7MB voted best beach! Silver Sands is on 7MB and has 4 acres of manicured, flowering grounds with 550' of pristine white sandy beach. There is direct sandy access to the sea, no ironrock. The sea colors of aqua, blue and turquoise just let your stress melt away. Relax under our casuarina trees, thatched huts, in our hammocks or bask in the sun...your choice.
Our condo is located on the quiet, north end of 7MB. If you are looking for peace and quiet, Silver Sands is your destination. The density at Silver Sands is extremely low, 42 condos and only 16 are rented. If you walk down the beach, you will see major hotel guests squeezed like sardines on their beach. Silver Sands gives you all the space you need to relax.
We are within walking distance of a large Foster's Food Fair. We recommend renting a car but there is a local bus service which charges $2CI each way to Georgetown and back. Stay at Silver Sands, head to the various shopping centers, downtown Georgetown or Camana Bay....all just minutes away by car.
Silver Sands was built in 1978. Our island home, Silver Sands #24, is located in a 3 story building beginning on the second floor. The living area is decorated with wood ceilings and crown moldings and fresh new paint colors. Track lighting was added for better reading. We have a direct view of the Caribbean Sea from our lanai, living room and master bedroom. Our second floor location allows for privacy, security and endless breathtaking seafront vistas. Only a few condos at Silver Sands have our direct Caribbean Sea view. We are truly "ocean front".
Our condo has all the amenities of home. We continually "tweek" our home to make it as comfortable as possible. Please email me for more pictures of our condo and our grounds.
Guests have been coming to Silver Sands yearly for over 27 years. They love our lush landscaping with many colorful, tropical flowers. We are the only condo on 7MB with both a large sandy beach and colorful grounds. Owners and guests meet "Under the Gazebo" for cocktails and to try to catch a glimpse of the infamous "green flash".

This was our first time to the Cayman Islands. Wow what a treat, the condo exceeded our expectations and was even better in person. The grounds are a flowering treat and the beach with reef not to far out was execllent for snorkling everyday at your leisure. Every possible thing you could need is available. We hope to be back again next year. This was by far the best vacation our family has ever been on. We think Silver Sands is the best keep secret of Cayman Island. Loved everything about this Condo from its location to Ceiling fan in all rooms and WOW the bathrooms were a treat with overhead shower spray. The tiles, all the color schemes and decorations made you feel right at home in this tropical paradise. The water views from this unit are amazing upstairs and downstairs. Just loved waking up each morning to those ocean views. We visited Rum Point and did Stingray sandbar excursion, Turtle Farm and Dolphin Center. I have just returned from another vacation at Silver Sands. I thought it couldn't improve from my previous experiences, but the gardens are even more beautiful and the overall vista of the beach and the sea from the second-floor lanai is like looking at a travel brochure. There is a feeling of total relaxation and serenity. Silver Sands is a beautiful place to spend your vacation. This unit, where I have stayed several times over the years, is decorated beautifully, as depicted in the photos, and equipped with everything you would need. This is a second-floor unit and affords much-desired privacy and security. I would definitely recommend this unit; in fact, my son, who was married in Grand Cayman, has returned several times and stayed in Silver Sands. It is a very beautiful experience to watch the sunset from the gazebo on the private beach in front of the condos. There is also a wonderful swimming pool surrounded by lush gardens. I look forward to my next vacation at Silver Sands.

This was my third vacation at Silver Sands and I can't wait to go back. This is the absolute best spot on the Seven Mile Beach. The beachfront is pristine and so much more spacious than any of the surrounding properties. None of them can even come close to the splendor of this beach with the glorious casuarina trees providing filtered shade all day long while you sit and absorb the beautiful colors of the Caribbean. The grounds are lush with wonderful colored tropical flowers and beautifully manicured shrubs all wonderfully maintained. I walked to many other properties on the Seven Mile Beach and was struck with how crowded the beaches were and how few of them had any landscaping or trees for shade. Hotels charging hundreds more per night had their patrons shoulder-to-shoulder in lounge chairs, while I had practically the whole 550 feet of beach to myself. The condo unit itself was perfect--spacious, well--equipped, extremely clean, and beautifully decorated. The photos on the site, while accurately reflecting the appearance, can not do it justice. I am so glad that I chose this second floor unit because the view from the lanai encompassed the lush landscaping, as well as the beautiful blue waters of the Caribbean. The views from the first floor units, while nice, were obstructed. The owner was very responsive and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this condo to anyone---it was perfect!

Just returned home... Want to go back. So secluded and beautiful! We had the beach and pool to ourselves. The water is so clear! The condo was spacious, clean, and decorated beautifully. Everyone working at Silver Sands is helpful and friendly. Grounds are kept immaculate. Owners are easy to work with and accesible. Highly recommended!!

I have stayed at Silver Sands, and specifically Unit #24, on several occasions. It is a wonderful way to spend a vacation. The only way to describe it is paradise. The restaurants are fabulous, the climate is ideal. Silver Sands, in particular, is superior to other lodgings because of its beauty and serene environment. I plan on revisiting Silver Sands again.
