There is lots of great shopping, restaurants, entertainment, movies, golf courses and nightlife that are near by. Palm Beach International Airport and Downtown West Palm Beach are both a 20 minute drive, Ft. Lauderdale is 1 hour and Miami and South Beach are 1.5 hours. Orlando and Disney are 2.5 hours away.
For local night and day entertainment we are 10 minutes from the Gardens mall and Downtown that contains the Cheesecake Factory, Whole Foods, movies, etc. If you are into fishing we have two piers, with one being in a park with a lagoon that is very safe for children bathing.

I purchased this home because in my opinion there is no nicer place to be on the East Coast of Florida than Jupiter. Jupiter is truly the Greenwich CT of Florida!!

My property is a nice size, single family home with private pool that offers the security and amenities of a larger development. Sea Colony is one of the few Ocean Front communities in Jupiter and is noted for the friendliness of its owners. Typically the same renters come back year after year.

We stayed here with our family during a baseball tournament at the Roger Dean Baseball Complex. This was really a nice place and accurate to the owner's description. The beach was very close and accessible on foot or car, the home was clean and well kept, and the neighborhood was also well maintained. The family room has been upgraded since the owner's photos were taken, and has a nice flat screen LCD for enjoying the extensive movie collection of the owner. The house had easy highway access and is located within 5 minutes of a number of restaurants and stores. Very conveniently located to everything we needed. In summary, a really nice place owned by a very helpful and responsive owner with everything we needed, and no surprises. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to others.

Great stay! Lovely, clean place - comfortable beds ...fabulous location! Very easy access to the beach and supermarket, drug store, restaurants within minutes. The pool/patio area offers a really relaxing sort of island feel. Perhaps most important when planning a stay in a private home is that the owner is very responsive and, from first contact, invested in making the stay an excellent one. We highly recommend this vacation property!

My family and I spent almost 2 weeks here in August, 2010. I was nervous that the house would not be as nice as the description but it was. The house was clean and well maintained and provided us with the space we wanted. The owner was very responsive to all questions before we arrived and even after we arrived even though he was also on vacation. It was easy to walk to the beach, tennis courts, shops and the larger pool which we frankly did not use. The private pool was perfect for us and a great place to cool off after playing tennis. The Sea Colony is a nice community and for those with young children if the beach and pool are not enough, the turtles and the fish in the community pond can provide for hours of entertainment. It was a great place to spend our summer vacation; I wish we could have stayed longer.

My wife, three daughters, and I stayed at this property for a week at the beginning of July. The home was beautiful, well-maintained, spacious, tastefully decorated, and clean. There was plenty of room for the family, with a private spot for everyone. We most enjoyed the pool and patio area, spending many late nights enjoying apple martinis while the kids frolicked in the pool. The Sea Colony property is very neat and kept up nicely and was in great proximity to beaches, shopping, and excellent area restaurants (we recommend The Hurricane Cafe for breakfast, Samantha's, Entre Nous, Food Shack, and Golden Pavilion). The property's main pool and patio area, complete with restrooms, jacuzzi, and outdoor shower, was also a winner. We highly recommend this property.

This was a perfect house for our family of 6 (two teenagers and two pre-teens). The beach was closer than it looked on GMap. We loved the pools and the home was clean and had every necessity to meet our needs. Garrie was great to work with and very accommodating. For the price, it was wonderful. There are also some fun places to eat very close by. This is a great place for a nice, relaxing vacation.

A perfect vacatiion house! We had a great time! The beach is a short walk away, and the pool in the yard was perfect. Everything you need is at your fingertips! Just pack a swimsuit and sandals and prepare to relax!!

We enoyed our stay in Sea Colony very much. Garrie was extremely accomodating and quick to respond to any questions. The home is beautiful, we had the added luxury of all new furniture, and brand new carpeting and appliances. We would recommend this area and this particular home to anyone.
