviting, we gathered there for beautiful dinners cooked in the well equipped kitchen. I look forward to our next gathering in this great home.
