First of all it was easy to find and an excellent location for the Poipu area. The Lawai Beach across the street was very good for snorkeling or just kicking back for awhile and none of the other beaches were that far away either. As for the Condo, I don't think I have seen a better equipped one. Might be the cleanest one too. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the way the breeze moves through the rooms. Overall you have an A+ place Thanks for letting us be part of it.

We loved your condo! Kauai is now our new favorite island. Your condo was perfect. It was clean and comfortable and stocked with everything we needed (and things we hadn't even thought of). We loved the ocean view from the deck. The king size bed was very comfortable. Your place was close to everything and we loved that we could walk across the street to the beach & snorkel. There were so many wonderful restaurants nearby. We will definitely (and have already) recommended your condo to others

We have just returned from celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in Hawaii. The second half of our stay was in Kauai. The location of the condo was great on the south shore of the island yet easy to travel and explore the rest of the island with a rental car. Too many wonderful sites, sounds and memories to list. The condo provided us with a home base and had everything we needed plus more. Jean and Sue were wonderful to deal with and made renting the condo very easy. The onsite property manager was also great to deal with and answered all our questions. We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to recommend this property!

The location was great, right by the beach with excellent snorkeling and all those turtles - everywhere The condo was small - but we didn't need alot of space The Condo was equipped with everything you could want beach gear, cooler, cleaning supplies, towels, mats, spices, Hawaiian music CD's, books & every kitchen gadget you could imagine. The grounds were gorgeous, even an orchid garden We can't recommend jean and Sues Condo enough ( Now I am wondering if I should send this n, all the days will fill up ) Thanks for a great time = we are coming back

We loved our stay at your condo. You have made this a cozy place with all the conveniences of home. After a day of exploring the Island, it was nice to have a place to go "home" to. Our fond memories will include walking on the beach, visiting the Spouting Horn, the helicopter tour of the island, sunsets on the grass in front of the Beach House, hiking at the end of the road , old town Koloa, the lighthouse and the botanical gardens among many other things. The condo was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The brochures and info we received ahead of time from owner were very helpful. Snorkeling and swimming steps away from condo were fantastic and the opportunity to go zip lining nearby by with the Kauai Adventure Co. was also a great experience. There are many great restaurants to chose from in the area however we really enjoyed Keoki's Paradise.

Condo was great - perfect for us - clean, well equipped, even with beach chairs and small cooler. Perfect location on South Shore, close to Po'ipu Beach, Spouting Horn and charming town of Koloa. We spent much of our beach time on north shore at Hanalei, an hour fifteen minutes away, but were always happy to go home to quieter, more serene Lawai Beach. Be sure to make a reservation at the Beach House for dinner - right across the road. Kauai is just beautiful. We were grateful to have made the choice to spend all our time there instead of island hopping.

Fit Our Needs

We found this unit to be well located for just about anything you might do on Kauai. It's about 20 minutes from the airport, 20 minutes to Port Allen boat charters, 35 minutes to Waimea canyon, and about an hour to Hannelei Bay, which the locals will tell you is far, but isn't by mainland standards. The beach across the street is perfect for swimming and snorkeling if the sea isn't too rough. The Beach House lawn is great for sunsets! The unit is exactly what you see here, I was surprised at how accurate the pictures were! The building is quiet, cool and breezy in the summer. The markets in Koloa Town are close by and a big help.

Owner response:We were glad to have them them as they were on their Honeymoon. We always want our renters to know exactly what the Condo ( inside ) and the Prince Kuhio Grounds are like. We provide many extra pictures on our link on Flickr for our guest. Many guest have commented how quite the Prince Kuhio complex is, also about how cool and breezy our unit is. We do not have air conditioning, but have ceiling fans in all rooms. That plus the cool tropical breeze flows from our Lanai through louvered window in the front of our unit - no need for air conditioning.

Your Condo offered all the comforts of home, a full kitchen, nice living area, and wonderful bed! We loved the location, just across the street from a fun swimming/snorkeling area and a delicious restaurant. The place was immaculate, exactly as listed and shown, except that your pictures can't actually impart just how cozy and comfy it is! And, talk about well equipped. Who does the baking? The lanai, with its great view to the sea through the trees, was a restful refuge and great place to enjoy my early morning java. And, being on Kauai, handy to everything. Eight days in paradise.

Great Kauai Condo

My husband and I loved the condo. It was very well furnished, clean, with everything from beach chairs to beach towels. The kitchen was well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. Great view from the lanai. We were there during the tsunami warning and were were alerted by someone knocking on our door, on the phone, and via sirens. Plenty of time to get to higher ground. Loved the Beach House restaurant across the street. Snorkeling beside the restaurant was great also. Loved the helicopter ride on Blue Hawaian. Plenty of great placed to see. My wife and I really enjoyed the condo and staying at the Poipu beach area. The Condo was well equipped and very clean. The manager Lucy checked in a couple of times to make sure we were ok. We did day trips from our condo and loved the time we spent in Kauai.

My wife and I spent the past xmas holiday here to escape the North Dakota cold and the accomdations were excellent and everything we had hoped for. The owner was very quick about answering any questions that we originally had and being that this was our first trip to the Islands and our first VRBO, we asked ALOT of questions. Access to snorkling is excellent and I snorkeled every day across the street, mostly off the sand beach to the west. If you snorkle directly across the street be careful of the sea urchins along the rocks---wear water shoes. However, the snorkling is very good here and far fewer people during the day and you have a much better chance of seeing turtles. Back to the condo: This listing is very clean and you have all the necessary items that you will need. You may even find a fishing rod/reel that I left there! If you are looking for a great getaway on a great island, I strongly recommend that you check out this listing. In addition, if you like the botanical gardens don't be afraid to buy the annual membership, which gives you access to both the north and south gardens as many times as you want.
