This 5,600 square foot beautifully landscaped lake front home was designed to entertain multiple families with children who like to have everything available in one location. Swimming pool, spa, bikes, pool table, ping-pong, air hockey, pinball, Ms. Pac-man, and the lake. The house is situated on a point lot overlooking the main lake inside Cuscowilla, a world-class residential golf community.
As you walk thru the front door, you are greeted by views of the lake. The main floor features 10' high ceilings, wood floors, two master suites with full baths, office, central living area with 50" plasma (HD) TV, and a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, gas range (six-burner), two ovens, ice maker and two refrigerators. Kitchen utensils, linens and towels are provided. Whether sitting on the covered patio with its wood burning fireplace, or laying out on a lounge chair by the pool, this professionally landscaped home gives you the feeling that nobody else has a house on the lake.
There are four bedrooms upstairs, three full baths, game room with pool table (ping-pong table top), air hockey, pinball, pac-man and a "Kids Only" play area off to the side of the upstairs TV room. If the kids are not outside playing in the water, water skiing, being pulled on an inflatable or riding bikes, you have the option of letting them play upstairs while the adults have a quiet area downstairs to relax. A win-win for everyone.
It is no problem to have an off-site meeting or a corporate retreat. The house has its own conference room that seats 12 comfortably. You can have your meeting, play a round of golf, enjoy the lake with all its amenities and cap off the evening with steaks on the grill. There are few other houses on the lake designed this way to build those relationships with clients, families, and friends. You will not find a better house on the lake that offers so much under one roof for multiple families to enjoy. Kids have an area to play, adults have an area to enjoy and everyone walks away with great memories.

The house is very well equipped with plenty of towels, pool towels, blankets, kitchen utensils, pots, etc. Toiletries such as shampoo, soap, and conditioner are supplied in every bathroom.
Boat/Watercraft rentals are available from Typhoon Tommy's which is located within Cuscowilla or from the marina directly across the lake from the house. Other rental sites can also be found by searching different websites.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets and smoking is not allowed.
There is a grocery store (Publix) ten minutes away, numerous restaurants, movie theater, and other retail amenities in the area.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this vacation rental. Everything from the home to the property to the owners was wonderful. I rent 1-2 homes a year for various family vacations and consider myself pretty picky about accomodations and this home exceeded my expectations. The pictures are very accurate, however, there is even more room than the pictures and description would lead you to believe. The home is also well stocked from water toys, life vests to basic things like serving peices and refridgerators. We had 17 adults ages 14 and over and 6 little ones and there was plenty of space for everyone -particulalry in the multiple outside seating areas. You can tell a lot of thought went into designing this home for large groups. We did encounter a few small hiccups with thngs not working but the owners were incredibly responsive and had maintenance people there within hours. I highly, highly recommend this home.

As a golf professional, I have taken many golf trips and stayed at many different places. None have been as perfectly suited for a large group at this wonderful home. The location was perfect. We were within minutes of Cuscowilla Golf Club and were centrally located between all the properties at Reynolds Plantation. In the past we have had to split our group of 12 golfers amongst a couple of properties. This year, all 12 were able to stay in one home and never felt cramped. Each player had their own bed and the outdoor living spaces, the game room and large kitchen worked wonderfully. The owners were also a pleasure to work with and made the arrival and departure a piece of cake. I would highly recommend the property. Whether you are a group looking to get some golf in at Reynolds or a large family looking to spend some time in a gorgeous and relaxing setting at the lake, homes don't come any nicer. I would highly recommend the property to anyone wanting

Everything about the house was as perfect as could be. With some other large house rentals, I have in the past found that although there were a lot of bedrooms, there often wasn't enough thought put into making sure the seating/living/eating areas could truly accomodate large groups. This house handles all that perfectly, providing ample seating/dining space to go with the bedrooms, and providing enough separation from the living room, gameroom and play areas that a guest could get away if desired. The owners are very friendly and accomodating, and truly care to make it a "turnkey" experience for the guests. The house location on the lake is ideal, and the pool/spa just add that extra something that makes it like a resort experience. We had a tremendous time, and hope to come back next summer. Kudos to the owners for creating such a great experience.

My husband and I recently stayed in this beautiful home with a group of friends and had a wonderful visit. The photos do not do it justice. It is absolutely gorgeous, and very comfortable. Plus, there was something for everyone to enjoy! Thanks for providing us such a wonderful place for a get-away. Even though the home can easily accommodate a large crowd...as soon as you step out onto the porch you enjoy the beauty and serenity of the property and the lake. The kitchen was so well stocked that cooking for a crowd was a breeze! The pool area is just fabulous. We loved how you could enjoy the view of the lake while sitting poolside. However, enjoying my morning coffee while rocking on the porch and watching the beautiful sunrise over the lake was THE BEST! We had a wonderful time and look forward to our next visit.

My name is Bob Preston and I have shared my place so much with friends and guests over the years that I sometimes feel more one of them than the owner! I designed and built this house in 2002, having spent a year in an exhaustive search for a similar house on Lake Oconee. My profession and passion is architecture, so I tried to create a sense of place close enough to Atlanta to be convenient, yet far enough away when you got here to feel you had truly escaped the city. The house is an Arts and Crafts design with a cozy feel that belies the size of the house itself or the lot. It is laid out and landscaped to slowly reveal itself, not unlike the design of an english garden. In this respect, I was fortunate to find such a great piece of land that lent itself so well to the vision. It's a comfortable place to be, which I have tried to gear equally to a collection of familes, a golf outing or a corporate retreat. As such, it is designed to entertain the likes of children as much as those of clients. The Great Room, master bedroom and porch face east to take advantage of the sunrise over Lake Oconee. From the porch, you walk down across a mid-level terrace, alongside the pool and the hot tub. From here, you can stroll down to the dock or onto the landscaped grounds. I have always taken great pride in everything I have ever done and I think you will see that if you ever get to stay here. This will always be a special place to us, but my wife and I have four children who have now become involved in weekend activities in Atlanta. As such, we don't get down here as often as we would like, so we made the decision to rent it out in the hope that others may at least enjoy it in our absence. My brother-in-law, Larry, runs the rental program and I am confident you will find him both responsive and friendly.
