We stayed for 4 nights at this cabin. The property is easily accesible and close to many attractions. The cabin was well equipped, clean, and comfortable. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced place to stay while enjoying the Colorado high country.

Awesome and quiet place!!! Great location!! We stayed here for a week with our 3 year old, and my sister and her husband. The cabin accomodated all of us comfortably, and there was enough level area outside so we never worried about our 3 year old rolling down the hill. The one morning we even had four deer right up by the back deck!! The area is beautiful and quiet, but still close enough to town and there is alot to do in the area. We took our 71' Ford Bronco along and did alot of trails, visited several old mining towns, and even did some panning. Lastly, the owners are great and easy to work with. They get back with you right away!! Definitely recommend this place for vacation!!!

A cozy cottage with great views from the deck. It is very private ( 10 min out side of BV) and very quiet. There is some limited hiking right outside the back door on the flank of Mt. Princeton. Sprint had cell signal at the house. No TV or internet means you can unplug.

We had no trouble at all finding the cabin from the directions given to us by the owners and were very pleased with the location, the availability of supplies and kitchen items, the new bathrooms and the cleanliness of the cabin. Our early July 2011 stay there was a perfect time of year in a beautiful location in the state of Colorado and we found it to be very relaxing and enjoyable.

My wife and I stayed here last fall and had a great time. Quiet and comfortable cabin, relaxing setting in the woods, and a great location right by Mt. Princeton. Highly recommended.

Amazing deal on a mountain cabin (more like a house than a cabin). The back deck of this cabin is sooo nice to sit out on and have a drink looking out over the snow capped mountains. Close to the hot springs, town, and the Colorado trail.

I have stayed at the cabin a couple of times in 2010, loved it! It's cute, cozy, and affordable. Great location, close to the hot springs and Monarch! Would definitely recommend it!

We enjoyed 4 wonderful days here in August 2009. The cabin is cozy, quiet, comfortable and perfect for a family or group of friends looking for a get away and some serious board games. For those who like to climb 14ers, there is a pick of more than a half dozen within an hour's drive, including Mt. Elbert, Colorado's highest peak. For rafters, the Arkansas River is a 10 minute drive away. Buena Vista is a small but lively town with lots to offer.

I really liked the cabin which was tucked away but still close to the city center. The arrangement was good and the cabin had a vintage feel to it. I felt my stay was pretty comfortable and I did not have any issues. The owner is very easy to work with and responds quickly to emails etc.

Really loved the cabin interior. The knotty pine throughout is so cozy and the lilliputian bunkroom is an 11-year-old kid's dream! In fact, we've stayed in lots of vrbo rentals and this one probably had top sleeping quarters of all! Super convenient to BV, hiking, and great dirtbiking. Great place!

Awesome place! Very relaxing and cozy. The beds are very comfortable; every type of cookware that you might need is there, along with all manner of spices and so forth. The back deck is fantastic -- great view and just so peaceful and beautiful. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed here with friends when riding in the Buena Vista Bike Fest in late May 2009. Great cabin. The kitchen, dining and living areas accomodated our group of 5 adults very comfortably. Bedding was of very good quality for a good night of rest. The kitchen was fully stocked. The location was peaceful, and the back deck was a great place to sit quietly in the sun. We would definately stay there again.

My wife and I stayed here for three days in early March 2009 with our 2 year old daughter. The cabin was well stocked with all of the essentials for cooking including pots, pans, spices, and condiments. There were plenty of toys for our daughter to play with, and board games for the adults. The cabin was close to skiing in Monarch and soaking in Mt. Princeton Hot Springs, which we enjoyed as well as lunch and shopping in Salida. Buena Vista is a 10 minute drive which met our needs for groceries, drinks and dining. The cabin is surrounded by gorgeous scenery and we saw plenty of wildlife come through the backyard. Lastly, the owners were friendly and able to help us with dining and recreational recommendations. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place as a wonderful and relaxing getaway.

Great location - we took our sleds up and my boys sled down the hill in the back of the house for hours. The cabin is really close to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs and town. There is a great fireplace in the family room. We watched the deer come right up to the house from the family room window. We will be back!!
