The house sits on a wooded dune overlooking the White River National Dune Sanctuary and the Lake Michigan Shoreline. 40 steps lead down to a short path leading to our private beach access.
Ours is a beautiful sandy beach where one can walk for miles. Whether napping in the hammock in our shady yard or relaxing on one of our 2 decks, one can enjoy unobstructed views of Lake Michigan from the yard and every room of the house.
The view is unparalled and the sunsets are spectacular.

Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: I live in Chicago where I work as a psychologist. I have 2 grown children. I love good music, gardening, skiing and travel. In the summer, I enjoy relaxing week-ends in Michigan with family and friends.
Why the Owner Chose Montague:
Montague provides a low-key atmosphere where one can "get away from it all". It is a place where one can still have bonfires on the beach or walk for miles without encountering crowds. Deer, wild turkey and fox are frequent visitors to the yard. The area is a birders paradise! I have enjoyed summer week-ends in Montague since I was a child. Summers in Montague have provided my family with many happy memories over the years.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
My favorite times at the property watching the deer and birds as I have my morning coffee, long late afternoon walks on the beach and sunset dinners on the deck. The golfers in the family start each day with an early morning golf game at the course up the road.
