We live in paradise: A bright and airy 3,000 square foot, family friendly multi-million dollar home which is close to secluded community beach (2 blocks/ about 400 yards down a quiet lane) and an easy walk to shops, boutiques and restaurants (less than 1/2 mile) in the village of La Jolla, California.
Our two story home has four bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms and three with private balconies. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and the fourth bedroom is downstairs (currently used as a den/family room but with a beautiful new sofa couch that converts to a full bed). The Master bedroom has a King bed, the 2nd bedroom has a Queen bed and the 3rd bedroom has twin bed with twin trundle.
Off of the ground floor are two patios overlooking the backyard and garden: One for outside dining with a table and chairs which seats eight and a large gas BBQ in the rear garden. The other patio, adjacent to the main dining room is perfect for lounging and after dinner socializing. The garden is laid to grass, well landscaped and very child friendly.
The well stocked kitchen consists of granite counters, dual stacked Dacor Ovens, and large Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer. The kitchen is between a formal dining room on one side and a large breakfast nook on the other side. Just off of the dining room is a large living room with sofas and seating for ten and an antique backgammon table just in front of the bay window overlooking the beautiful front English rose garden.
Other amenities include an outside shower for a quick rinse off after a day at the beach, a gym quality treadmill, garage parking for one car with an additional two spaces in the driveway.
This is our primary home and it is only available during the summer. For the 2010 season it will only be available for 3 weeks - June 19th thru July 10th. The house is located on Olivetas Avenue (cross street is Sea Lane). Priority goes to one renter that will take all 3 weeks.
