For the summer season, enjoy the all sports lake just outside the patio doors with boating, swimming, fishing, and water-skiing. Pontoon boat rental is available daily or weekly nearby; reserve early prior to rental. One of the best fishing lakes in Michigan with a variety of water depths and game fish! Kids can enjoy the park just down the road with a playground area. Enjoy breathtaking colors around the lake in the fall or plan your stay around hunting season.
For your winter get-a-way, plan a hike, go ice-fishing, snow shoe, cross country ski or go snowmobiling at Yankee Springs recreation area just around the corner. Come home and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate around the wood-burning fireplace or relax in the hot tub overlooking the lake and under the stars.
With only a thirty-five minute drive to Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo, you can enjoy a variety of social and cultural activities including: music, theatre and restaurants, The Gerald R. Ford Museum, Children's Museum, John Ball Zoo, Art Museums, Amway Grand Hotel, Whitecaps baseball games, and major concerts and events at the Van Andel Arena and Western Michigan University.
